I like how he picked to sing from the Point of view of Peter. Peter is the one that Christ built His Church on when Christ said "And I say also to you, That you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." And Guess what the Gates still have not prevailed against it. The Catholic Church has been around for nearly 2000 years and the Gates of hell have NOT prevailed. Amen! Awesome performance!

Don Francisco is probably the best preacher i know of... he preaches through song using words straight from the bible... AND...get this... to download his songs from his website...IT'S FREE!!! Praise GOD, Don only asks for a donation... big or small... tell me thats preaching gods word "take no gold nor silver for My Name".....hmmm kind of makes you think about some religion leaders aye?....

Need I also say that Don Francisco is highly gifted to play skillfully as well as sing with tenor and timbre. He has a special technique of strumming and the orchestra makes the sound be majestic.

Amazing song! The Lord gave this song to the Body and it still rings true and new as when it was first released because our God is ALIVE! All bought and paid for by the blood of the Son, who rose from the dead because sin and death had no power over his resurrection LIFE! Why? He is God!

I love this song!! I was introduced to Don Francisco's work by a lady who mentored me when I was a teenager. Whenever this song would play on the radio at night (I played the radio while I slept) I would always wake up at the end of the song. It's always been a joke between me and Father because I would always wake up when the song declared, "HE'S ALIVE". I love Don Francisco so much! Thanks for posting this song online!! I loved Don singing this back in the 80's. I am so thankful to you for posting this. This is one of the most powerful christian songs. You can just see and feel Don's passion for our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise Jesus.

Yes this is to me the most powerfull Christian songs , full of love not hate that comes from Islam. Thank God he is so forgiving. My prayer we soon all over the world learn to love rather than hate.

The first time hearing this song and many since have brought tears to my eyes. When I am down I play the video for inspiration.
