Wierd that 's ppl are praying for Japan... but for childrens , womens and mens who are killed in Iraq and in the other countries or ppl who starving and ppl who are sick and dying no one is praying for them ...that's really sad so sad ...we should pray for the peace in all the world .
Wonderful message they gave out to Japan... a prayer is worth so much! And if there are ppl that do give money to countries in need, I'm sure Christians will be among those to donate. It is of course easier to ridicule this loving action than to acknowledge that maybe you should have done something yourself. May Jesus bless you and open your eyes.
Anyways...it was a LOVELY and INSPIRING video...it's still nice to know that there is some Good in this world and even though you aren't exactly directly affected, that folks still genuinely care for someone who is miles and miles apart. Thumbs up!
I find that the moment you mention the name of a religion the hate automatically builds up in peoples hearts for an unprovoked reason. Something is wrong with you all people...seriously. So because someone does not act, behave nor believe as you do and CHOOSES to live their lives differently...you have a problem with that?... Are you people crazy? You are doing your thing and they are doing theirs...SO WAHT IS YOUR PROBLEM?! Do people have to be followers instead of leaders? You folks need HELP!

not what I was expecting but was moved by it all the same. must have been nice, for the Japanese after the earthquake and tsunami and the wreckage of one of their largest nuclear power plants, to know that others in the world were thinking about them, and this was a great was to let them know. Didn't do to for self promotion but to make others feel that they were not alone. Very nice. Peace Out!
FUCK RELIGION IN THE ASS! without religion, alot of poverty in the world would be gone, many wars would have found place-.- etc etc, i can go on. FUCK religion
@melikehardstylez Because my religion told me that it is wrong to hurt or kill someone I can't just take whatever I want from anyone and kill all the people I hate. God damn religion fuck you. Man if it wasn't for religion I'd tell Mr. Barack Obama to just nuke everyone in Africa because they are taking up all the resources in the world. We are running out of space in America and need more land. We need to take over Africa. Just kill everyone there, we'd just be ending their misery.
@Steeeev0 obviously you didn't get my point. Without religion the words: "moral," "good," "right," etc, wouldn't exist. Just take whatever and kill whoever the fuck you want. Sure a large population of the world uses religion to justify there action saying "it's God's will" or "God this, God that" but religion is the foundation of humanity, it saves lives. Think of the seat belt. It's been sued for killing people. But think of all the lives it's saved...
@sparrowarcher actually those worlds would exist... and i do agree that religion does have it's good side but it also has a horrible past of murdering everyone that would be against it. and i don't want to be part of something that Murdered people that had different beliefs. but i guess it's ok if you decide to join something that to this day has killed thousands of innocent people.
@MrYouData I believe in the saying "guns don't kill people, people kill people." Through my interpretation of the tiny portion of the Bible I have read, I follow the hardest thing the It teaches which is to not do harm to anyone else; although sometimes I do fail at this. And though I consider myself a Christian I do not follow any denomination. I simply try to be a good person. i see that people who freakin' commented shit don't know if these people have donated to the cause....not like ''some people'' can't do any better...Christian or not...it was a nice sight to see ^_^ ..i don't see why people gotta thrash other religions..they forget thaT they freakin' human too....faggots -.-

Yeah... praying is really going to help those that lost their homes and family members... Instead of gathering holding up fancy pamflets trying to make yourself feel good about it, actually do something instead if you're so sincere?
@FubarHS And you commenting on this doesn't help either, now does it? Raising awareness and serving as a reminder is also a way to encourage help from many, many more. And just because they did this doesn't mean they didn't do anything else to actually help the unfortunate. If you're so right and realistic then how come you didn't think that these people may have donated or did whatever they could as well in addition to this?
Common guys christian or not, muslim or not whatever belief you follow, at the ned we are all humans with a heart full compassion. They didn't donate money because they are christian, they donated money because they saw another human being in misery. I am in japan. I felt the earthquake myself, saw people drowning and went up north to help them recuperate and help them in bringing their lives up. Please stop this fight of religion, homosexuality, color, caste and creed. WE ARE ALL HUMANS
Why would an atheist look up Christian videos to hate on don't ask me- and why would an atheist care if some organization went over to a country that had went through disaster, loss of life, money, some people there had nothing left to love and someone no not some one 50k people told everyone in japan they cared, and each of those people spent tons on plane tickets. Why would anyone do that oh I don't know maybe something led them to do it some thing knowone can explain maybe they all had a hea
It's easy to be hopeful about the human race when seeing these flash mobs. But one has to remember that in the end, all these flash mobs are organised in the rich, capitalist western lands. The day there will truly be hope for a peaceful, global civilization, will be the day where any African, Indian, Middle Easterner - or anyone from a currently 'developing' country, can take part in a flash mob as he or she desires.

