  • Wow, i was amazed at he roomy back seat!

  • Unless that is a custom steering wheel, it is not leather wrapped but rather molded plastic. :-)

  • These cars are the best, take a look at mine, its a custom though... if youre into that.. youtube.com/watch?v=K9j6JLMxPp0

  • i hate to bum you out but thats not a tbi motor

  • if u disliked this video u dnt have a penis

  • 51000 miles my ass

  • This is why i dont like the 80s Americans...look at the bulky interior, gear-selector with probably came from a forklift-truck...come on!

  • @FrankypankyV8 i would rather have that then todays cars that look like childs toys and with all the abs tcs etc systems you cant even have fun with them

  • @ST0N3R420X420 ,

The current cars are computers on wheels...No way, mate! I like the cars from the 60s. Big 425 cu engines and a real design!

  • @FrankypankyV8 cant argue with that but if your like me and dont have much for a pocket the 80s cars are about as good as it gets lol

  • @ST0N3R420X420 ,

Well...not all 80s cars are terrible of downright 'shit'...But I can name a lot more desirable 70s cars than 80s cars...Just my IMHO.

  • By the look of the steering wheel it has probebly done like 551k miles seeming it seems to max out at 99k then resets.

  • Ha ha I love how it starts at about -1000 rpm and then it shots to 9000 what a car.

  • wonderful RPM gage

  • The only car in the world that you actually HAVE to grow a mullet to drive. lol

  • Clean Monte. Check out my page under Jasonbatson I have a bunch of old school videos of classic cars.

  • Somethings wrong with the Tach.

  • WOW, it idles at 8,000 rpm....

  • i can't tell if i like the notchback or the aerocoupe better both very sweet cars

  • how much u want for the monet

  • 180hp pretty slow 95 impala way faster

  • @badass12337 Youre comparing a 1987 car to a 1995? Of course the newer car is going to have better numbers!!!!! Its called technology advancing!

  • u r so lucky to to have this car. the old style monte carlo r my dream cars. i will die without ever being able to own one. i live in poverty on an evil corrupt reservation that keep good honest people from accomplishing their dreams. i never did get a treaty as a native american. I didnt get any thing i was promised in all the treaties. every time i c things like this my heart sad ins and i just get more depressed. but thanks for letting me c your ride. i hop u take care of it.

  • What's up with that tachometer?

  • yes feel the mullet......

  • Thays what and engine should look like!...not a plastic covered quiet little thing!

  • it has orgional sun burnt interior and 150 k orginol miles fuck that where are the eagle gt tires they lasted longet than 50 k buddy

  • was that the white diville without front seats in the backround?

  • cool it idles at over 9000 rpm

  • the radio is really not operational rite now lol

  • wd 40 on the door hinges will get the squeek, and probably the hard to pull out of it

  • little TLC and restoring and this is a great car. it's great already; just needs a little bit of work and she's a beaut.

  • This car is just ready for my duct tape.

  • Hey Kyle when u can can u review the 1987 buick Grand National

  • Comment removed

  • Great engine sound

  • Tach oops!

  • I LOLed at the the passenger door slam lol you can hear the iron echoing as he closed the door through the cat lol!! Tanks!!!

  • aero coupes were made for NASCAR. in order for a manufacturer to use a car in NASCAR, they had to have the same car in production for the public..thats why they have the aerodynamic rear window. its also why they didn't make many of them..they made barely many more than they had to so they could use their cars in NASCAR

  • NOW THATS A CAR*

  • could you do a 7th generation Toyota celica please? thank you

  • haha rpm gauge.

  • lol when he started the car the RPM gauge got stuck

  • Love these SS Monte Carlos! Only drawback was that the dashboard gauges on Chevys back then looked like ASS!:-P

  • interior could use some work but other than that, beautiful car.

  • are these things worth around $12000?

  • 0.....2000.....5000.....OVER 9000 RPM!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • love these style Monte Carlos my favourite generation

  • wow this engine's so quiet at 8k rpm

  • Excuse my language, but these are the s***! X-D

  • I love how the tach shoots straight off the gauge on startup

  • I'm pretty sure this 5.0 has a carb on it.

