@nothingnessish Fresh juice is known to give SuperMan like abilities, I suppose :-) Yes! This can handle carrot-type items. That being said, it isn't made for them. It's forte is leafy greens (spinach, kale, wheatgrass and the like). If you are going to be doing carrots and such then I might suggest the Healthy Juicer Electric, as it has a separate auger specifically for those types of items...and will make your life that much easier.

Have you ever used this juicer as a tincture press? I'm wondering how well it would work. Suggestions?

@jstein814 We have never used it for this purpose - so couldn't really comment on if it would work well or not. Sorry! It definitely wasn't designed with this in mind, but could be a function.
