  • I'm just amazed of this much ignorance. Let me explain it to you. Almost everybody gets seriously sick sooner or later in life. When that happens the costs of the treatment are huge. At that time applying for health insurance and starting to pay for that is not enough because it then will never cover the high costs of the treatment. The fact that you pay for health insurance when you are healthy makes it affordable to pay for the enormous costs of hospitalization and surgery once you get sick.

  • I like Mike Adams and I understand and agree with much of what he says. But what if you have an accident? It happens.

  • Taking care of yourself = Real Health Insurance

  • @BTek4

Yes exactly. YOu got it right! When you stop blindly supporting the corportate health insurance companies, you take back control of your own life.

I say we should commit ourselves to re-opening the ideals of mom and pop stores, the local butchers, popcorn vendors, and small localized business. If the Big Corps can profit off the many, why can't we also profit for ourselves?

I work two jobs. The key to making money is simple--just work. Its as easy as that.

  • until we get universal health care this is foolishness. Everyone of you need to move to Canada I fear for your well being. What if you get hit by a car? Eating all the veggies in the world won't help you then.

  • LONG AS WE CAN STOP S-510 FOOD BILL. NICE TKS MJ

  • A healthy lifestyle is not mutually exclusive from health risks. The treatment they cite, miracles, has no validity. There's a bunch of anecdotal evidence, but for each person who survives on the basis of faith and prayer, there are thousands who die.

Ridiculous. If this is the lifestyle they want to lead, that's fine, but unfortunately for them, it's a democracy, not anarchy.

  • This is like saying I don't need car insurance because I'm a great driver.

  • @MadHabber93 No. No, it's nothing like that at all.

  • great video, thank you.

  • They talk this way today, but good diet is no guarantee of lifelong health. All it takes is for one chronic illness and Mr. healthy living will be running to the emergency room so fast it will make your head spin. I almost forgot the part about him sticking all of us with the bill, emergency room visits are not free.

I also how well his healthy diet will serve him when some 18 year old kid with only 32k of coverage runs a red light and his hospital bills run 300k, unforseen events can happen.

  • @Zyworski a chronic illness will only appear if the person is been exposed to junk foods, having a sedentary life, or exposed to other toxins such as chemical cleaners, etc.

  • @Zyworski yeah, you are are right about the unforseen events that can happen. But I still hate going to doctors that the insurance only covers. Some of these doctors suck ass and aren't even top Doctors or Surgeons.

  • Are these guys mentally insane or not really?

  • 132 people are brainwashed

  • What this people do with their life style is great and should be aplouded and imitaded by more of us but bashing in a plan thats design for your safety is like saying "we don't want to pay taxes to pay for the salary of the fire department and their equipment, I've never had my house burn to the ground so why should I care, the same for the police I don't step out of my house and get robbed daily because I make sure I live in a nice area, why pay for their salaries unles its to get a ticket"

  • This is good for some people who are younger, but things happen and you

need to get help. But I agree if you have to pay 1000 a month. If you have

one accident or serious health problem and have to go to the hospital it will

cost you thousands of dollars. But I somewhat agree with you......

  • They make a lot of sense. I have health insurance that I basically don't use because I'm trying to use more natural means (mostly food) to take care of myself. BTW, I'd love to know how that guy doesn't have any gray hairs at 45 years of age!

  • Thank you for your work, Mike. It helps me stick to my own goals in creating the kind of world I want to be part of.

  • I agree.

And what if your child breaks a bone?

I do not have health insurance, but I now have a ton of medical bills due to emergencies.

  • What about catastrophic events? & what if you wind up in the hospital because your were unconscious?

  • So your strategy is to never get sick. I'm not for mandatory health care, but you do need insurance , unless you have so much money you can pay anytime you get ill or get in an accident.

  • Fermented cod liver oil is one of the best things for 'flu season.' Vitamin D3.

  • I've paid health insurance for years and hardly used it. However, I read somewhere that this "massive" health care bill just passed will force us to get vaccinations.

  • A bridge must established between orthodox and unorthodox medicine.

