People are nostalgic cause they grew up with Warcraft 3 story and when wow introduced the main characters 1 by 1 finally arriving at the last most awesome character to see lich die is like seeing the ending of warcraft 3 again :( and i miss them a lot i wanna be a child again like in the old days seeing Arthas on the throne all alone on an icy mountain.

In my opinion, WotLK was the best expack. I don't care how easy the raids were or unbalanced PvP was, the lore, athmosphere and music were good. And that is a big part of the game.

@pireynedor Why would we need to see it's gameplay? We all know what it is going to be like. After all, we have had 3 expansions before it, and nothing has changed. You can make out what they are going to change by reading their news which, knowing Blizzard, are final. The problem is in how they are hoing to simplify the game even more with their "talents" and easymode instances.
Soon there will be no need to play Super Mario, as most Mario games are harder than WoW by now.

@BlackTemplar43 WoW was epic during the time of Vanilla and TBC. It was one of the best experiences that I had gotten from a video game, but I quit after that. From what I have heard, WoW is slowly losing its appeal with the advent of other games.
This song...is just a sad theme to the death of Warcraft...I'm seriously tearing up about this. Warcraft was such a great franchise before the writers ruined the very story. I played since Warcraft 2 when I was 6. Didn't get a chance to play through Vanilla but I played BC and Wrath for the story and experience. Now...it's gone to shit. @BlackTemplar43 it was indeed not that hard, though i have to disagree on the raids, they were extremely hard in vanilla, but the most entertaining when you could tell the whole server that you and your guild "did it"
i miss old vanilla, because there was so much work to be done you kept the community rolling and growing stronger, making it truly magical for every aspect of the game

Vanilla was a pain. It got me hooked, but damn. It actually sucked donkey, its just that we all cling on to our memories and mistake that for "something awesome". Vanilla WoW: Epic Raids and friendly spirit with the palyers.
TBC: Not as good as vanilla but still an excellent expansion.
WOTLK: I think the best of them all. Excellent story, amazing lands, great characters and easy enough for everyone to play.
Cata: I think the worst of them all. Players are elitist, noobcalling whiners, content is just recycled vanilla and TBC raids/instances, story makes me faceplam once a minute, and only no-lifes have the time to play.

@Calthrasful Yeah. That would have more sense than the Japanese/Chinese rip off we will get in the next expansion. Night elves and Pandaren do look alike. Nelves have some influences taken from the oriental world, but nothing THAT obvious as the future Pandaren will have.

@WoWrocks3388 Storyline is one of the most important factors in a game. If a game is perfect, but the storyline is boring or poorly thought out, the game feels mediocrity at best. The storyline became dull in cata, now it's just about Deathwing yelling "Next time, adventurers, next time." Firelands is just comical, with all those Thrall sadface quests. Especially that made my eyeballs roll in agony. Yes, I correct myself. I left after patch 4.3 PTR. That was just the last straw.
@WoWrocks3388 Cataclysm has cost over 2 million players, most of them have left because the game is not fun anymore, it feels like a job nowadays. You have to spend hours a day if you wish to have all the latest Tier sets, enough gold and HP/CP and achievements. One or two instance runs a day is not going to get you anything even on the long run. You would have to do 5+ of them plus the RotZ dungeons as well if you wanted to raid at some point. Ordinary people don't just have the time for that.
@Archerthemathman1 Classic wow gave you the chance to raid or not to raid. You could still do fine running in instances. Yes, raids were hard during that time, but they were more rewarding. You could get admiration from players weeks to come after you were seen with epic items. Besides, only about 1% of players got to see KT in the first place.
Cata is all about raiding and doing instances. It is not neccessarily harder than vanilla, but if you do have top gear, bb raid invitations and progress
@Archerthemathman1 I started in Cata (i'm so ashamed), but I'm making sure I go back through all of the old content. Already ran Molten Core, and oh was that fun (Soul Burn for all!!). Tried to get through AQ, but couldn't get past the two emperors.....And this is all before hitting lvl 70. Yeah, I hear the Cata stuff rehashes, but that'll be fun!
@mhartsfi I started during Cata too (also ashamed) and my first ever raid was ICC. My BF raided ICC back when it was current and I watched him a few times. I now want to marry Arthas.

I actually think pandaren are one of the best races in wow, and i think blizzard is trying to expand WoW not as a game, but as a world, i as a great fan of the warcraft series find myself amazed with the way things happened ever since Arthas saving children from bandits and Neltharion as the earth warden, Mists of Pandaria is obviously not the best thing, but it makes me wonder how much life is still unknown to most in Azeroth.
I like in Mists of Pandaria Blizz wants to make new models for old races and Chinese motive but I dont like new class talents. I think it isn't bad idea to add Pandaria because in W3 FT was hero form this land and that shows Azeroth isn't a little planet.

