  • your sitting to the canter is soo good! how do you get it like that?!

  • Nice leg position, your heels are down nicely as well. I need to stretch my heels more, they can't go down very far right now, haha.

  • there i horse at my farm named Tank and he is percheron he is so big but great ride i just started riding and i no balance

  • is your trainer from wisconsin?? it sounds like she has a accent.

    CUTE horse! good job!

  • that horse is really pritty! he is a good jumper to

  • He looks like a cool horse to ride!! :]

  • TANK!!! i remember when he still jumped that smalL!!! Did u here he jumped 3 foot with Rochelle? He still didnt actualy jump.... just lifted his feet up over them!

  • Ha no I missed that! Wish I coulda seen it.

  • It was so cool =] he's such a good boy for her!!

  • greaat riding :D i know this was over a year ago, but i noticed in this you need a little bit higher crest release even though the jumps are small. very cute horse to!

  • you need a bit more 2 point

  • i dont mean like fast fast, i mean the horse should've gone a little faster so he has the power to launch over the jumps

  • The jumps arent high enough to require more forward movement. He seems to have no problem motoring over them.

  • There shouldn't be much power involved clearing those jumps, they're pretty small. He would probably be able to trot up to them and still clear them...

  • He's cute! great riding! What breed is he?

  • He is a percheron/quarter horse cross.

  • nice riding and jjumping :D

  • Your horse needs to go a little bit faster towards the jumps, than he won't knock them down. I just started a horse over fences, and he's wonderful.

  • Thanks. I dont ride this horse any more, he has moved on to be a saint of a lesson horse for kids.

  • teaching a horse they have to go fast to a fence is a bad thing. it's not about speed, it's about impulsion. they're different.

  • I actually already do a short crest release. Do you mean an automatic?

  • do you jump higher

  • Yes I do. Anywhere from 2'6" to 3'.

  • for her being a semi green horse, you handeled her really well.

  • Thanks you! He is doing amazing now, and is one of our barns best school horses.

  • how long have you been riding?

  • When this was taken I had been riding 5 years.

  • I love perch crosses.

  • I wish I could jump on horses! I do dressage though:) Pretty pony by the way!

  • Wow! AMAZING horse and rider!

Anybody who says "i can jump higher than you" is simply in the horse business because they have the money for it - people who understand that you have to have your position set down before they go big, take their time with smaller jumps.

My pony has the ability to jump the moon..but we have been practicing at 2'-2'3" for the longest time to gain experience and practice.

    Very well done!

  • Thanks very much! Ive been jumping for 6 years this summer, and regularly jump 2'6", which doesnt seem that high, but it is so vital to practice at a level where you arent going to get yourself in trouble.

  • No prob! And exactly. It's also good to not put any stress on your horse or lower their confidence if they arn't ready to jump high.

Its nice to see that you also sit back before and after a jump.

    :DD

  • "And dont say 'oh I can jump so much higher then you' because any idiot with half a horse can launch over a huge fence."

YES FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS!!!!!! LOL :D

great job by the way :D

  • purdy horsy :p

  • i love what your wrote about you video description, i hate it when people say "oh i jump higher then that" its lame lol. any way your horse is freaken gorleous and you looks great

  • I think your the only rider i've seen a video of on you tube that is at the same leval of riding as me!

  • your a very good rider

i dont think about height i think about form

and u have very good form over them jumps

  • omg i didnt even know i posted that lol~

  • lololol. Your trainer! At 00:34 it sounded like a cat wailing. zomg! Anyway... lol, great jumping. ^_^

  • Thanks!

  • quarter horse/percheron is such a weird mix lol =p u did great nd da horse is cute! he looks like he will become a brill little jumper

  • HAHA! i was laughing the whold time cause of the person in the background!! was that your mom or trainer? how long have you been riding? I love horses. I own two acually.

  • Haha, thats my trainer. The loudest person I have ever met, but one of the best people too. I have been riding for 5 years.

  • 5 years! ur pretty good. keep it up!!!

  • The horse looks kinda chunky. no prob with that cuz my pony is too! =D Your toes turn out a little over the jump and you can put all your wieght in ur heal to prevent this so it cant turn. Maybe more of a half seat too...

  • Ha, he is a quarter horse/percheron, chunky kinda runs in the blood.

  • wow you are a really good rider!!

  • Thank you very much! :D

  • hes a really nice horse and really honest. u look like a great rider cause u look really calm and advanced. great job!