  • We are not ignorant Government people, we can take care of ourselves without your drugs which are only good for generating stepford husbands, wives, and children. You're walking on our toes watch out.

  • I would only like to have catastrophic insurance. I use a doctor all the time, but he's an alternative, A/K guy, who addresses things nutritionally that the MD's would never find or fix. No, I don't want to pay for standard insurance without having coverage for what I have to pay out of pocket for that works that isn't typically covered.

  • @eclectigirl ,

Yeah good idea just to have catastrophic insurance to cover ER from auto accidents, etc.

  • Buying insurance always seemed to me like gambling.

  • Anna I agree with you. The insurance industry is to blame for this. However, if you break a limb, or need stitiches..healthy food won't fix that.

  • I basically agree with this, (I go to a naturopath and pay out of pocket myself) but I think that health insurance is needed for emergencies and things like that. If they get in a car accident their bills will be thousands...

  • There should not be health care INSURANCE. There should just be HEALTH CARE . . for anybody that wants it.

Just like there is no Fire INSURANCE. There is the fire department that goes to wherever it needs to go. There is no Police INSURANCE. The police department does what it needs to.

I believe the INSURANCE industry is what is hiking up the medical costs.

  • I agree with this video. BUT the only reason I want health insurance is for a catastrophic accident like a car accident.

  • Isn't that what auto insurance is for?

  • I totally agree with you. I too am aiming to live that lifestyle. (Find it difficult to avoid sugar though.) Thank you for your inspiration.

  • Oh to be perfect! Unfortunately, there are millions of people who are not and who will die without medical intervention. Yes, we need more transparency about true wellness and natural health, but as it is, most people do not lead pristine lives but can, at least, have a life (albeit an imperfect one) with the availability of affordable medical insurance. Or, as some would have it, we can let them eat cake. Pretty heartless, if you ask me.

  • Hey Mike I am an avid follower of your blog and newsletter, and I can understand eating well and preventing ailments with natural vitamins and raw foods, but how can you not want to protect yourself against accidents like broken limbs or slipping and falling or a random object falling and causing a hospital stay. Surely you would need insurance against that. You don't need vaccines and drugs that they would recommend but you can't deny all the advances of modern medicine can you?

  • Americans pay $1000 a month for health insurance? You're bloody kidding me! In Australia I pay about $700 a year on insurance, and still Australians say that's expensive (mind you we also have a public system as well paid for through our taxes).

  • It is possible, you could be in an accident (like a car accident, sports injury, etc). No matter how good you EAT . . you may need a doctor. When there is a fire . . firemen don't ask "do you have fire insurance?". When there is a crime against you, police don't ask "Do you have police insurance?". We ALL pay for these services. If you get 3rd degree burns in a fire, or fall on ice & break bones, you need years of rehabilitation & therapy, it should just be taken care of, & we should all pay.

  • this is an excellent video and rhymes with everything that i live by. It is important to note, however, in addition to the great points in this video, that an insurance company, when viewed from the eyes of the fat cat shareholders and executives who run it, is nothing more than an investment vehicle: Maximize the monthly premiums coming in - minimize the payouts as much as possible, then take the remaining profits and invest in the markets. Its not about health, its about money and profits.

  • Mike Adams is awesome!

  • Beautiful. This is the very sort of voice I was hoping to hear on this issue. The power to choose is the real issue, but choosing a healthier lifestyle seems to be the obvious choice regardless.

  • Are they for real?

I use to think EXACTLY like these guys, until I lost my job, got in accident and now almost $100k in medical debt.

True, Big Pharma is killing us.

But what if you fall out of tree or get hit by a car?

    Also, ever buy "super foods"?

Sadly, healthy eating consistently is luxury.

Even buying non-organic produce is taxing.

Ever notice the core demographics at a Whole Foods? Needles to say it's not Walmart.

I share their passion for health, but not their elitism or ignorance

  • excellent video, keep up the great work Mike Adams.

