I've got a 6 GB ram on my laptop (mac OS X Snow Leopard) - and I'm quite curious about getting Windows 7 running on it aswell. RAM is very essential for my work, and I want to know if the Parallels will split my ram, and limit my performance to whatever I decide to split it up to, each. If I'm goin 2GB mac, and 4 GB windows, will my mac only be able to run performance matching 2GB RAM?

@KRossing91 why dont you split 1:1? meaning 3gb each? but 2gb for mac should be enough unless you use adobe programs or such.

@Skychkl I do:) I work in Adobe and Autodesk aswell as any other visualizing programs. RAM is everything :)

its a 2011 MBP 13". I have 384mb cram i think, but i used 256 on windows 7 virtualized.
