  • The vast majority of politicians are narcissists or sociopaths.

  • She's crazy like Fox News.

  • Our President fits the description, also.

  • No she is not a narcissist. Calling her that is a fucking compliment. She is just deluded and stupid beyond measure...

  • All politicians are narcissists, it's a job requirement. Palin is just a little more delusional than her collegues & not very bright. The republican party is guilty for fueling her delusional grandiosity by selecting her as a vp candidate. What were they thinking? It be awesome to lock Palin & Ann Coulter in a room together. Pure entertainment watching 2 queens of narcissism rip each other apart!!!

  • OF COURSE!

  • Judging by the DSM definitions, most seem like criteria to become the president. Well, i know Biden had a dose of humility.

  • This is rubbish. If you just look at the bullets points of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, you can peg any jerk as a narcissist. You need to read the psychology books in depth.

  • @LordBifford Correct. I pegged castrating Sarah as a sociopath two minutes into her introductory RNC speech in '08 and I was correct. And I've read lots and lots of psychology books in depth. Lots.

  • I think it was ADD

  • Of course. I've never seen an ego as big as hers.

  • All politicians are narcissistic. Even every person who goes on TV to talk about her is narcissistic.

  • @LiberalViewer

I enjoy your videos a great deal, but your attempted evaluation of Narcissistic Personality Disorder has a catastrophic, fatal flaw. In the DSM-IV-TR on the page where you found the criteria you should have looked just above on that very page where it clearly indicates that it can only be considered a disorder if the "traits are inflexible, maladaptive, and persisting and cause significant functional impairment or subjective distress," (p717). V71.09 No Diagnosis on Axis II.

  • She's so stupid she had to have her father work the bolt action on her hunting rifle to reload and this all happened on TV >.> Mama Grizzly seems to weak and lost to protect her kids.

  • NPD, definitely.

  • is she the greatest threat to this planet that exists today?

  • I'd say she's narcissistic. But that's what makes her so popular. Many Americans can easily fall in that category. Fox news caters to those people.

  • The words "stroke of genius" and "Sarah Pallin" in the same sentence made me laugh. Funniest thing I've heard all day.

  • I think she does have a hyper-regard for herself. I think she honestly thinks that leaving the Governorship was a good move (she just had to get away from all those small people from that big state). I think she is not very bright. I think she does what she does to keep the attention on herself, and I think she would have made a great religious leader, duping the gullible and reaping the rewards commensurate with convincing people to be slaves.

  • it's nice to revisit the early days of insanity.

  • @CO2Junkie The right to bear arms is considered by most people not to include nuclear warheads. As you can see, the Constitution has always been in need & will always be in need, of interpretation.

Being open to interpretation, the limits that are inferred by the Constitution, will change over time. So thinking of the Constitution as being carved in stone… would be inaccurate. The Constitution is subject to cultural & socioeconomic evolution. Sorry. It might not be ideal, but that’s reality.

  • Well lets see, the less than marginally intelligent folks - ok stupid folks voted for Bubba Bush another stupid politician. I predict the stupid people that voted for bush will again vote for stupid Palin - Everyone, brace yourself for President Palin - I hope I will be dead when that happens

  • @70sRob If 2012 is true, then you'll get your wish. As for me, I'd rather take advantage of my future dual-citizenship.

  • The best joke ever that involved her, was in south park where she was only pretending to act stupid to distract everyone from their actual goal (stealing the hope diamond). Its funny because she really is THAT stupid. Every time I see her dumb ass on TV I wanna puke!

  • smug, narcissistic rockstar. i mean her and her family have TV shows. interestingly exactly what she accuses obama of being. like she on one giant psychological projection trip.

  • Who cares if she's a narcissist, she's just f------g stupid, to a biblical extent.

    Literally.

  • I just find her really smug.

  • Sarah Palin use to fart out my semen.