  • Amen brother

  • According to a big German study you can reduce your risk of diabetes, coronary heart disease, stroke and cancer by about 80% by following a healthy lifestyle. That still leaves you with a 5% or 1 in 20 chance of getting one of those diseases over the course of 8 years. There are no guarantees of good heath, no matter how many vitamins you take, how much positive thinking you do, or anything else within your control. Life is uncertain and sometimes bad things happen. Best to be prepared, I think.

  • This is so true. We need to educate and stop medicating. Most don't 'know' better, they have been 'educated' by mainstream media all their lives.

  • 30 years ago, they inundated the market with high fructose corn syrup and made everyone sick and unhealthy. Same thing with hydrogenated oil and MSG. These companies should be the ones to pay for the health damages, not the people. Unlike cigarettes, food ingredients don't come with any warnings. People don't know how poisonous some ingredients really are. How MSG can eat through your arteries and HFCS leads to diabetes.

I totally agree with the message in this video. Good job Mike!!

  • Anton and Bristol Irvine Ca haha We used to work in that building!!

  • health insurance is a losing game; just like any other business, insurance companies main job is to make money, so of course theyre not going to do business with someone who they think theyll lose money on, and the libs who think that this is wrong are stupid for even thinking that way. we need real health reform, such as reforming the broken medi-care/aid and other govt health programs that drove up medical costs in this country in the first place...

  • I sock away my needed Vitamin D3 every day just by spending a little time in the sun each day. I walk. I eat healthy. I drink non-flouridated water. I have zero interest in health insurance. It should be a choice, not an obligation.

  • Great Video! Five Stars!

  • i like these guys

  • I agree 100% WE DO NOT NEED MANDATORY HEALTH CARE!!! This is BS they are pulling and it will see the Demo's out of office that is for sure! Not everyone has viable organic foods in their area to eat as you do, but more people need to start growing their own and do what our gov wont do! Ban MONSANTO!!!!

  • There's more to it than what you eat. What if you get hit by a car or something random like that? You need health insurance for that!

  • @Hacky123 that's what catastrophic insurance is (was) for.

  • @Healthysalafee Are you saying that humans have been around for 3 million years?

  • We occupy bodies that heal themselves. So set up the conditions to allow the body to fix itself.

HOW & WHY did we buy into false-health in the first place? Lets all wakeup and put the whitecoats out of business!

I'm American - 13 years without insurance in South Africa - 47 yrs old and healthier than ever.

The best insurance is to learn about Adrenal Fatigue,(J. Wilson), Low-GL diet (P. Holford) and about FRUCTOSE (R. Lustig).

    Sugar: The Bitter Truth

    watch?v=dBnniua6-oM

  • Its about govenment control and how much more the insurance companies and make..these govenment guys are benifiting from this too otherwise they wouldnt approve of it..They could care less about the little guy.

  • I understand that it will be cheaper to pay the fine for not getting the gov't insurance than to pay the hundreds of dollars a month for the mandated insurance. Then, if you get sick, YOUR IN anyway. It's two thirds or more cheaper to just pay the fine.

  • Is not there a middle ground ? what would you do if you broke your arm , legs , neck or ribs ?

I totally get what you are saying.. I am a rawffoodist.. and use homeopathy .

  • Good video...this health insurance in this country USA is a scam...$75.00 for 1 tylenol when you're in hospital...total rippoff

  • The penalty for NOT buying insurance was canceled.

So no one is forcing you to buy health insurance.

But you WILL get cancer or have a car crash or breath coal smoke from the electric plant down the road.

And then you WILL go crying to the hospital. And it will cost us ALL a ton of dough treating you.

  • I (here in Denmark) feel that it is a big thing Obama has done, but more and more, I dont think the insurance will work good, since we here in Denmark have had it for over 50 years. In USA it just come in the middle of everything, if you can understand me hehe... But asfar as ive heard, you had to pay for getting into the hospital before the insurance ?

  • Everyone agrees that prevention is priority #1, but health insurance is still important for those situations when things happen.

I just think if the government decided to focus on prevention and rewarding doctors for keeping people out of the hospitals, that would be worth health coverage. Like if your insurance paid for physical training, nutritionist, health food etc. Then we all would be down--a great compromise.

