Just for kicks this is what I did. I had beat the game with this guy and I knew about the ending. So I left the system on and turned off the tv to do other things. I came back home it was like 11pm I turned on the tv this foo still eating noodles!
I'd like to know what the guy says every 3rd time he serves the bowl. When I was younger and watched my cousins play this game, I had hardly any concept of Japanese language/culture, so I heard this and was like, "....eelwich? o.O"
@semimaster83 He's saying "Hai, omachi". literally it means "Yes, (I made you) wait". In this context, it means "Thanks for waiting" or "Sorry I made you wait".