@pireynedor Why would we need to see it's gameplay? We all know what it is going to be like. After all, we have had 3 expansions before it, and nothing has changed. You can make out what they are going to change by reading their news which, knowing Blizzard, are final. The problem is in how they are hoing to simplify the game even more with their "talents" and easymode instances.
Soon there will be no need to play Super Mario, as most Mario games are harder than WoW by now.

This song...is just a sad theme to the death of Warcraft...I'm seriously tearing up about this. Warcraft was such a great franchise before the writers ruined the very story. I played since Warcraft 2 when I was 6. Didn't get a chance to play through Vanilla but I played BC and Wrath for the story and experience. Now...it's gone to shit. Thanks a fucking lot Blizzard for ruining one of the world's greatest universes.

i miss old vanilla, because there was so much work to be done you kept the community rolling and growing stronger, making it truly magical for every aspect of the game

Vanilla was a pain. It got me hooked, but damn. It actually sucked donkey, its just that we all cling on to our memories and mistake that for "something awesome". Same goes for BC, that was better, but still... meh. Then came Wotlk, to me the best time ever to play wow. Cataclysm is... alright, I guess. Maybe its me, that I have played the same game too long. But I REALLY look forward to MoP. Fuck y'all, pandaren haters. Go play with your cow people and then come back and say its dumb.

Vanilla WoW: Epic Raids and friendly spirit with the palyers.
TBC: Not as good as vanilla but still an excellent expansion.
WOTLK: I think the best of them all. Excellent story, amazing lands, great characters and easy enough for everyone to play.
Cata: I think the worst of them all. Players are elitist, noobcalling whiners, content is just recycled vanilla and TBC raids/instances, story makes me faceplam once a minute, and only no-lifes have the time to play.
MOP: Pandas? Just no...

@Calthrasful Yeah. That would have more sense than the Japanese/Chinese rip off we will get in the next expansion. Night elves and Pandaren do look alike. Nelves have some influences taken from the oriental world, but nothing THAT obvious as the future Pandaren will have.

@WoWrocks3388 The problem is that those "Doggies" and "Cows" had a serious background. Basically both races faced certain destruction, and were forced to join the Alliance/ Horde or die.
Kung Fu Pandas on the other hand are just happily living in an utopic happyland full of butterflies and even their enemies are evil bunnies and monkeys. I never said I played it anymore? I left after patch 4.2. Besides it is hypocritical to just tell people to leave. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

@WoWrocks3388 Storyline is one of the most important factors in a game. If a game is perfect, but the storyline is boring or poorly thought out, the game feels mediocrity at best. The storyline became dull in cata, now it's just about Deathwing yelling "Next time, adventurers, next time." Firelands is just comical, with all those Thrall sadface quests. Especially that made my eyeballs roll in agony. Yes, I correct myself. I left after patch 4.3 PTR. That was just the last straw.

@WoWrocks3388 Cataclysm has cost over 2 million players, most of them have left because the game is not fun anymore, it feels like a job nowadays. You have to spend hours a day if you wish to have all the latest Tier sets, enough gold and HP/CP and achievements. One or two instance runs a day is not going to get you anything even on the long run. You would have to do 5+ of them plus the RotZ dungeons as well if you wanted to raid at some point. Ordinary people don't just have the time for that.

@Archerthemathman1 Classic wow gave you the chance to raid or not to raid. You could still do fine running in instances. Yes, raids were hard during that time, but they were more rewarding. You could get admiration from players weeks to come after you were seen with epic items. Besides, only about 1% of players got to see KT in the first place.
Cata is all about raiding and doing instances. It is not neccessarily harder than vanilla, but if you do have top gear, bb raid invitations and progress

@Archerthemathman1 I started in Cata (i'm so ashamed), but I'm making sure I go back through all of the old content. Already ran Molten Core, and oh was that fun (Soul Burn for all!!). Tried to get through AQ, but couldn't get past the two emperors.....And this is all before hitting lvl 70. Yeah, I hear the Cata stuff rehashes, but that'll be fun!

I actually think pandaren are one of the best races in wow, and i think blizzard is trying to expand WoW not as a game, but as a world, i as a great fan of the warcraft series find myself amazed with the way things happened ever since Arthas saving children from bandits and Neltharion as the earth warden, Mists of Pandaria is obviously not the best thing, but it makes me wonder how much life is still unknown to most in Azeroth.

I like in Mists of Pandaria Blizz wants to make new models for old races and Chinese motive but I dont like new class talents. I think it isn't bad idea to add Pandaria because in W3 FT was hero form this land and that shows Azeroth isn't a little planet.