  • you dont need it your right if your not sick

your 18 just have an job and

brake your back and lose ur job

and your handicaped and you have to pay all those bills and believe me there not cheap..

what your gonno do then eh well nothing ... you get homeless...

  • The only type of insurance I would get is catastrophic. Granted, I would never take any vaccine, but I know people that run around different drug stores to get their flu shots until that pharmacy accepts their insurance despite the vaccine only costs 20 dollars. You think health care is expensive now, just wait a few years. This video makes sense and the message is sound.

  • I understand the point and its a good one. However, how about when during your daily activities, you're hurt and hospitalized for a week? Most people don't have $40,000 on hand for a hospital stay. Would this be a good reason to carry insurance?

  • @FarahWonderland7 dude, the point is you must be FREE to make the choice. It cannot be forced upon people.

not everyone feels comfortable without a health insurance but it´s definetely wrong to force everybody to pay for something some people live very well without

you need to have the right and freedom to make your own decisions

and that´s been slowly taken away from us

  • @vlogprocrastinando well....income tax is "forced upon you", a drivers license is forced upon you if you want to drive, social security payments are forced upon you ......it's the only fair way to do it......make everyone pay. Statistics show that the majority of money spent on health care is in the last years of their life.....everyone would have to pay into the system to build up the pot of funds

  • We are no longer a free society.

  • they've brought into a being a vehicle of "total health suppression", a cradle to early grave model that will keep people in a state of complete subserviance to big pharma and big insurance while destroying our quality of life.

  • Its a sad day and age when parents have to raise they're kids with the full knowledge that the child is going to be a debt slave whether they like it or not, there is no other way to live in the usa without incurring massive debt, too many taxes, fees, insurances, license fees, and legalized corruption, then college loans incurring debt, then if the kid gets hurt, its off to the cleaners in debt again, and when he is grown up it an american nightmare.

  • What if you get into an accident in a car? Lose your home and go bankrupt? Insurance is peace of mind for me and I can get coverage for chiropractors, physiotherapy, acupuncture etc. even if I don't go to the doctor. It also covers part of the cost of a personal trainer when I go to the gym.

Have a look at every other industrialised country and they have basic coverage for everybody.

  • I have rheumatoid arthritis and need meds to function. So I go and pay for my visits every three months. I have no insurance. The doc made a deal with me so I wont have to spend, Ii cannot afford the insurance, but we have a right to our own views on this. I might be happy to not have insurance if healthier but, I think it's horrible people are being forced to have insurance.

  • I know this is just anecdotal, but my grandmother smoked from the time she was 11 till the day she died at 83. My best friends dad got diagnosed with colon cancer and was dead six weeks later. He was very healthy. He was mostly vegetarian and his work was very labor intensive. He was very active right up until the end too. He was 53 when he passed away. Oh yeah, and it's nice that you have the choice to make but a lot of people don't.

  • The other issue with some of their comments is that, say what you will about current medical practices, infant mortality rates have dropped significantly because of current medical practices. People with disabilities receive better care. There has been a lot of good that have come out of modern medicine. I agree that prevention should be more of a priority in this country. Oh, and people coming out of pharmacies are sick; that's why they're going to the pharmacy.

  • Food doesn't cure cancer and while it is true that some behaviors can lead to cancer the biggest cause is genetic. Eating healthy can't keep you from getting an appendicitis or a variety of viruses and diseases. The other part of this is that almost 40 million people live below the poverty line which means that they are struggling to make rent let alone buy organic goji berries. I think these people are out of touch with what the core issue of HC reform is.

  • Ya know, I have private health insurance, because I am still on my parents' plan (I'm 20). However, no one should be forced to have health insurance. If you don't want it, fend for yourself (home medicine, over the counter drugs, etc). The only problem without it is the case of emergencies; but the ER bill would still be less than a year of insurance.

  • And how would these people deal with their child getting a brain tumor?

  • you can thank the outrageously expensive failure that is medicine for providing a convenient pretext for bringing down the nightmare of socialism upon this once free country.

