my husband and I have had this never ending argument about onion tricks, he thinks running cold water while slicing will keep you from tearing up, not running the water on the onion just running it while cutting it...weird, I say thats totally untrue what do you think?

What i do is i rinse my onions under water and then peel them and slice them etc.

It helps a lot with the crying. lolz.
