I prefer Lukather on other projects that are original and not trying to do someone else's song. sorry guys, being a MO fan since 72/73 timeframe, this isn't happening. Too much progressive/metal rock attitude. I could probably listen to this a couple of times.
@topmeat69 It's not about upstaging anyone. chances are, covers are never going to be better than the originals. It's all about having fun with music you enjoy, can't you see?
This is what you get with strict time coordination. The "edge" -- in terms of syncopation -- is lost, and it plods. Give me the pre-computer, pre-digital, "human" time and coordination. The original recordings speak for themselves. Play those records loud and the mid-range will tear your face off. Why bother re-making them? Yeah, Lukather can play, but I got very bored listening to this.
I CANT FIND THIS RECORD. CAN SOMEONE HELP?

@Zeugitai I got very bored reading your criticism. I could say why bother criticising, go and so something creative instead

Does not work for Me....prefer Mahavishnu Project as a cover band.

A little slow, and a little too much production value, but Vinnie is the best part.
