For those wanting to know....He has described this song along lines of "sitting at a poker table and seeing your soul", "stacks" is a poker term referring to your "stack" or your amount of poker chips. There are other poker references "I keep throwing down two hundred at a time" etc.

@simontdavies i'm pretty sure it's about being, in essence, at rock bottom, but clearing yourself out so as to finally let go of heart ache or pain... and i think the "stacks" would be compilation of hurt, hard memories, bitterness, etc..

in an interview, he said the album was about "getting emotions out, getting it oxygen so it can burn away."
