Tips and Tricks: Gourmet Single Cup Brewer BKC700XL

I have the Bosch Tassimo. I was disappointed that Starbucks decided to stop supporting it and plan on coming out with their own machine but all these single brew machines are nothing more than an environmental nightmare; not to mention a financial toll with all the refills you buy. Get into the habit of grinding/brewing your own. It has to be said I thought a great machine would cost upwards of $1000, but I was pleasantly surprised Breville has an espresso machine for under $200 to $500 :)

Does the plastic cup contain any BPA's in it or any other leaching of chemicals ,when the hot water is in it ? Any studies on the matter?