  • I think that Sarah Palin is Narcissistic but so are many politicians. You say that being a politician isn't about narcissism but thats what it has became... Look at me, I'm attractive and can speak well. I know what people want, I am the voice of the majority, my beliefs are others' beliefs. I know what's best. People come to watch me talk, people listen to every word I say. My word is gospel, my word is above reproach. This nation has become sheep. Most people dont think for themselves

  • Hind sight is 20/20 ah? You want to know why the neocons liked her so much? Because they saw themselves in her. I tend to agree. For most do not see an elected official is a public servant or that their job and the governments is to serve the people, but as a path to wealth and power. Once the argument was if the government policy should be lazy-fair or reactive Now the argument is has be spun by payed liars and influence peddlers (lobbyist and P.R. firms) in to numerous faux dilemmas.

  • It is early 2011 and Palin has lost a lot of ground among very conservative Republicans, and is now obscure and a joke among the general public.

  • 85 narcissists watched this video!

  • I remember when I used to consider myself republican mainly because my family was. I stupidly jumped on the bandwagon with my republican friends and families (I’ve only lived in Montana and Texas). Then I actually started watching politics and news because I was growing up and started caring about politics. Then I was embarrassed that I ignorantly called myself one. I affiliated myself with a party that I knew nothing about. At least at that age I was too young to vote.

  • She is crazy like Fox News.

  • Arent narcissists usually have above average intelligence? I think we can all agree she does not have.. I think she is just greedy for money...

  • @Victius6 Actually the narcissists is usually of very average intelligence and skills it is the delusion that they are above average that is a huge drive in their anti-social behavior.

  • i think knowing whether or not she is a textbook narcissist would require knowing her personally, however, based on her public behavior, it definitely seems to be a possibility

  • The answer is YES.

  • You have too much time on your hands why don't you actually do something about those things you progressives keep bitching about.

  • @screwinalightbulb Like reducing the spending spree, getting a Muslim out of the White House, and going back to 1960?

  • Politicians (Democrat and Republican alike), celebrities, and news/radio hosts are overwhelmingly narcissistic. Romney, Palin, McCain, Obama, Clinton, Pelosi... All are clearly narcissistic to varying degrees. One almost has to be a narcissist in order to think that they can legislate improvements in our lives.

  • She is by far the worst, and the most ignorant politician in America today.

  • @Flipstick96 I would agree with that, but shes not a politician, shes a celebrity. She was a mayor of a tiny town for 6 years and she was a governor of alaska who had to quit cause she couldn't handle the job... calling her a politician is giving her too much credit.

  • @Flipstick96 worst politician of all time

  • @Flipstick96 well either her or michelle bachman...both are facist and stupid to the core.

  • @Flipstick96 She doesn't even deserve to be referred to as a politician. She's just some woman.

  • @matrixate You speak of politicians like they've ever been anything special.

  • If she isn't, then her campaign department/marketing team/whatever its called needs to tone it down. It hurts my brain.

  • Yup, that confirms it, she's a retard. xD

  • I don't care what she is! To me shes only an idiot...

  • @PivotSweden To any normal intelligent rational thinking person, she is an idiot. In fact, only idiots think that she is not an idiot.

  • @a1mint well im certainly impressed! :) waht do you do for a living? id really like to kno? i sure do envy you, im working on my P.H.D in Psychology, and kann honestly admit that i would not be fit to diagnose ANYBODY without meeting them, to many uncertain's to account for, in fakt NONE of the other Psychologists i kno and/or hav met would ever diagnose a person without meeting them, as it would be highly unethical. but you sure beat everybody i kno! :) i admit my self most impressed :)

  • @LeonSkottKennedey Trying to disqualify what's otherwise obvious, isn't going to work. The traits I've listed fit like a glove. You can dance around these facts until the cows come home.

These traits show in her personality left and right.

    Sarah Palin is a narcissist.

