Tunisian Crochet: Knit Stitch

I've been slowly teaching myself how to do the Tunisian and I came across your video. It was incredibly helpful. I would like to know if you know how to 'join knitwise' I'm sure I'm reading the instructions wrong and doing it wrong because my work still doesn't look right. If you do would you be willing to do another video on how to do that.

Oh my goodness! I just realized that I was mixing up the Tunisian knit stitch and the Tunisian simple stitch! Thank goodness I watched this video before starting the project! I'll just have to re-do the swatch.
