the E92 335i will murder this car! bmw's are still the ultimate driving machine! same constant design with the audi's! needs a change! and yes benz still haven't understood that a straight 6 or kompressor v6 will do but BMW sure did which is why they had the E46 M3 and now have the 335i which will eat this for breakfast! and benz also had the W203 C32 amg which should've been redone for the W204 it would've sold 10x's more then the C63! BMW still are the best as they know wtf their doing!
Well I personally would prefer the Audi beacuse it will be an all year driver and I want the Quattro AWD. The 335 with AWD sucks! Trust me I use to sell them, and as soon as somebody came in saying they wanted All Wheel Drive and they were also looking at Audi, we didn't see them again. As well, I am using the car as my everyday driver so the S4 is better suited to that. PS: The RS4 will be the one to face the M3, just wait to see what Audi does next!
and i have no prob with that, i can understand your point. personally i don't like AWD sports cars, RWD are the best as you have the most fun with them, the AWD is just to in control and doesn't give much excitment to drive. i am very possibly getting an M3 E92 in april and i can't wait, the car is the best M3 to ever be produced i think. this S4 will be on the streets where it will excel the best but not on the track, where as the M3 excels in both! if not you can always upgrade to an S5?
I live in Canada and we get good amount of snow in the winter, thus the AWD being a big deal. Considered the S5 but need the 4 Door because I have a 8 month old son. My plan is to eventually get the S8, but I can't justify the cost yet. I am having a hard time deciding between the 6 speed manual and the 7 Speed DSG. If I was looking for a rear driver then the M3 would be the car but needing a daily driver with some oomph that's AWD. The S4 is my only current choice, until the RS4 comes out! YUM

the cool thing about audi is, in the midst of this hp war, audi is still coming out with great innovative cars like the r8, the a5 series, the a3 series, the suv's... I was going to write that myself. Audi put a V8 in the RS4 with 420hp first.....and then BMW did with the M3. Who was the editor? I see those mistakes in journalism all the time though.

Audi do this by purpose. If they release a really fast and superb s4, just remember, they have to make the rs4 much much better! So they make it easy for themselves. Still nice though.

Mee eens. Veel foute conclusies en zeker die van bmw en mb. Rs - amg en M horen bij elkaar en de s is vergelijkbaar van de 335 en de c 350. Beetje raar dat ze dat zo doen maar goed het is weer een plaatje.
Ik vind dit een echt mooie S4. De S van het vorige model vond ik niks. Ik kan niet wachten op de RS4. Maar dit mocht echt mijn auto wel zijn. Hij is denk ik beter voor alle dag dan een M3.

this guy knows nothing about audi. it accelerates 0-60 faster than the old s4 with the v8. 4.9 seconds compared to 5.3 seconds with the v8

I have heard the B8 RS4 wll use a 450hp 4.2 or the upcoming supercharged V8 that will be available in the A7 and next generation A8.
