DJ Shiftee's Traktor / Maschine Tutorial Pt 3/3: How to Midi Map + Free Mappings (Settings)

This mapping seems to work but not others, very weird. I have appended the mapping in controller editor, and added the TSI file to traktor. I have zero midi communication between traktor and maschine, BUT, if I press the sync button on say deck B, the proper LED lights up on my maschine.

Anyone have any idea's?

I missed you too sir. Oh why thank you, I've been doing a lot of jumping jacks and eating toasted oats. Also thank you so much for the mapping I couldn't tell my cue point from the shift button. Now all I need to do is learn some gratuitous arm waving and head bobbing and ill be the next skrillox.

My track browsing doesn't seem to work. And sometimes it takes more than one hit on a pad to switch on and off modes, like for example, switching on and off the FX on the Group slots. That ain't so much of an issue. More of the track browsing and other gizmos. Thanks.

mapping works great big fella. For those who can't get it going:

1- download mapping

2- goto controller editor and append the mapping to maschine (edit, Append)

3- in traktor go to control manager click add then import.

Great mapping, but yeah there are some issues. Most weren't a big deal or a quick fix. But I can't figure out how I can get the 7 & 8 cue points deleted using the hold mute function? I'm guessing they need 3 modifiers in order to work properly? I have gotten them to the point that I can delete the cues but it doesn't work properly when I delete the cue it jumps to the cue when it deletes it, and if I hold mute and hit the 7 & 8 cues they will continue to lay another cue then delete and so on.

@schizology It should be identical. Did you also import the .ncm file and double check this is the template you are using with Traktor? Also did you delete any old mappings you might have? Also also did you check your in and out ports in the controller manager?

But the thing is there's some mapping that dont match the controller editor layout and the function as well. for ex' select should browse downwards the library, it didn't . plus LED's doesnt blinks like the one you have on the video. The Loop size for deck B is workin through swing knob, but i dont know hot to activate it, and i seem to lost (or didnt know) the loop size for deck A mapping. but overall,this is GREAT mapping,thx Shiftee
