My honda civic would own this piece of shit. It pulls 15 kw at the Wheel Nuts and 278kw at the tyres. The only thing holding her back from the 500kw range is the exhaust system. Its just a 6" system gonna upgrade it to a 13" system. Then any of you hillbillys from down south can race me any time. I am not a afraid Why would i. @drf22 lol. The XR5 is more fun to drive in my experience, handles a fuck load better too. But yea, they seem to have a few problems. Ive only test driven one. Was a good time;) Been in a few xr6 turbos. Test drove a G6E turbo aswell. But the XR5 was definately a lot more fun. Feels a lot faster too, even if its not, the 5 cylinder just rips like a beast when the boost kicks in. 6 speed with a sweet little shifter. Good fun. Now this will kill you. We ended up buying a Toyota Aurion ;)
@drf22 Yea they are. I love it. But a lot of people who dont know much about them, or have never driven one usually bag the shit out of them. But man its a beast. Not many people realise how hard they go.

@fotogenikfilm CV's and drive shafts are much cheaper to replace than a clutch, and quicker. You could do both driveshafts and CV's in less than 3 hours, where as a clutch is like 6-8 hour job, which equals one week at the mechanics.
i can't believe this hasn't happened to mine yet. I was just watching the last set of vids I took at the drags, the axle tramp is a bloody joke. A not very old LV blew a CV that night... I take it easy on launches now.
im not a genius or anything, but wouldnt it have made sense to stop the car immediately? would make it closer to the start line to push the thing off the track, as well as containing any possible fluid leaks.
