Hi, is the "Not Your Grandmothers Flower Garden" done in the same way? I want to get the book and relevant ruler but first want to make sure it's done in the same way. Is there any chance you could upload a video on that please? Your videos are so great and easy to see and understand. Thank you
I would like to use mexican flag colors of red, green, and white for a tumbling block quilt any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. this video makes this task a easy pleasure.
@QVOGATA You can use the white for the top, and select a very dark red or green and then pick the other to be a medium. In the book, I have an example that is a placemat done in these colors and quilted to look like Christmas presents. Hopefully this will help.
It's so refreshing to view a quilting video from someone who not only knows how to quilt, but also someone who knows how to TEACH. I'll be you have a teaching background along with your love of quilting. Thank you!
Thank you for this video. I have been studying tumbling blocks lately. Halfway through this, i could see how this would save me time and give me so much creativity. It was great.
Oh my I was going to be making a quiltr and ended up with a very small wall hanging and had to stop due to the night~ mare... I am really going to be trying this for sure... thanks Wendi
how many yards of material would I need if I was making this quilt. I want to make a queen size quilt with three different colors (three sets of dark, medium and blue).
Thank you so much for watching our video on Strip-Pieced Tumbling Blocks. Please watch for our new book called ABC 3-D available this spring that will have yardages and several new patterns for Tumbling Blocks. Happy Quilting!
Watch the 2 parts of Oh My Stars to see how to make the stars around the border of the Star of David pattern. I'll put together another video for the center star.
Thank you for watching the video. Currently the book is out of print but we have created a supplement pattern we sell in "Big Book of Building Block Quilts" you can order at our website or you can fill out a contact us request and we can notify you when our new Tumbling Block book comes out this fall! It will be a great book! Thank you!
Woah. Every time I see a video like this, my mind is blown. It's so easy to fool the human eye!

What size of Clearview ruler do you use?

@t02b2010 8", 10" or 12" will all work. I recommend the 10" if you haven't purchased one already. It is more versatile, yet not too big.
