exactly. you can see he gets irritated when people bring up system. Daron said he was usedto being a frontman of a band in a biography, and he said system was a nice change that everyone had an equal role. its entirely possible (and apparent) that by Mezmerize in 2005, he wanted to be a frontman again. You can see it in Systems music coz he sings in every song. theres only a few which have serj mainly singing

dude serj doesnt have a cocaine problem look it up, its basically daron who wanted to be more of the lead singer (dont get me wrong, i love daron) they decided to take a break for many reasons, one was to give daron a chance to be a lead and serj a chance to solo. Daron and Shavo were the only ones who really smoked coke anyway

SOAD was an awesome band, much different than other bands out there. Its disappointing to hear that theyre not coming back.
1 person is not as good w/out the other, musically. Serj and Daron compliment eachother very well.
To see them being so selfish as to not giving the fans what they really want, they deserve to be lessened.
If they just set aside and accept differences, they could reunite. But judging from Darons stubborn comment, it wont happen.

i personally don't give a shit if they come back anymore, i used to but that was back when they were one of the few metal bands i used to listen to. i was only starting to listen to metal at the time so i didn't have many bands for comparison. even though their last 2 albums were good they were starting to go downhill, mainly due to daron's vocals

i wouldn't go as far as saying they're the best band in the whole world. there are many better bands far better than them. but i say they are the best modern mainstream metal band, which really isn't saying much since most mainstream bands suck anyway. but they were still a good band

The band seperated what else if you see daron when he is in an interview you see his face when they ask about SOAD he does'nt look very happy and the name of the band speaks for itself Lots of their songs were supposed to take place in Hollywood and that is where he was left on his own on "Broadway"

the hiatus started in 2006 and serj said it would be a 3 year hiatus. Im not sure what I think, I mean they are pretty good friends.
Daron and john are in a band together, Serj is on solo, I mean the odds are quite good, as they still have an active career. No! I didnt forget shavo, but I don´t know what he has been doing.