  • I hate to agree, but I do. I live in Canada and very similarly to these people. Good food, healthy lifestyle and never ever get sick. Luckily we have a totally government regulated system so we ALL pay for it in our taxes...a much better system for this kind of health care.

I also agree about the illness thing, I've basically only been to the doctor about 5 times in my entire life and those times were for critical injuries. I do like it being there though.

  • I rarely ever had to go to the doctor, or have vaccinations, or ever take sick days. Why you may ask? Most the food I eat is home cooked, and I drink purified water, and wash my hands 3-4 times a day.

  • great vid.

now we have to find out why the Health Ranger thinks tofu, soy milk, and soy protein isolate is health food.

    google Honest Food Guide

  • and/or greedy; You truly don't believe in freedom.

  • It's not that I don't want Health Insurance; It's that I don't like something like this being forced on me. Ultimately, no one should be forced to do anything they don't want or want to do for the matter. This is a free country isn't it? I can make my own choices meaning I am accepting any consequences of my own choices. I don't have Health Insurance and don't plan on accepting Health care even with this bill signed in to law. I take care of myself and for those who say that's being selfish...

  • i would take 500 dollars a month over a huge medical bill for a coma as hight as a million dollars

  • You people are selfish and naive. That's great that you buy superfoods and clearly smoke pot, but it doesn't mean that you won't have health problems when you're older. My dad was very very healthy and fit, and when he was 24 he had an intestinal blockage--nothing he did caused this. He had to have emergency surgery and would have died without it. The whole procedure cost him $75,000; luckily he had health insurance. Think about other people and not just yourselves. There's more than just you.

  • OMG amazing video... 5 stars! :D

My family dont have health insurance.. and they all healthy. EDUCATION YOURSELF!! ITS SO SIMPLE TO LIVE HEALTHY. READ Alternative nutrition books they have all the answers. Theres are cures for canc3r, di3bities and many others.. the drug industry doesn't want u know the truth.. they don't care about your health. ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. watch the movie "food matter" it will open your eyes a little bit. (:

  • " by sick care corporations and nutritionally illiterate lawmakers."

Now its about to be signed into the ownership under the federal government so you don't have to worry about that.

  • many people in my country don't have health insurance

  • I hope you realize you are lucky not to be or get sick..

With all the disease out there everywhere, u r very lucky.

If you get sick, it wont take long before you are completely OUT of MONEY to pay for your health. I think everyone should have insurance so they can get help when they need it.

Trust me when you are older you will change ur mind.

If you are out and you get HURT by someone else, you will want the doctor to take care of you. Or hurt yourself, break a leg, or whatever. last to laugh

  • I agree that people shouldn't be forced to pay for health insurance but I think both parties are making generalizations about the other one. Herbs and early rest wont cure every ailment in the world. Just wait till they get Cancer.

  • I always have eaten healthy and I still do. I drink 100% juice, I eat fresh organic fruits and vegetables. I eat at high class restaurants and I never buy garbage food like hot dogs. I drink acai berry. I still got leukemia and I did not have any health insurance so I pulled my resources and just made the federal pay using medicaid because I feel I deserved to be covered when I paid lots of money into the system.

  • I didnt have Insurance my whole childhood--and some how I survived--Sure a few broken bones, but didnt have to have ins to have them set--this is nothing more than more fed gvt control..The drones dont get it..Does a brownshirt come with that vaccination?

  • well since I am going to get a bone marrow transplant I need Cover Colorado medical insurance. this really does cost me $330 a month for a 400 thousand treatment or more plus other out of pocket insurance, but after that I can not afford health insurance.

  • @GretaMKaveny the new Heath Care Bill gets rid of Lifetime limits, so insurance companies cant cut you off after you reach some magical number in regards to your treatment.

  • Under this new Healthcare Bill You will be fined and or imprisoned for not having it!

  • i never thought of it that way... great points.

  • that Jonathan needs health insurance...

  • Younger/somewhat younger people 18-40 should not be forced to buy health insurance, it's a forced windfall for the insurance companies, as a step on the way to destroying the industry and replacing it with IRS care.

  • @RuflessRecords - its a forced winfall for all of the citizens.

Do you know what costs us so much for premiums in insurance?

