@danyboy845 Merci d'avoir répondu. Moi non plus je ne connais pas tous ses morceaux, un de mes préféré est "Nothing to Fear" Album "God's Great Banana Skin". Je l'ai rencontré lors d'un concert à la "Cigale" à Paris. Il est très sympa, il s'est fait photographier avec des fans, dommage je n'avais pas mon appareil photos, c'était une très belle soirée!!! Bonne journée et à bientôt.

Thanks for the post. Chris Rea has been making original and fantastic music for a long time. It is obvious his heart has been broken..this is why his music resonates with some...
@noctumz I don't think his heart is broken. He is happily married with 2 daughters. I think, like Richard Marx, he is very soulful. I'm sure he's seen plenty of tragedy as well. Their always is in the music industry (drugs, sex, and music). They beget overdoes, missery, death, unhappiness. Health wise Chris has been through the ringer. Pancreatic Cancer plus 2 or 3 more times he was hospitalized with life threatening situations.

Most of his soulfulness comes from his 10+ years time frame where he almost died 3 times, lost body parts, much time with illness & pain. Hence "Stoney Road". But he's a fighter, he came through strong & fighting. Watch the interview "Frost over the World" with Chris Rea. That may help you understand the man & his music better. One of best slide guitarist alive today.
Underappreciated, underrated and under exposed in the U.S. Only in Europe & Russia is the man Chris Rea truly appreciated. Our loss; your gain

Absolutely LOVE this track and it reaches it's zenith for me beginning at the 2:26 mark :-) It's what i call ear candy.
