  • damn the male is smaller than the female xD

  • He tapped out!

  • thats stupid

  • i think 'liz' wasnt very happy about here new 'room mate ' trying to kill her :)

  • He's to small! He's too small! Lol, @tanner62843 No thats not it. It's a male if theres 1 big bump on each side of the tail when held with tail up. The female is in the middle with 1 bump farther down closer to the belly. I think... @GRiZZYxK1LLeR yes..

  • He's a randy bastard...

I read THREE pages of comments; and he's still going at it. Gerrin' there Spike.

  • blahblahblah

  • Thumbs wayy down for another retard that keeps these animals in an enclosure thats too small. dumbass

  • @TheJestersDoor three year old video. the 55gal was for the little beardie to have himself. I now have a 40gal breeder tank for 3 of them.

try not to judge everything so harshly.

  • bad tank poor beardies

  • @beardiesrule1999 very old video. you should see there set up now.

  • @Duane4AK should be that she is showing submission to the male.

  • I have a male who is almost two years old and a female who is almost 9 months ago and we just put them together for the first time and the same thing happened. i have no idea what to expect so i took my female out and put her back in her own cage. my male is going nuts and bobbing his head nonstop.

  • my beardie has bumps under its tail, does that mean its a boy or girl? cuz i really want to breed them. and another question is: does it matter how big the habitat is for them to mate?

  • @tjf12100 both males and females have glads between the rear legs, a males will be easy to see though. google how to tell if your beardie is a male, its kinda hard for me to explain.

the actual habitat shouldn't matter, in this video you see the very large female in the small males tank. Some females will be aggressive in there own terrarium when it comes to mating though.

  • @tjf12100 If it has 3 bumps on each side, its a male. If it has 1 bump on each side, then I think its a female.

  • Hey, My female bearded dragon is 2 years old and I wanted to mate her with my friends beardie who is 1. The have currently been sharing a tank and the male nods his head alot whilst she returns with a little bob and constant hand waving. he tries every now and then to mount her but stop? she doesnt really fight him off like shes 'keen' haha so im not sure how long it will take till they mate?

  • @tiarne93 sounds like the female is trying to fight the male off. Try moving the female to the males enclosure so she isn't so defensive.

  • spike likes the fat chicks i see

  • Spike: "FEMALE!" *Jumps on top of Liz*

    Liz: "Yes, hi." *Tries waving*

  • @AbbieLovesMurphy lmao, best comment yet! thumbs this one up people!

  • Hahaha she's twice his size! Tht's adorable!

  • i have a beardie he's light colored

  • omg thats funny i got scared when i put my little 8 month old female with my sisters 3 year old male so i pulled him away and grabbed her out and got scared when his beard turned black

  • its ok to keep two beardies in one cage but it must be 4ft by 2ft or bigger. your cage is too small even for one of them......

  • he is tapping out let go

  • Is that big one a uro? If it is idk why its just sitting there getting bit lol. My Male uro bit the female once when i first put it in there and she turned around and smoked his ass lol.

  • 0:07 .. SPANK ME DADDY

  • IM TAPPING OUT IM TAPPING OUT!!!!

  • His dragon penis is not big enough to penetrate.

  • my little man victor is around ten months and introduced him to my new girl Bella whose two and half years old they get along great sleep together and have there bobbing head dance, i haven't caught them mating but suppose find out with time

  • do the stanky leggg

  • they're called "love bites"

  • cage way 2 small how lod female?

  • hey

i have a 1 year old male dragon and i want to breed beardies and i found a beutiful female that i want to get but she's 5 years old. would they still be able to mate?

  • @Beardie1127 yes, but it could be very rough on the male.

  • @Beardie1127

what do you mean rough? he wouldn't get hurt ir anything right?

  • @Beardie1127 it is possible that the female does not accept him, and could "fight" him.

  • If I got a male go with my female who would dominent

  • @TheMadmoo123

Depends on the size. my guess would be the male

  • wow liz is huge

  • pipsqeak got what he wanted

  • he's not big enough down there you mean. :D

  • 0:09

    Spank me! SPANK ME!!

