  • If I had to take a wild guess, I would say those are 4in tips. Nice! I want to get Dual 4in tips when i get my side exhaust. I'll say this, the TFS1 cam sounds good your side exhaust is great BUT for some reason it has no tone. It has this sort of Watermelon/ Immigrant smuggler Pick-Up Truck sound. You can hear the cam crunching away but again no tone but this vid is old so it's pretty much irrelevant. NICE STANG, WHO CARES IF ITS A CLONE!!!!! AT LEAST IT ISN'T RICED OUT!!!!

  • OK just so everyone here knows and stops complaining. Here's the facts. Its a 95 mustang gt with an athenic saleen full suspenpension with athenic saleen 351 engine with ford upper intake.

  • nice mustang, but it is not a real saleen, .no saleen rims?why would you swap them for cobra r's? real saleens have the championship reefs on either the side windows or back. and they dont come with a stock 5.0 intake.they come with a vortech mondobox intake with "saleen"on it. the bumper number you can find anywhere just like the stripe and decals.a good majority of them came with recaro seats.also came with a pony emblem not the gt emblem,and a small black plastic piece on the quarter windows.

  • The bottom line is, none of you know if it's a Saleen or not. Just because he was foolish enough to change some things, doesn't mean it's not a Saleen. I have a Cobra that I changed EVERYTHING on and people are stupid enough to say it's not a Cobra. Then when I want to bet them it is and pull out the title, they shut the fuck up like a little bitch. Just because you have something doesn't mean you can't change it.

  • Not a Saleen. A real Saleen wouldn't have a GT emblem on the side. Just a Saleen body kit. Saleen pushes more than 400hp.

  • a stock saleen is 2v. same as a gt. and it makes similar power to a gt. nice try though. and thats not a gt suspension or interior. so you coudnt be more wrong.

  • if you look at the end of the video, it's got a 5.0 HO intake, same as mine, and i have a GT. A real saleen would say saleen written on it's intake manifold. Yeah, the suspension and interior are all after market. You can order saleen body parts and make it look like a saleen. But when it comes down to the real thing...look at the engine and it will tell you if it's the real thing or not. Learn your mustang dude!

  • Really? Maybe a motor swap bud. Maybe he put a 5.0 upper on it. Could be a number of things like that. I highly doubt this guy put on a body kit, swap to saleen quad shocks and swap to full saleen interior.

  • Go to a custom paint shop and they can make it look like the original. My buddy has a GT also but looks like a cobra. Has the snake in front of the grill and says cobra at the bumper. It's not a cobra cause his intake is a stock 5.0 HO. If it was a real cobra, then his intake would have a cobra emblem encrypted on the top of his intake. He said it's a replica of a cobra.

  • And another thing. If you buy a saleen body kit you don't get THE OFFICIAL number of your REAL saleen right under the drivers side headlight.

  • Unless you have a nicely modded engine, dont get rid of your cats; it Kills the HP. I went w/ a trick flow upper and lower intake, 3:73's U/D pullies, OR Hpipe and CAI and I barely picked up anything at the track. Mostly stock stangs THRIVE on backpressure unless you have a power adder.

  • You obviously dont know anyhting about mustang. The stock horsepower was only 215hp at the crank. Now its 300 hp at the rear wheels which is around 340hp at crank

    Umm, try more like 360fwhp. 19-21% loss with an automatic. If you have stock E7 heads, it's more like 300fwhp or less even if you think if sounds and feels like it. Trust me I know, I had that cam with stock heads and actually had it dyno tested.

  • @ufstang well the cobra did have 300hp stock but thats a different vehicle which is still pretty bad for the money they charge people hell a 99 camaro v6 had 210hp and 240 tq thats only 5 hp difference and two more cylinders hell and it ways a shit load the problem with these slowstangs of this generation was the heads very weak and super shitty

ALSO the 94 95 mustangs are the only ones to ever have the horizontal stylelights. pretty cool. 96 and up had the vertical. know your shit befor you act retarded -- I have a 94 cobra and instantly changed them to the vertical just because i liek them.

  • get the whole TFS top ender kit, you'll probaly be out about $23-2500.00, but it's worth it for your stock block & internals. this should put you atleast 350hp with a hi lph fuel pump & regulator. also your computer my need to be tweaked with a DIABLO piggyback.u might beable to hang with a stock F-body.