The uninsured. When they get treatment the costs is passed onto us as they generally don't pay their $5000-$10,000+ emergency room bill.

It's just like stealing. If you shop at a store that is robbed all the time you will be paying more for the goods to re-coup the loss.

People need to STOP BEING STUPID AND THINK!!!

  • One of the things that drives the cost of health care up is the fact that insurance companies have investors! You can buy shares! We all know that people don't invest in something that's not making money. With what a ride in an ambulance costs, or a night in the hospital? They should be getting ALL of their money from patients! Oh, and the health insurance industry is a rip off in itself!

  • The message here is that in the old USA you would have choice. In today's USA, the government has made that choice for you.

  • Freedom is going down the tube ,bit by bit and no one will miss it when it's gone... Big brother will make all your decisions for you.

  • People figure that if you make less than $200,000 individually than you don't pay taxes so they're greedily for the healthcare. You know the Income tax was sold to America 2 generations ago as a tax on the rich...then the tax fell to the poor.

Those rich people employ you with a job. You might be the one less person they hire.

Also since...it will be forced...a forced vaccine will come to...then a forced RFID chip...cause you need to follow your insurance policy or face a tax.

    Obama is deadly.

  • not everyone as as lucky as these people

  • Realy Great Video ! I totaly agree

  • However , I think that most everyone wants to be healthy and take personal responsibility for there health But , they may not be at that level yet and i personaly am willing to support them

  • Wow, congratulations. Too bad I left my medals in the trunk of my car.

  • Keep spreading the truth Mike. One of the first things people ask when they call my office is "do you take my insurance?". And of course our answer is no. We're actually trying to correct their problems. Insurance never seems to pay for anything that works.

  • That's great for you guys, but under Universal Health Care, you wouldn't have to pay unless you made over maybe 500,000 dollars a year.

  • Of course. The sick just need to eat better and take less medicine, and the poor just need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and get jobs. The only thing this video has proven to me is that there can be just as much destructive naiveté in one political / social group as another. What a perfect world we could live in, if it were one so simple and devoid of compassion...

  • For Cancer: Essiac tea, Gerson, a whole host of natural ways

  • There's a big difference in a real health care system and insurance coverage. Insurance is a total rip off: we pay too much for what we don't need when we don't need it. OTOH, real healthcare provides the education, preventive and alternative care, and IF an emergency occurs, the drugs & surgery we need, but only when we need them.

Look at every other major country with socialized healthcare: technology is just as good and better distributed, populations healthier and they spend less per capita.

  • I choose to not buy health insurance b/c the things I do are not covered: general health maintenance: massage and colonics - not covered. For pregnancy, I would choose a doula and midwife team, who work with the natural birthing process, along with Hypnobabies or similar program, and have baby in warm water at home. Any thing else--emergencies, dental--I'm willing to pay cash, credit, or on install. Why take away my choice for natural care??

  • hahah, "only in America". I have it, and I'm use it and I'm happy with it. luckily, I do not live in the US!

  • My husband and I couldn't afford insurance for years and am thankful that hard work has gotten us into a job that provides affordable, good health insurance.. We need to make insurance an option for both sides. Those that don't want it shouldn't have to have it and those who want it but can't afford it should have something available. So although I disagree with their choice for myself, we need to respect their right to make that decision.

  • If drugs and surgery were the answer, the problem would have been solved by now. Rock on Mike! Thanks for fighting the good fight!!!

  • Healthy people buy insurance because the risk of a huge bill for a catastrophic injury outweighs the certain cost of a premium. It is supposed to work that way.

  • All the healthy living in the world can't protect a person from getting seriously injured in a car crash, or the thousands of illnesses which are not the result of an unhealthy lifestyle. If you're in a car crash the treatment which health insurance provides is effective and all natural: Staying in a cast until your bones heal themselves, then some physiotherapy. Don't insult modern medicine when you know so little about it.

  • I couldn't agree more about the disease part of Health Insurance. But you are omitting emergency care for accidents and what not.

  • and then a car hits you

  • It's not about health; it's about controlling the populace.