  • @a1mint so waht do you do for a living? really honestly i WOULD LOVE to kno, i mean your able to diagnose people after watching a video whose run was less then 5 minutes, your amazing if you really kno how to better understand diagnosing then people who DO IT FOR A LIVING. I am 100% serious in my admiration of you, if you make good money, so tell mi waht do you do for a living? und waht degree or level of training do you have in Psychology?

  • @LeonSkottKennedey Diagnose diagschmose. The traits fit her. She fits the mold.

So why does that upset you?

  • @a1mint it does not upset me waht problems she may or may not have, waht upsets me are people who just presume to go around and diagnose others with little or no understanding of waht it really takes to be making that diagnoses. she could be full of herself, which still wouldn't make her a Narcissist, as with waht i have been trying to explain to you is that somebody KANN match ALL of those traits ALL OF THEM and still NOT be a Narcissist, its more then just the traits.

  • @ryanjames731 that somebody would attempt to get others(who have no training) to make a diagnosis of somebody they'll likely never meet. this is one thing i hate about peoples "understanding" of Psychology, that they seem to think you kann just pick up a book and say "oh this person has this", waht i find to be the most disturbing is the fakt that they completely miss the part that says "not better accounted for by-" or that these behaviours are mall adaptive and cause distress :)

  • @ryanjames731 very well said :) we do all have traits of the PD's, i had found that funny in the video as well, when he said something along the lines of "to date NPD has never interfered with a successful Political carrier" i found that to be interesting as the DSM i own does say waht you pointed out that it has to cause impairment or despair in ones social funktioning, academic or work life, which is funny since that would be contradicting to this guys video :) i found it to be a bit "wrong"

  • @LeonSkottKennedey Very wrong

  • @a1mint your so right! but if i could trouble you as to waht degree in Psychology you have? :)

  • @LeonSkottKennedey I am working on licensing as a therapist. I will have my LMFT.

  • @ryanjames731 nice :) i hope you find it rewarding :)

  • So Palin is the only person in the world that you know of that fits (Narcissist)

Bill Clinton come to mind? Obama? We and we often see our selves in others.

  • This video really sheds light on her behavior. I thought maybe she was just a mean person, maybe I was wrong. I hope she gets some help.

  • She is certifiable. And not all politicians are like that. I see compassion and true leadership even massive restraint from Obama; it is obvious. With Palin i see a little princess who believes she is entitled to everything she can get her greedy lying fingers on.

To those who would defend her. Quiting a leadership role is hardly patriotic. It's the most obvious sign of weakness available. Just ask CHICAGO BEARS fans.

Spin it anyway you want. No one wants a quitter in the white house.

  • shes crazy like a narcissistic fox...with down syndrome..

  • She's crazy like fukwit.

  • i guess she fits the diagnosis but i would point out that a lot of suscessful politicans and business leaders are sociopaths. The nature of politics and business self-select these pesonality types. i'd be wary of using a checklist to diagnose.she does appear educationally and intellectually limited to a significant degree and i'd say that is far more of a bar to high office.

  • She does not fit fit narcissist personality... Theses are not the traits of Sarah Palin, how can you say this when I think you have been listen to her and not the people who fear her... only then will you know, unless you are one those fear her.

  • @davieskidmore I can't think of one single person that does matches the definition of a narcissist better than Sarah Palin does. In fact, they should place her picture besides the entry in the dictionary.

  • difficult to believe that somebody GENUINELY (and i cant emphasize this enough) has this disorder would quite a job of "Prestige" such as being a famous politician. Many people are full of themselves, or have a large Ego, many people dream about success, yet those things dont qualify an individual as having NPD. I would think it better to consult with at least 2 active Psychologists or Therapists before doing a "self diagnosis".