  • I don't particularly like the car, but I have to admit, it sounds fantastic

  • i think that rpm gauge is broken. just a guess

  • It seemed rolled back not original miles no original floor mats cracked center console missing center caps horn not work but the body engine excellent trunk looked like showed more use for 50,000 mi

  • holy fudge WANT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah it's a nice a car and very very rare as u say (not sure 'cuz im not a expert of MonteCarlo's) but this car is pratically all broken, just watch the plastics or the buttons, full of dust inside.... Nice engine yeah, but the whole cost of the car is about 2500 $ or 3000 $ in my opinion........ :)

  • If I'm honest, I like your videos of old cars even more than the newer ones, imho they just have a lot more character than the new stuff. Thanks as always.

  • Man this cars exterior looks amazing

  • the 1981-1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was assembled in

    Arlington, Texas

    Pontiac, Michigan

  • Do you remember what the price was on this car? I'm looking for a car exactly like this, just stick.

  • *starts*....*idles at infinity rpm* "fires right up" haha

  • OH MY GOD, YOU ANSWERED MY REQUEST!!!!! whether or not it was on prupose doesnt matter lmao

  • I only know of ONE person who owned one of these Aerocoupe models; what made it unique was the extened rear window that continues the roofline. These cars are VERY rare, and I've ridden in one numerous times!

  • I love these cars, i debated between one of these and a 3rd gen camaro for months, and ended up getting a camaro. I do want to get one of these one day too!

  • 2012 Civic please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • american muscle i want one

  • Its reminds me kind of like an old-school Caddy.

  • Mm, quite a tired car looking for some TLC...I lol'd when the RPM needle went awry. Kyle didn't seem all so happy in this video, though...

  • When I was a teenager you could pick up these cars(maybe not the SS) all day long for in between $800-$1200 in about this condition or so. I owned two of them and they were sweet rides. Now you can't find them anymore because collectors have created a demand for them.. and if you can find one, the owners will typically ask no less than 5g's or so for one that isn't fully restored.

  • hey kyle can u do a 79 monte carlo

  • Thank goodness it's rare lol :o) What an ugly piece of tat :o( LMAO, 5 litres and only 180bhp!!! Only the Americans could make an engine that perfetic lol

  • @RetroGamerVX yeh faggot what were those cars in shitty europe getting during the 80s? does under 100hp ring a bell?

  • Can you please do a tour on the Lancer Evolution X? Or the 2011 Scion tC

  • @ReptileKiiNG I have an evo coming!

  • @saabkyle04 Oh nice!!! Thanks Kyle :D

  • @saabkyle04 evo 9 to please

  • @242DEE I know I have some other evos on here, at least 1 other

  • @saabkyle04 or a skyline gtr or r33

  • @242DEE

Better a Skyline R34... maybe full tuned and imported from Japan! eheheh! :)

  • @cerrystyle hehehe i was gonna say r34 but there so damn hard to import to the us

  • The only Chevrolet I'd ever buy

  • Reminds me GTA san andreas

  • cars of the 80's sucked so bad..

  • lol the rev counter was having a fit

  • funny just saw one of these in my neighborhood...

  • That would look awesome restored..

  • wow the emissions bs in the 80s really killed the power of the V8s

  • Comment removed

  • Are there Nissan primera p12:s in america?

Could u make vid 4 that

  • @MillionKnivesRain no we don't have the Nissan Primera in America- unfortunately :( My family rented one of those when we traveled to the UK- its a nice car

  • The sound of this car is awsome

  • oh shit the rpm gauge is not working

  • Love these cars. Nice video. I'd love you forever if you could find a Camaro of this generation.

  • My family used to have an '87 Monte Carlo.

  • I wish they still had roomy coupes like these.

  • What is the problem with that red Impala?

  • Beautiful car

  • 2011 Scion tc plz

  • I can feel my mullet growing...

  • rpm is dead

  • I think you mean at least 265 lb/ft of torque /:

  • Took me by surprise, that start up. Instant!

  • you should do the little red express truck @ 1:49

  • @surredneck66 I did, search it on the channel, the engine was shot

  • @surredneck66 i have an working restored video of one from an car show on my channel

  • It looks like the RPM Gage is stuck..

