I totally believe now that th small budget the series had was a blessing. Season 8 sucks ass! A castle in scotland? A array of futuristic weapons and outfits? Green vampires? Centaur and giant Dawn? Buffy flying? Spike in a spaceship? I wish this wasn't cannonical cause now I'm forced to acknowledge is existance. O and the artwork is just as crappy. Buffy the series ranks as my all time favourite show. But as for the comics, I just stick to Xmen.
I heard that the comics made Buffy a Lesbian.... -___- is that true..? Because if so, the person in charge of the storyline needs to have their writing utensil shoved up their ass.
I agee with everything you said in this review, the whole Dawn thing is probably my biggest issue, a giant!? I mean why did they go in that direction. I've got the first 3 volumes but I really wanna get back into it now and pick up some others. Vol.2 is my favourite just for the Faith arc which is brilliant, can't wait to hear your thoughts.
I totally agree with you about them bringing back Warren (who you kept calling Andrew btw), it completely takes away from his death in S6 and the whole Willow going dark arc (same with them bringing back Wes in Angel ATF). Another that bugs me about these comics is that they seem to think bigger = better b/c they have no budget restrictions and they kind of get lost in that sometimes.