  • Its very sad to think that somebody would think they can pick up the DSM and just assume to diagnose another individual without any training of Psychology, there are various other things that could better account for her behaviour, it Takes a Psychologist to make this diagnosis NOT a magazine editor/interviewer/writer ect, Narcissism goes well beyond "full of ones self". i know people with ACTUAL Personality Disorders, and it takes time to make such a Diagnosis, as well i would find it

  • @LeonSkottKennedey Bla bla bla, you can read can't you? You can go through each trait described in the definition and clearly see that each and every one of those traits match her like a glove can't you?

  • @LeonSkottKennedey ►BENZIN

  • Wow, I'm a naracissist. Awesome!

  • I'd say Sarah Palin is a bit of a narcissist. She does seem full of herself, and the fact that she's maintained that, "Hockey mom from Alaska," image, shows she just likes the attention, in my honest opinion.

  • It was probably a stroke of genius, not least because there's evidence that she's being groomed for leadership, therefore the decision was not hers, but based on advice from those wishing/intending to run her in the future. Taking her out of the political firing line [& therefore failing line] early gives her time to 'smarten up' [get trained to be a right sponsored presidential candidate, and for the public to forget what a colossal idiot she really is. Conspiracies are based on past behaviour.

  • @G58 That's why in every interactive encounter with Sarah Palin where she isn't parroting back a prepped speech, she sounds like a total in our face super moron. Each and every time.

  • definatly shes a sociopath,I believe if she thought she could get away with it shed kill an opponent ,look up Byron looper Palin reminds me of him in many ways definatly a narcissist and possibly a dangerous personality as well

  • She's crazy like a fox news reporter.......

  • Sociopath

  • At this stage in the game, does the office of the American President even have any honor left? Bush = unmitigated disaster, Obama = unmitigated disaster. After these two, there is literally NOBODY on earth who could bring "shame" to the office of American President. She would suck as a president, but it seems like sucking just goes with the territory these days. She'd be just the latest in a line of suck-sidents. Democrat, Republican--all the same. There is no difference between the two anymore

  • Her 'blood libel' adress uses the 'I' word a lot - classic red flay for NPD

  • Wow! I just checked the DSM criteria and she nails it in my opinion. She's as pathological as they come.

  • 2012- The year the Mayans predicted Sarah Paln would become president.

  • When running for something, it's very easy for a politician to LOOK like a narcissist, especially when life is high-tension, full of the need to defend one's self.

Defensive statements - such as that Palin probably needs to make a LOT - can easily sound overly self-confident, and lacking in empathy for those who oppose your views. This perception can also be a side-effect of showing the "tough woman" personality.

(note: I'm just stating possibilities. I don't follow Palin enough to judge)

  • I frankly don't like her comparing herself to Reagan, it is a disgrace and delusional. She ain't no damn Reagan at all, she's dreaming too much. Reagan was a good talker and debater, she just likes to talk and argue.

I like Sarah, she is the nice and sweet girl next door that every time you go outside and see her, you wanna present yourself as a gentleman.

  • I can guarantee you this...she tries too hard, way too hard. I do believe she surrounds herself with followers so much that all she hears is the good things about her. The problem is also that some of her followers see her as another Obama and that quite frankly, is weird and unorthodox.

  • Na! She's just just living the "American Dream."

  • @theantiismist

So, only you posting is legitimate, responding to you is craving for attention, disagreeing with you is narcissistic.

You certainly are the main attraction of your own little circus.

  • @theantiismist

The point being that the only thing you knew about me when you "diagnosed" me (based on a 3-sentence post, I might add) was that I disagreed with you. Could this be some sort of projection at work here?

  • @theantiismist

So, opposing your point of view is equivalent to narcissism...

This has been interesting. And revealing.

  • @theantiismist

The funny thing is that all your speculations about me are based on a single post. Seems YOU are overly confident in you opinion, honey.

  • @theantiismist

Well, if Doogie Howser says so...

  • @theantiismist

And you determined this based on a question? You are a diagnostic wonder...

  • @theantiismist

    What a thoughtful analysis...

What exactly is "vague" about those terms? The fact that you don't like the description?