  • @MishalMooreLover lollll

  • cage is tiny!!!

  • @TheBri1234567 Why thank you for the in depth review, Mrs. 17 year old expert on bearded dragons.

it has been said many times, this tank, is for the male by himself. the female was introduced to the males tank. which, at the time, was a great size for him, as he was small. it is a large 55gal tank.

I don't know how many times I have to repeat my self, especially to children who have to ask permission to even own a pet.

  • @TheBri1234567 that tank isnt even close to small look how long it is

  • fail

  • Is biteing part of beardded dragons wen they mate.

  • why is it advised to wait till their 2 years old?

  • @1icancareless1 I believe because its more successful of a conception. mainly for the female. some will "dry up" too if they breed to much when younger so I have heard.

  • lol little bearded dragon is a white boy bigger beardie a big black woman

  • show his dominance? idk about the animal kingdom but in this society that is considerd rape!!!

  • RAAAPE!

  • how can u tell if its a male or female

  • how can u tell if its a male or female

  • u fucking jack ass no bite

  • lol at 2:00 tap out tap out

  • Rule 34# lulz

  • lol how old can u breed them

  • @AIRKILLER1000 you can start as early as 8months to a year, but its best advised to wait till they are about 2 years old

  • lol flailing arms.

  • My brother´s beardie is Spike, too :D

  • oh i see what shes doing shes trying to wack him

  • @MARGUCK lmao!

  • small guy taking on the big one

  • whos spike and whos liz

  • @MARGUCK liz is the female, the large one, and spike is the little male

  • Daaaaaaaaaaam! Hes Got Himself A Think One! :P

  • HE IS HORNNNNNY!!

  • he's just showing domminance

  • horny bastard lmao

  • i have an airwick freshmatic thing too!!!

  • hhhahahahahahha hes all like move bitch get out the way

  • HOLY SIZE DIFFERENCE!

  • she tappin out, thats not a bearded dragon thats chuck lidell

  • @eastwicksfinest908 more like tito ortiz ;)

  • looks like they are fighting

  • uv lighting??

  • @ballmonkey7 If your asking if they had it, yes they did. the bulb/housing covered 90% of the tank, so we took it off for the video.

  • @Ultracougar your retarded there is no way u spend that much for five dagons

  • @jarqu14 You'd be surprised doc. I own a baby dragon and the thing is capable of eating 17 crickets in one day. I can only imagine how much five of the blasted thing could eat.

  • love at first bite :)

  • @Ultracougar

I spend that equal amount to feed my 2. I might be spending more for food than you do though.

  • hahahahahahah cute :)

  • That is the same as what my male did to my female my male is only 9 months and my female is 2 years he went nuts after her but he is too small its like a teenager wanting to breed with a adult!

  • Like I said before in the other comments. The tank is for the small male. The large female we just had gotten in this video, and put her in his cage to see what would happen.

we where new at beardie's at this time or else she wouldn't have went in there from what i know now.

The female beardie lived in a 40 gal breeder.

  • yes. 100% normal.

some male's will be so aggressive to tear skin off and cause bleeding.

  • My male beardy seems to accept other lizards. He doesn't live with them, but I do take out my uro and my beardy outside everyday and they just lie on top of one another, and sometimes the uro follows him around (uro's a female). However, I still have them in separate terrariums. But I was wondering, since y beardy is accepting around the majority of my pets, would it be possible for him to live with another beardy in a 75 gallon terrarium?

  • A female, possibly? Whenever I bring a mirror to him he sees his reflection, but he doesnt really mind it. I would think the may act territorial, thinking it's a another beardy, but he just lies down there in front of it.

  • Well if a mature male and female are together your going to get egg's soon after that, haha.

But yes, it is very possible for male's to live together, my comment was more tword breeding about them hurting each other.

I would be a little worried about putting a large mature male with a small juvi' male, but two beardies of about the same size should be fine!

I wouldn't sweat it to much. Good luck!