They will be killing the vitamin, organic/indy farming, and nano silver businesses next. Well water on your own land will be regulated "for the good of all."

It's a Brave New World coming for you and your family and friends.

There is only one way out of this spirit of antichrist descending upon the whole world: Jesus Christ, Lord of lords.

  • Hi Mike,

I agree with everything said, however what happens if you break a leg? Does your system still cover you? I heard about a young boy (approx 3 years old) in the USA that spent 3 weeks in hospital after a car accident. His mother only finished paying off the bill recently and the boy's now a teenager.

Doctors and hospitals are good with accidents, trauma and diagnosis, but I wouldn't want to go to them for long term 'health' care.

  • I haven't been in a car accident in years so I'm going to stop paying for car insurance.

  • Terrible analogy

When you buy a car your making the Decision to take on all the responsibilities to buy car insurance, registration etc. If you don't want car insurance take the bus. If you don't drive a car should you pay insurance anyways??

  • cave men didnt need insurance just saying :)

  • @speed1ng cavemen died at 35 and had a 75% infant mortality rate. And even they cooked their food. get real

  • You've got statistics on cavemen?!

  • Well now you will get health insurance or go to jail. God Bless America.

  • lol, is this a joke??? :)

  • We also pay for school, roads, police, the army, all sorts of things we dont "need".

  • what you don't realize is that everyone can get cancer, no matter how healthy you are.

  • It's also frustrating to go to a doctor and I am smarter than him! I know the treatment I need and he second-guesses me with things I don't have symptoms for. Doctors are so stupid when it comes to nutrition, understanding underlying causes. They are infamous for misdiagnosing. You go to 10 different doctors, you get 10 different diagnoses. There is no consensus in the medical industry - why trust an overpriced scam?

  • Is the dude in the yellow sweater awared that the 70's ended 30 years ago? Hilarious, I was going to ask what they would think about insurance if a car plowed into them while they were making this video, but somebody beat me to it. I don't know why, but I want to know what these people do for a living.

  • I am all for the Health Care Reform Bill. Also, I believe in natural healh and healing. however, there will come a time, when each of you May sincerely need the Health Care Reform Bill. never say never! Read the Health Care Reform Bill and stop listening to those who truly DO NOT KNOW. Find out the truth for yourself! TRUTH REMOVES ILLUSIONS. perhaps, those who are not for the Health Care Reform Bill only need more information. Peace!

  • i am sorry but these people are stupid! "i take care of myself, i eat right" so i guess every cancer and leukemia patient deserves to be sick because they forgot about carrots. making the point that you don't want to be ensured because you don't see the need for it is alright. but don't spread this nonsensens that everybody suffering from a fatal disease brought i on themselfs.

  • You say all these things now, come and talk to me again if (and by no means do I wish this upon you) a sudden and tragic health concern arises. You will wish you had and will be thankful that this bill covers you if that time ever comes.

Even if you are on a perfect diet and take all precautions possible to insure your health, complications beyond your control can still arise.

  • Americans are some of the world's most malnourished people- on time changing their automobile with the best oil as opposed to treating their own bodies with the same respect...

  • I don't agree with this viewpoint, but I can see where you're coming from.

It definitely works on a small scale, maybe even community size, but national I don't think its feasible.

  • Guessing that the woman talking about her baby delivered said child without the slightest aid in prenatal care, or check-ups and had a mid-wife deliver it in a sparkling pool of spring water... I'm glad that nothing went wrong in the process, as there a myriad of natural possibilities that could have...

  • PROBLEM: A PATIENT CURED IS A CUSTOMER LOST!! Modern pharmaceutical companies know this, it isn't in their economic interest to cure you!

SOLUTION: A healthcare system in which Doctors are paid only when you are healthy!!

A HEALTHY PATIENT A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!... Every body wins

  • Case & point, avoid drugs & use the current medical system for physical treatment, such as physical therapy & physical checkups.

  • @veganath // This is how it is in China and in a way should be for many places in the world.

personally, if i'm feeling sick i drink two cups of tea with honey and lemon, take two multivitamins and drink a gallon of gatoraide and sweat it out in my sleep. i feel worlds better when i wake up the next day and take a hot shower to make it even that much better. works every time for me.