  • Sarah Palin isn't crazy like a fox, she's crazy like a crackwhore.

  • Palin is definitely a Narcissist. They never take responsibility for anything and they also believe themselves to be smarter and more important than they are. Also, they are liars. Palin has been caught in numerous lies, and alot of people still think that mentally-challenged baby is really her daughter Palin's child.

  • I am not a narcissist!

  • @SarahPalinChannel But Dear, no one said you were...it's ok, come on, let's go kill something....

  • btw while i was reading that, i wasn't only thinking sarah palin. the person i saw in that discription more than anyone was naomi klein.

  • ofcourse she is a narcissist. so is obama, biden, clinton, clinton the misses, guilliani, romney, mccain and most of the other potential candidates for president, especially the top job candidates. as far as i'm concerned, theres only about 3 people who have run for president in 100 years that actually worried about the job and ran for the sake and merit of their IDEAS and for the COUNTRY, and didn't seem to be searching for sources of narcissistic supply- ron paul, ike eisenhower and jfk.

  • Comment removed

  • i would recommend a deeper history. if she fit the bill before her nomination to Republican VP candidate in 2008, or a more precise and official diagnosis were made, then I would believe it. but for now I must be skeptical.

  • I am conservative voter but she is stupid..!!!

  • @bobrushton1 Yeah, but if there's one thing she knows is that pundits make a tremendous amount more than politicians. Just another point in a list of reasons why I'm convinced that she won't run for President. Another is that she has to blame someone for anything that goes wrong, which she can do if she loses against Obama. But who does she blame if she loses to other GOPs? The party itself? The media? No, she can only blame herself and she simply won't do that.

  • waaayy to many big words

  • she's being set up as our next puppet president (the horror).

  • so? rubbish. i have probably some or other personality disorder. she's an idiot, that's bad, but some personality disorder is completely irrelevant. it doesn't make her efforts less valuable. (idiocy does that)

this whole vdeo is offensive to me.

  • by the way the dude that made this video is a wikipedia nerd...so with that being said..i trust a system that ANYONE can write ANYTHING about ANYONE. so therefore you know your getting the best possible information....need i say more..(aka wikipedia) i seen him try to bash Lee Doren (how the world works) and he failed miserably as lee has 300 videos and this dude could only find 1 thing that didn't mean 100% he was on a 100% factual basis on his report..so yeah..get a life nerd.

  • @bbender1986 You wrote all that to tell a "nerd" to "get a life"? surely you should take your own advice...

  • @xkoenigseggx lmao you can take a look at me fool and see i aint no nerd. i'm what you call a jock. faggot. and yes you'll get mashed so just shut your shithole

  • the stupidity of politics just shows...sarah palin was just a dumbfuck drone in the government. Look what happens when she ran with MCcaine and she got really in the public eye. Fuck ups are fuck ups..whatelse do you expect. The sad thign is all the fuck ups are in charge of our counrty. just a money monger..........shame on this country for being so stupid...guess thats what we get for listening to CNN.. and AKA the media...just like obama fuck up..i could go on forever.

  • In fairness, the symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder describe about 99 percent of politicians, trial lawyers, and most Hollywood celebrities.

  • That was deffinately a narcissistic personality disorder, she quit as a governor. (9)Haughty behavior or attitudes.

  • Her idea of Foreign Policy experience is merely having Russia as "our next door neighbor"....unbelievably stupid.

  • Damn.......I have NPD..........but i'm still not crazy like this fridgid bitch is. I'd hate to be Todd. I bet she makes him cry while they have sex......LOL

  • I thought Palin quit politics. WTF is she still doing in the news?

  • @TheHomelessCripple She never quit politics. Nobody told you that.

  • @cpufightclub im pretty sure I heard it when she left the governor's office

  • ..It was funny, watching her drag her husband around by the arm. lol Sarah never grew up with the phrase....Quitters never win....and winners never quit, looks like a little narcissism.

