When I was little they had a Qeenie Bee appearance at the restaurant and she gave me a little plastic ring. This was the early 80's around the same time that Twinkie the Kid hung out at groceries giving out the same sort of rings.
Don't know why they ditched Queenie Bee and switched to the poor man's Huck Finn...Andy Dandy Tale.
@keenius74 No, they sold out to Dairy Queen in the early 1990s. There is one in Campbellsville, KY still carrying the Druther's name and logo. I guess it is independently owned and they allowed them to just keep the brand name and logo since the corporation converted all Druther's over to Dairy Queens...I remember in some places the Druther's just closed down where there was already a Dairy Queen in the same town.

I worked at a Burger Queen in Bradenton, FL. when I was 15! This was in 1980. They had really good food!