  • @Xarmy187 wow, thats very odd

  • is he suppose to bite her?

  • thats the fastest ive seen any berdie get on he must have been super horny

  • lol, it was the first time he's really ever been around another beardie other then when he was a little baby!

    it was pretty odd, haha

  • damn...he ain't messin around

  • what the... lol

  • RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPE!

  • lol.

  • @kevinwhitecross ha ha lol

  • Comment removed

  • The smaller one, the one ontop is obviously a male.

  • oh ok im kinda new to beardies

  • no problem, its ok :)

  • thanks for the vid. I got a 2 year old bearded dragon, pretty built. He is also named Spike lol. I wish I had enough money to afford another one (female). He seems desperate for some hehe.

  • you can always just watch craigslist. Thats what I did.

    good luck :)

  • Foreplay is for pussys hahahahaha

  • they bite is a signal when they mate nice!

  • thanks! :)

  • lol ur female's digging a burrow before they even mate XD

  • Well first of all make SURE they are male and female, two male's might just fight it out. Male's are normally much bigger, with large head's and tail's but sometime's they dont grow well (normally from poor care) as stated in other comment's Liz the female had 32egg's from this "experence".

  • dude! there trying to get it on you know what i meen so leave them alone while they makeout XD

  • Whats he doing to her? She doesnt seem to like whatever the male is doing to her lol

  • yes he was "doing" her, or beginng to.

When she pat's her side, its to show that she wants the male to continue.

ive seen this happen with some of my other female dragon's and they will ignore the male's actions, or move away.

this has been explaned alot in other comments below, and in the discription.

  • Oh sorry, I dident check the other page.

  • no worries!

    thanks for watching!

  • that female is HUGE!

  • haha, yea, shes a decent sized female, the male was only about half grown at the time, so it makes her appear much bigger

  • as far as i understand PetSmart, and other stores have contracts with breeders, they are to produce XX amount of beardies in XX amount of time, and if they dont, they will find another breeder.

i did here from an employee at a local PetCo, that they only pay $10-15 each, and then resale the dragons for $50+!

stay away from thouse kind of pet stores, you should find a private breeder if you want one, or try and sell them on your own if you breed them.

  • i work at petco and we can get them from Sunfire place which is well known for there awesome beardies. We get a assorted some are amazing and others arn't.

i am not preaching that petco is amazing just i know some places where they get them.

  • thats very good then.

the local petco to me that i knew most the staff had 2 differnt savannah's die because of impaction, due to them "having" to put sand in there tank, even though these where very small baby sav's, and ive seen ton's of sick beardie's come through.

petco imo, is a horrible place to get a pet, good place to buy stuff, but horrible for pet's

  • yah it depends on what people work there too.

hope you have more babies. I think there soo cute

  • we have had 2 clutch's so far.

    1 male to 3 female's.

we havent got a clutch lately, but it think it's due to winter settling in.

    i hope for lot's more :)

i also plan on making a video of hatching/laying for my next clutch

  • huh?

    what do you mean?

  • I had one of those when I was younger, naked him spikey. Cool critters.

  • i mate them for cash on the side.

makes a pretty decent amount of money.

nothing to write home about, but helps on with the mod's on the 'stang

  • The female "arm waving" movement is her acceptance communication to him. Basically she's saying "Oh yeah, Daddy. Do what you do."

  • lol, funny, but true info

  • The arm waving is actually submissive behaviour saying "you're the boss, you're dominant."

  • Shes Like Get Off LOL xD

  • 9 months old.... damn he's startin early

  • haha, yea. that female in the video layed eggs like 4-5wks after this video on 5-10-08, and as of 07-28-08 31 babies hatched!

  • No Shit, Thank You Captain Obvious

  • yea, i knw its a little narrow, but the tank is for the smaller male for right now.

they where together for 4wks, when she started showing signs of having eggs, i moved her to her own enclosure, and as of yesterday at 5:30pm moutain time, she layed 32 eggs, not a single slug!!!

  • Hes trying to fuck her, lol