  • i wouldn't asociate her a narcissism that would go to far imo.

    .

She is an opportunist ,so leaving Alaska for the vice presidency was in her eyes a good move... a step up the ladder

And logically we probably all agree on that ,she has ambition nothing wrong with that.

    .

What puzzles me is why some republicans want her to move up in the party and perhaps become the leader in the republican party...

    .

And why did mc'cain want her to be his running mate in the election... WHY!!??....

  • She may have been a good Governor, but when it comes to world politics, its like asking a janitor in school to take over a multinational cleaning company, just because he's an excellent janitor in the school. You should not have an illusion that you can do the same job on a larger scale just because you have been doing one aspect for a period of time. No one is scared of Palin. We just need someone to make fun of, and she provides the material!!

  • Praderite

The only reason that Palin is in the news often is because, she provides hours of fun for the people. After Bush, she's the next clown in the political world. Please go through all her videos, nothing she has ever said regarding politics has ever made sense.

  • She did it for the MONEY.... She's raking it in! Even when she does political activism, it's all shilling. You know that SarahPAC that she's been advertising for? She spent a good deal of the money it made on buying her own book.

  • Sarah Palin is a Dingbat!

  • the latter and something else (who knows. she's just batshit crazy.)

  • All of the analysis of Sarah Palin can be refuted. This is a typical liberal attack . The very fact that liberals continue the attack on Sarah Palin show that she is more relevent than the leftist elete would want to admit. I haven't seen any liberals put through the same scrutiny as Sarah has been, even when they screw up much more.

  • @Praderite Hi there, were you around Bill Clinton was impeached? Seems to me that there was just a bit of excessive scrutiny there...just wondering!

  • Was at one of SP book signings. One of the last people out, nice clear evening. So, I said, within earshot of her, "My, what a lovely evening!" She turned and said "Thank you!"

  • palin does seem a little nutty and i suspect she has no qualms about shooting birds squirrels or stray cats/dogs but mostly "she dumb", i mean who can't name one newspaper.........any alaskan newspaper, the tv guide, the sunday star.......

  • One question answered, yup! Palin is a complete incompetent moron=NARCISSIST! She should be embarassed and ashamed of just how stupid she looks every time she opens her clueless mouth! That said, this applies to most of our politicians in DC too!

  • @a1mint though I agree with this completely, I wish someone would take the effort to actually find some persuasive links supporting each bullet point. Some of us are busy on the battle front defending sanity from the hordes of angry neocons ;)

  • @taylorrkenneth Each of the points I've raised can be confirmed in the ABC, Katie Couric, and the VeePee debate.

As for angry neocons, I really wish that the Sarah Palin insanity would go away. I'd like to see a sensible rational intelligent opponent. Sarah Palin represents giving the keys to everything to a mentally challenged person.

  • @a1mint I've thought she was a narcissist for a long time. I think pathological narcissism is rampant in government, professional sports, CEO's and the entertainment industry. What's sick is that these people are held up as an ideal; something to strive for. Insanity! I hate the fact that narcissists and sociopaths run our country. It's no wonder the US is in trouble. The people in power are only in it for themselves.

  • @bumpers17921 I hear you! Also keep in mind that baby-boomers often are narcissistic, in that they often feel entitled to things.

  • Comment removed

  • @a1mint I highly doubt that you have any qualification of diagnosing her or anyone with any personality disorder. Even if you did have some credential, you would be grossly unethical in diagnosing a public figure based on the varying and biased reports of who she is.

  • @ryanjames731 thank you :) for your klear showing of intelligent and reasonable thinking :) it is very difficult to diagnose a person based off a public image he would have to talk to her in person over several visits, and also be trained to make such diagnoses :) your 1 of the few people ive met who seems to get this

  • @LeonSkottKennedey .haha...My area of study is in mental health therapy : )

The need for people to put labels on others is what is telling here. The label of NPD is placed in attempt to defame an opponent. It is impossible to diagnose anyone through the media, ludicrous! If you read the DSM-IV-TR, you will find yourself with certain characteristics of many disorders, we all have them! The diagnosis comes from a trained professional in an ethical way, and the key is impairment of function.