  • its all good until a car hits you while youre making this video and bills rack up instantly. we need a system that covers 'accidents' and surprise traumas' while also rewards people like this who shouldn't have to pay for care they ultimately will never need. go vegan! say no to vaccines = staying healthy :D

  • Yeah, so you pay insurance for a lifetime... 500 or so a month... for one time you go the hospital that cost 5,000. It doesn't add up.

I don't have health insurance cause it cost more to have it than to just pay the fee at the doctor when I go once a year.

  • @Fatal616 I agree completely and was thinking the exact thing as I watched them walking and talking about eating healthy. What does that do when you are in an car accident or slip on some ice in the winter and hit your head with swelling on your brain, or your baby is born with some physical or mental challenges. I am all for a healthy lifestyle, but yes we do need something that cover those catastropy situations.

  • it doesnt matter what kind of habbits you do and dont have that determines whether or not you have medical problems. Genetics are the main factor in disease. You cannot control what genetic diseases you get. Unless you claim something supernatural and can change your DNA.

  • i can change my DNA without changing it .

  • you CAN change your DNA! Very interesting books, "biology of belief" and "spontaneous evolution" by Bruce Lipton PhD Biology research, also I think he has videos here

  • @803brando

Genetics is NOT the cause of disease, it certainly sets the precedence for disease if the lifestyle and the diet continue to support the mutated gene. However, just because there is cancer in your family, if you live a cancer free diet and lifestyle, that gene will be recessant and not kick in. You are not limited to your DNA, your mind, your consciousness and your lifestyle are choices within your control. Prevention is the key to avoiding dis-ease.

  • First of all, the health care tax was not passed for one person. It was passed because we need to take care of people who can't otherwise afford health care. I'm a college student who can't hardly afford groceries, and I for one would not like to pay out of pocket for a surgery...would you?

  • So, you think someone else should pay for it?

  • I'm a college student who doesn't want health insurance. So why now am I forced to pay for it for me AND others now?

If you don't pay you are fined. The government is forcing me to do something against my will. This is not a republic.

  • You guys most be in "paradise" or a perfect world, Get a "real job" where you are exposed to a lot of risks and injuries... after that make again your video... I wonder what you do for living that keep you so healthy...

  • allopathic dr's couldnt treat me . i have medicare and they dont cover my dr'. visit's even .forget supplements lol. told i would die in 3 years from msa 03 .and hear i sit without the help of allopathic dr's .I took my life back doing just what they said . i have phenol poisening induced msa . enough chemicals ,lmao.

lifes more than wishing to sit up and wish death on yourself . This isurance deal is a crime !

  • oh god...

  • oh god...

  • I have mixed feelings about this. I agree that you don't need health insurance for routine care or for staying healthy, but if, God forbid, you are seriously injured in an accident or some other catastrophic situation, you should probably have some type of coverage. To brag about how healthy you are is tempting fate a little.

  • Yeah, vaccines never helped anyone, I guess except to virtually eliminate smallpox, polio, and major childhood illnesses. Surgery, never helped anyone either, except for people wounded in car accidents, people with cancer, or other trauma. These people without insurance who can afford it are counting on the fact if anything major happens to them, no hospital will deny care because they can't pay. In other words, we will pay for it.

  • It's irresponsible to tell people not to get healthcare. Good food, even really good food is not gonna keep you from not falling down the stairs, getting in a car accident with extended health costs.

SUPER FOOD MAKES YOU IMMUNE TO DAMAGE, FACT.

  • When I was the victim of a a hit and run, I was pretty glad to have had health insurance to cover the over 100,000 dollars in medical bills I would have had to pay for the three surgeries, copious amounts of painkillers, metal plates, and metal rod that were needed to put me back together.

It's all fine and dandy if you feel you can get by with natural cures, but no amount of eastern medicine or new age spirit healing will heal a shattered femur.

  • So is it possible to take out accident insurance, if, like these people, you wouldn't use the other services on offer?