  • tach reaches infinite rpm XD

  • very nice find

  • $1500 for it.....since its a aerocoupe ss.....$2500 as is.....the car needs a over haul and restored to bring up the value

  • Hasn't this got front blinkers ?

  • 5 liter v8 with only 180hp ????? American muscle... :DDDDD

  • @dailyforman lol i know right? my old 88 thunderbird 5.0 only put out 165hp/265tq lol isn't that sad?

  • @tbirdsport302 yes, sad. The only thing you can enjoy is the sound..

  • This beast is ugly, nothing nice about, but respect the review and tour of the car.

  • That thing revs negitave -2000

  • i guess the areo coupe has to do with the back window

  • I saw one or two of these when I was little. Thought they were ugly then, and still do. Also, it's creepy haha

  • Wow only 180 HP for a V8 back then, dang, most V8's today have over 300 HP.

  • So awesome!

  • lmao at the RPM gauge

  • "5.0L engine with only 180 hp"

  • INSTANT CLASSIC..

  • the areocoupe and the grand prix 2x2 hard to find

  • its a muscle car ???

  • I don't know if it was mentioned but the tach is not working, great video as always.

  • Nice Monte Carlo! It looks like a Cadillac Eldorado Touring Coupé!

  • Aerocoupe SS was made for the NASCAR race track....GM had to produce a certain number of dealer cars so the body style could be used by NASCAR drivers. It's worth looking at the 1987 Pontiac Grand Prix 2+2.....this car also had the aero back window for NASCAR. It would be cool to get a vid of the Pontiac 2+2, there were far fewer of those made and very hard to find. When I was in high school we had these cars...they weren't very fast but, fun to drive none the less.

  • What happened to the RPM gauge during startup?

  • @brians09challenger yes! that was the term I was trying to think of. Still good cars though, love the 3.3 v6 it runs strong, feels like a V8 with minor additions.

  • Looks like the RPMometer is broken

  • badass car coming from a german car guy.

  • Find any good weed? LOL

  • Best Monte Carlo generation ever. Too bad that wasnt an 86 Aerocoupe Kyle, they only made 200 of them!

  • Lol, the tachs gone mental idling at 9k rpm :p

  • think its good for it to idle around 9k?

  • @vettedude418

It is just broken.. Do you really think this engine on idle was running on 9k rpm ? lol It's working fine.

  • @zetnakatel i was..jokiiinnggg..

  • dang that thing runs at over 6k rpms

  • Funny, I own a 93 Cutlass 4 door, but I can see a lot of the same parts here and there such as interior trim, fabric, and more. I tell ya I love GM (old GM, hate them now), but man they sure did cross over the same stuff for years on many brands. At least for the most part they made them have their own look though.

  • What's wrong with the rpm gauge?

  • @FlammeHead Its probably because its from the worst generation Chevrolets ever

  • WOW an Aerocoupe never seen one of these Monte Carlo's. Nice find Kyle.

  • Nice tach it jumps to 8000 when it starts up.

  • This is a real Monte Carlo SS not those pussy ones they make now.

  • @Tunerboy8732 I agree 100% with you man

  • @Tunerboy8732 They dont make Monte Carlo's now.

  • that body on frame design? or unibody

  • @randomrazr i thought so

whats r opinion on c bodies?

  • I kinda like this car. Nostalgic.

  • do the white neon behind it please when you have time

  • @zach9569 naw homie, u hab to suck his dick first, lol jj

  • My buddy bought a 86 Monte Carlo ss with like 40k original miles off his dad for his first car same colors as this one and same condition. Then he totaled it

  • @randomhero713 how da fuk did he totaled it?

  • @Orc123184 driving in our neighborhood at night, theres this spot were the road ends and picks up again a block later, but there is no sign and he didnt see the drop off into a 3ft deep ditch until it was to late. he hit the breaks but he slid on the dirt road and into the ditch and tore up the front end and bent the frame all to shit. it wasnt an aero coupe though

  • Is it really 51000 original miles though? Seems like it's had a rough life for only that amount of miles. I guess it is still 24 years old though.
