On a different note I'm glad though that the Deus ex Machina is willing to give humanity a chance at peace. Before the Matrix the machines tried to co-exist with humanity but humanity threw it back at them, a parent that didn't care and only wanted to save itself. The machines have suffered too.

The one thing that is lost in watching this at home (unless you have a really killer 5.1 sound system) is the way in which you could FEEL the voice of that machine as it spoke - you could feel the words in your chest. It was the coolest sound effect ever - I've never heard anything like it since.

In my opinion, its the source and hence the reason Neo manages to see the Matrix outside of the Matrix. He can obviously only see machines because they are all connected to the 'source' with the source being this machine. The connection between 'the one' and 'the source' is the reason Neo can uses his abilities on machines in the real world. The real twist would be if he could uses his power on humans and/or fly. It would defy the whole concept of the movie.

To find a new power source, they begun to harvest humans, to do this, they had them put into a coma in which they were actually plugged into a machine made construct called the Matrix. The reason for some of them to be unplugged (23 if i remember correctly) is an error created by putting the concept of human choice into the programming for the Matrix.

Some ppl say that Morpheus is a character that portrays the old magical negro character in a story which I dont believe . Unlike movies like the legend of bagger vance this character is yes a supporting character to a white protagonist but the difference with this is he is a character with his own life and love as we have seen in all 3 movies . @Bobaklives Lol Interesting you should say that. THe First movie was essentially Allegory of the Cave, by Plato. This movie included christian undertones, but this movie stayed true to itself for One Reason, and that Reason is in it being Allegorical. The surface of the films premise is Christian... but too truly understand the plot, you have to look much deeper than christianity.