  • Your right. The trick flow combo kit is the most power you can get for 2500 on a n/a engine.I am putting the same kit on a 347 in a couple of months.Add a supercharger and its time to have 450 to 550 hp.On the beefed up 4000 dollar 347. Never on a stock block.The cobra computer does well with this combo as well. Minimal tuning.

  • car has a nice cam in it but the exhaust sounds shitty put some new mufflers on there and post another video, in the meantime listen to my shit. It should be some motivation for you

  • stock heads and pistons will run up to .512 lift without notching. the TFS 1 cam has .499I/.510E, so you're cutting it VERY close. the best route is to save up and buy some TFS heads. as well as the instant 50rwhp increase, you can run up to .540 lift and a lot more duration due to the different valve loctaions. i had a lunati .536/.536 cam and it was no problem in my '95 before i went to the DART block and 8.8:1 pistons.

  • After get some TFS heads, what did you run in the Quarter mile? and what was your HP at the wheel, cause this is my next project.

  • wwith my 3.73's, and BFG drag radials, it was a pretty consistant 13.2 - 13.1 car. something around a 1.95 - 1.90 60ft ws normal, and you gain a lot of speed pulling in 3rd gear. i actually have the TFS 205 CNC heads on my turbo setup, and if you are willing to spend a little more, do it, lol. also, look into TFS top end kits from Summit and Mustangs Unlimited.

  • I run that same Cam with GT-40 X303 heads and 24# inj. Mine idles at 710 rpm and sounds JUST like his in this video. Another 200 rpm would idle to high, near 1000.

  • I did, This video was taken right after I installed the cam. The car has many bolt ons as well as edelbrock intake 24lbs injectors, milled heads.

  • im 15 and i have an 87 camaro with a custom cherry bomb exaust sounds nasty i only paid $300 for the carit will go at least 150mph i know becuase my dads friend has a "MUSTANK" cobra that goes 150 on his speedometer and mine can hang with it but im not 4 sure how fast mine will to do my speedo only goes to 80 but my camaro will waste any stock mustank

  • Look out guys he has a custom Chery Bomb exhaust. Look kid your Camaro only has 220hp, and thats if its the good one, IROC-Z, too. Don't talk until you have raced one yourself.

  • just because the speedo says 150mph, don't mean it'll go 150mph. it might sound good, but does it perform? like awaugs said, the top-of-the-line IROC-Z had 220hp, which isn't as much as this stang here (which sounds killer with the cam btw).

    get the facts straight: speedometors show speed, not show how fast a car'll go. sometimes you can peg the speedo out, or they way over-rate it (for instance, my truck's "goes 110-120" but it tops out at 95mph.

  • actually no it was garage kept fpr 20 years by an 79 year old lady who husband raced it and he past away but 6 months before he did he dropped in a 600hp 350 and put alot of racing mods on it and it was only raced once with the new motor anyway she had to get rid of it because she was going to nursing home when i saw it i was like "damn" i figured she wanted mabee a couple thousand but then she said $300 i had a heart attack and bought it

  • sounds nice, get a drive by video. And what you need to do mazen is a PI swap so you get a higher compression and MORE rwhp than a PI motor. Get the heads P&P and a VT stage 1 cam if you have enough money.

  • i gotta 98 gt, 3.73 gears, throttle body, plenum, intake, intake manifold, full exhuast, and pulleys. and some nittos in the back, i ran a 13.9 too, but ive only hit that once. but ive been saving up to swap my motor with a PI motor, and those motors are a hell of a lot more powerful than mine. and only 1500 for the motor, cant really go wrong with it, only has 55k miles on it compared to mine, 150k on it.

  • if you havent already gotten the motor, actually the best thing to do is swap out the PI heads onto your motor, since it raises the compression to 10.1:1. we have that same setup on a friends 98 GT with Comp 272AH cams and it makes ~ 310rwhp.

  • 95's had pushrod motors, so..... how in the hell is he gonna do a PI head swap off a modular motor?! That makes no sense at all.

  • Yeah, but the "carconnoisser" is saying this kids 95 GT (Saleen package) is a 5.0 pushrod motor as evidenced when he opens the hood at end. PI heads only fit the 96-00 Modular motors (of course 01-04, but there already there). You are apparently the mistaken one, or you have a hard time with the English language. (or you're a Chevy guy tryin' to act cool)

  • and i was commenting on Mazen189's comment about his potential head swap on his 98gt. i own a 95 mustang gt and use to have an SVT lightning, so i think i know which heads will fit on which. and no: ill push my ford before i drive an F-body.
