  • Hey Robbie I always like the way you mix a medley because they seem to compliment one another. You always do a fine job in this reguard. I hope you continue to post. I love the sound of your accordion too. It is very rich and pure. Bravo Mate.

Keep up the great work. I feel you are a natural by times.

  • Robbie this is fantastic and I really enjoy listening to your music. You have a lovely style and its great to hear all these wonderful songs from home. Come over to Ireland!

  • Thanks very much Jason. I would love to go to Ireland if I got the chance it seems like a lovely place with lovely music and lovely music. Do you have any CDs out btw? I was hoping to buy one of your playing I think it's great.

  • Yeah I have three albums and a dvd. If you go on to the Sharpe Music Ireland website you can get them there. I haven't recorded in about four years or so. I'm back at college and my career path went in a totally different direction! I know Sean very well and i know he would be delighted that you're playing his music

  • Yeah I'll upload it mate, but I'll need to learn it first so I'll upload it when I can along with Spancil Hill and a few Scottish ones. What new uploads do you have in mind?

  • Wow Robbie that was great and you shifted keys so gracefully and never a mistake. I think part of this song was in the Key of A near the end am I correct. Any way beautiful music from you. I wonder if you realize how lucky you are to have such a fine accordion and a fine gift that would be your ear and taste for music. So well done man so well done.

    Ronnie your big fan

  • Thank you very much Ronnie. You're close it's in the Key of B. Yeah I'm very grateful to My Highest Authority for all that he's done for me and I love the music that I play. Thanks very much again :)

  • this is amazing how do you learn these tunes?

  • Thanks very much for your kind comments. I just listen to the CDs a lot, figure out which key each tune is in and I learn each one individually by ear. I play along with the CD and listen back to each tune more carefully while learning them to make sure I'm doing it right. Takes a wee while but it's worth it in the end. Just hope Sean Wilson doesn't mind me doing this lol

  • lol i doubt it i told him i played his music all the time lol.

  • he was just saying how he was shocked to know someone my age was listening to him and other singers lol.
