Scientology doesn't attrack smart enough members, and they rely on legalistic tactics defense. It's a cult religion.

I've read most of his pulp stories, tech vols, green vols, Sea Org writings, private writings, final years traffic, in my 27 years in the Sea Org. My conclusion, the harshest critics are right. "The Varieties of Religious Experience." read it, and you'll find Hubbard does merit typical religion sect founder status. Upgrade you defense!

For context, showing Hubbard fits the mentally oddball "religion founder" model quite traditionally, is all. "Varieties of Religious Experiece" also free audio at Libravox, so you can listen to it, chapter by chapter.