  • @a1mint You lack a basic level of intelligence to not understand the fact that you cannot diagnose a media portrayal of a public figure. The media's portrayal (positive or negative of her) is not an accurate observation. I doubt you have any credential to make a diagnosis, if you do, it should be revoked. I am likely wasting my time as the truth would not convince you contrary to what you state. Your agenda is not truth or sincerity, you search for validation of your distortions.

  • @ryanjames731 Any normal intelligent rational thinking person can make the diagnosis himself.

All the points align perfectly with her personality.

    Sarah Palin is a narcissist.

Face it, you really need to find a different candidate.

  • @a1mint She's not my candidate.

  • @ryanjames731 I'm happy to hear that. I don't mind seeing a sensible opposition. But they keep coming up with these ridiculous people. Palin, O'Donnell, and now Romney, a Moron, I mean... Mormon, similar thing.

  • @a1mint First, it's not "rational or intelligent" at all to make a mental health diagnosis based on a portrayal of someone. 2. No untrained, uneducated person should consider themselves qualified to make any diagnosis. 3. There are plenty of ridiculous people in every political affiliation. If they are ridiculous enough, then why do you worry about them? 4. Every candidate will have undesireable qualities. Ron Paul is an excellent candidate for many reasons.

  • @ryanjames731 Read the list of traits again. They all apply, most of them incredibly well. If it looks like a duck, smell like a duck, talks like a duck, it IS a duck.

This has nothing to do with politics. It has to do with a women that's absolutely full of herself.

Did I mention that she is also intensely arrogant?

  • @a1mint I don't need to read it again. I have done a great deal of research on many disorders in the DSM-IV-TR and have worked specifically on NPD. What is interesting is your fixation on the media image of this public figure. You speak for yourself when you mention "intensely arrogant."

Narcissism has more to do with interpersonal relationships. You simply cannot observe her interpersonal relationships through the media.

  • @ryanjames731 So it's all just the gotcha journalism that's made her look bad? So how about those earmarks and that bridge to nowhere? She's a hypocrite and a quiter. She's also really bad at doing reality shows.

She's especially bad at interactive interviews.

She's proven herself to be flat out uninformed, ignorant, unintelligent. Do I really have to round up some material for you to see? Have you had your head in the sand or something?

And yes, she fits the patterns of a narcissist.

  • @a1mint Uniformed, ignorant, unintelligent have nothing to do with interpersonal relationships and NPD. You are unitelligent, uniformed, and ignorant concerning matters of mental health.

Hypocrite and quiter, maybe. NPD, not able to assess at this time.

  • @ryanjames731 So I've read some of your comments and I understand that undergoing the difficulty of obtaining a PhD must be somewhat cheapened when a bunch of non-specialists give it a go at your soon to be profession. But here is what bothers me the most about academics, you have been trained to think and see things in a specific manner and think that other people are less competent if they have not also received this specific training.

  • @dancingoncars Ok, let me make some clarificiations of your misunderstandings and misjudgments of me. 1. I am not obtaining a PhD. I am working on licensing, LMFT it is graduate level. I would one day like to pursue a PhD. 2. My education is not 'cheapened' by someone who tries to make an unqualified diagnosis. I am adding a perspective to the conversation from formal training. It is ludicrous to attempt to make a diagnosis with no training, which was the case in the conversation.

  • @dancingoncars 3. Academics do not train someone to think in a specific manner. My training especially has been an emphasis on muliticulturalism, acceptance, diversity, cybernetics. If anything, it has opened my mind varying perspectives. 4. people are individuals who come from varying background and education. I in no way assert that I am above anyone due to my education, but I certainly do have knowledge to offer a conversation as such when someone tries to diagnose a public figure.

