FlatOut on Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT/8600 GT/8600 GTS

So lets say I have a Nvidia geforce 6100 and upgraded to 8800. Would I be able to play most of the recent games to come out, like Empire total war or what?

@AeroFix94 No it was a brand new comp. everything was maxxed except for the Graphics card (a Nvidia 6100). To resolve that issue, I got an HD radeon 4350. Not the best, but its still really good