@zim3x They'll find other reasons to fight about, other excuses to feed their greed and expend their power... We saw that with all nations that actually banished religion. Lets not forget the main palestine anti-israel party is secular and their israeli enemies are aswell, and that the boys in Ireland fight for the sake of rioting; probably not even knowing off the religious differences anyway..
And at the same time the secular charity's were making new sheets and beds for homeless people to sleep in, and providing healthy food.
If these 50k people would actually do something like that, i guess the japanse would have something to appriciate. But since most japanese are not religious, i doubt talking to your imaginary friend, would help them much.
@matutee321 jesus existe brother you must learn quran im nit trying to tell you you need to be muslem but you need ton now the true . the man ho was dead is somebody ho looks like jesus ..... sorry for mi bad english
je suis vraiment desole pour mon anglais mais si tu veux en p parler ene francais
For shure, this flashmob would be 10.000 times better... if that woman would not act like a robot!... I mean.. can you be a little bit more excited about this.. and don't act like we were little children... so anoying... (I was there)
@ImProudtobeDutch ok, so.. as all these things have no meaning for you, I suposse you won't mind if i arrange a party the day your mother die to celebrate it. I actually think that moral support is welcome wherever it comes, not only the money, food and water.
@ImProudtobeDutch Always with stupid arguments.. Let people do pretty things. You can learn a lot from this kind of people. Believe in whatever you want, but don't criticise people with no sense.
Blaa Blaa Blaa ? i am so jelourse, that i need to make a comment full of blaa blaa that would make no sense at all. So sorry for u. U mind if u pray for u to ?
this is a cristian meeting , they want to show the world a good gesture, by doing this and say that they are pray for them because this is one of the things we can do for them. i´m also in the red heart to by the way.
@1thetracey How can you know if they actually did donate to Japan when you don't even know all of those people? I don't know about you, but when I would have been affected by that earthquake I would have hope again if I saw this video, because I know that these people are praying for me. So what if the majority religion in Japan is Buddhism? Isn't unity what we wanted in this world? That despite having different religions we are all one?
Why translate it to English? If you go to the effort of translating to English, why not Japanese... unless this is just a publicity stunt to make themselves feel better in global eyes.
@hbbos1 I am not even with those christians but even I know to answer to your stupid remark.
Because english is much easier to do. Japanese mostly can speak english and the same goes for dutch people. Japanese is a hard language to write and speak correclty with such a large group. Especially when most people can't speak or even know a little bit japanese.
If you don't like christians or the things they do then don't comment in a bad way. Just don't comment at all please.
@Annietje01 The banners are printed. What you say is only true if it were the case that participants were asked to make their own to take part. If you've gone to the effort of organising such a demonstration, you can translate this simple phrase into Japanese. Printing it in Dutch would have, I agree, made little sense; but this would make no difference as clearly this is not for the benefit of Japan. This is a waste of time designed to make the religious feel that they are socially relevant.
@hbbos1 Maybe that is true that they do it so they can feel socially relevant or to make them feel better.
I know for my own experience that a lot of christians are that way. But I do believe also that there are a lot of people who are christian and they are not that way.
I think that they just simply didn't thought the way you do and thought that english would be good enough.
@CODPLAER94 Go preach your shit somewhere else. Don't get me wrong, I respect all religions, but nothing annoys me more than when people try to pass their opinion as a fact and start preaching their religious beliefs bullshit.
@Fotographing Christians are encouraged to pray but you will also find they donate, They go to the countries and get their hands dirty. A vast number of charities in the world have Christians as their founding fathers. Atheists and secularists are so happy to slag off people of faith but where are they when the going gets tough. So many atheist pressure groups who want to do away with religious freedom give little to charity. The world needs more love and giving not sneering. God bless you
@temersno Majority of the Netherlands is atheist, and just as capable of respecting/loving others, putting in just as much effort, donating and supporting the next man.
So please, apply what you believe on yourself, and stop slagging off on atheists, as you are being very hypocrite right now.
@temersno A vast number of charities in the world have atheists as their found fathers, too. Atheists are not sneering at religion for their love and faith (which is both very real and admirable), but when any religion becomes stepping on minorities' toes and condemning homosexuals or members of other religions - that's when atheists open their mouth about religion. I think this video is just great, and I have no doubt the efforts did good for the Japanese cause. Good effort!
@temersno this almost makes up for the decades.. oh wait, centuries of religious repression that christianity has encouraged and has been the direct cause of. the crusades? the spanish inquisition? eh, i guess charity and relief efforts just about balances out the off the chart cases of sexual abuse high religious figures have been prosecuted for. i am not hating on the bible in the same way i dont hate on harry potter, but the fact that mainstream religions are only for profit makes me upset.
Wierd that 's ppl are praying for Japan... but for childrens , womens and mens who are killed in Iraq and in the other countries or ppl who starving and ppl who are sick and dying no one is praying for them ...that's really sad so sad ...we should pray for the peace in all the world .