  • @dancingoncars Dont be so quick to judge someone because they have a formal education. Learning is life-long regardless of its formal or informal method.

  • @dancingoncars not at all the point. People should not be giving people "diagnoses" with out understanding, Psychology is a science, and should not be taken into the hands of people who just presume to read a small bit and be able to judge another in accordance. to do so shows complete disregard for genuine understanding of Psychologies findings and applications. do you presume to kno more about engineering then an engineer because somebody shows you some material on the matter?

  • @LeonSkottKennedey Nevertheless. Sarah Palin has a grandiose sense of self-importance, expecting unwarranted recognition as superior, is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, believes only to be understandable by special people, requires excessive admiration, has a sense of entitlement, gets ahead on other people's shoulders, lacks empathy, believes others are envious of her, is arrogant, and has haughty behaviors or attitudes.

All the traits of a narcissist.

  • @ryanjames731 No one here is actually giving anyone a diagnosis just stating an opinion. Nothing I you or anyone else here says will in anyway actually affect Sarah Palin’s life. You need to relax and get off your high horse. For real.

  • @dancingoncars And you have a problem with facts because?

  • @ryanjames731 The facts are that Sarah Palin has a grandiose sense of self-importance, expecting unwarranted recognition as superior, is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, believes only to be understandable by special people, requires excessive admiration, has a sense of entitlement, gets ahead on other people's shoulders, lacks empathy, believes others are envious of her, is arrogant, and has haughty behaviors or attitudes.

All the traits of a narcissist.

  • @dancingoncars He's not on a High Horse, he's pointing out that you kann NOT diagnose somebody based off of public image, this video is an attempt to "diagnose" a public figur and incite others to do so aswell, which is an entirely inappropriate act, its not just trying to be an opinion, there is at least 1 person on hier that BELIEVES they kann make a diagnoses with the criterion alone, anybody who believes that, is really not in an appropriate frame of mind.

  • @LeonSkottKennedey If you're looking for people with an "inappropriate frame of mind", look at the Tea Party, Sarah Palin, and the various hosts on Faux Noise. All right wing fanatics.

Not all right wing people are crazy mentally insane fanatics, but most crazy mentally insane fanatics are right wing, that's for darn well sure.

  • @a1mint this has nothing to do with politics this has to do with people playing doctor. you've really no understanding of how this works do you? it might not be that simple but its certainly simple enough to understand it takes somebody whose actually studied these things so they know waht the CAUSES are, its not so simple as to say so und so has this or that.

  • @LeonSkottKennedey Doctor schmoctor. Sarah Palin shows clear recognizable traits that point to her being a narcissist.

You can dance around that all you want, those clear matching qualities aren't going away.

  • @a1mint your really "out there" aren't you? you think you kann do things that you kannt XD and you call her a Narcissist? XD let me guess you kann do open heart surgery? or recognize other medical issues? maybe you kann see the future? you base your "logic" solely off of the fact you dont like her. very much ignorant

  • @LeonSkottKennedey Your attempts to dilute and distract isn't working. The points remain. I've listed them. It's clear she fits the traits like a glove. A rational conclusion would be that has narcissistic traits.

  • @a1mint traits of anything like a disorder are entirely invalid when viewed through a little box. people act differently in different circumstances, many politicians seem bad in one way or another, its really all about how the media decides to portray it. the guy who made this video for example is just attempting to influence people against her because he doesn't like her, any rational and person with and I.Q. about that of an average 5 year old could get that.

  • @LeonSkottKennedey Fact remains, the traits apply. The evidence is there.

Any rational thinking intelligent person can clearly see that Sarah Palin is completely unqualified for any role that involves high level government and security matters.

It would be gravely disturbing for her to have any real powers.

Have you paid attention to how serious international affairs are? Do you understand what's involved?

Can you see Sarah Palin in that role?

    Didn't think so.