SilveradoNL 2 months ago
@SilveradoNL No, the secular charities weren't doing that. The secular AND religious charities were doing that.
And atleast these 50k ordinary people did sómething. Atheists most likely didn't went to this event and did nothing.
Japan has some of the largest pentecostalist churches by the way.
ElmerAwesome 2 months ago
@ElmerAwesome atheists didn't walk around with signs saying "we pray for japan"
Atheists actually did something to help like give money.
d4m4s74 2 months ago
@d4m4s74 Nope, the average one sat on their couch and did nothing.
In all seriousness; both secular and religious organisations went there and donated money; so don't hate.

That despite having different religions we are all one?
joyciesh 3 months ago
Why translate it to English? If you go to the effort of translating to English, why not Japanese... unless this is just a publicity stunt to make themselves feel better in global eyes.
hbbos1 3 months ago
@hbbos1 I am not even with those christians but even I know to answer to your stupid remark.
Because english is much easier to do. Japanese mostly can speak english and the same goes for dutch people. Japanese is a hard language to write and speak correclty with such a large group. Especially when most people can't speak or even know a little bit japanese.
If you don't like christians or the things they do then don't comment in a bad way. Just don't comment at all please.
Annietje01 3 months ago
@Annietje01 The banners are printed. What you say is only true if it were the case that participants were asked to make their own to take part. If you've gone to the effort of organising such a demonstration, you can translate this simple phrase into Japanese. Printing it in Dutch would have, I agree, made little sense; but this would make no difference as clearly this is not for the benefit of Japan. This is a waste of time designed to make the religious feel that they are socially relevant.
hbbos1 3 months ago
@hbbos1 Maybe that is true that they do it so they can feel socially relevant or to make them feel better.
I know for my own experience that a lot of christians are that way. But I do believe also that there are a lot of people who are christian and they are not that way.
I think that they just simply didn't thought the way you do and thought that english would be good enough.

@CODPLAER94 Go preach your shit somewhere else. Don't get me wrong, I respect all religions, but nothing annoys me more than when people try to pass their opinion as a fact and start preaching their religious beliefs bullshit.
Fotographing 4 months ago
@Fotographing Christians are encouraged to pray but you will also find they donate, They go to the countries and get their hands dirty. A vast number of charities in the world have Christians as their founding fathers. Atheists and secularists are so happy to slag off people of faith but where are they when the going gets tough. So many atheist pressure groups who want to do away with religious freedom give little to charity. The world needs more love and giving not sneering. God bless you
temersno 4 months ago 29
@temersno Majority of the Netherlands is atheist, and just as capable of respecting/loving others, putting in just as much effort, donating and supporting the next man.
So please, apply what you believe on yourself, and stop slagging off on atheists, as you are being very hypocrite right now.
NLTemplar 3 months ago
@temersno A vast number of charities in the world have atheists as their found fathers, too. Atheists are not sneering at religion for their love and faith (which is both very real and admirable), but when any religion becomes stepping on minorities' toes and condemning homosexuals or members of other religions - that's when atheists open their mouth about religion. I think this video is just great, and I have no doubt the efforts did good for the Japanese cause. Good effort!
Vazzivazzi 2 months ago 54
@temersno this almost makes up for the decades.. oh wait, centuries of religious repression that christianity has encouraged and has been the direct cause of. the crusades? the spanish inquisition? eh, i guess charity and relief efforts just about balances out the off the chart cases of sexual abuse high religious figures have been prosecuted for. i am not hating on the bible in the same way i dont hate on harry potter, but the fact that mainstream religions are only for profit makes me upset.
