in a domestic violence relationship, on the average, it takes the victim about 7 times to leave ones spouse. Due to the lack of the self esteem issue for the victim., but each time a leaving /coming back event occurs, the victim grows a little stronger inside oneself by seeking the support and knowledge needed to get out. I have had 3 marriages of violence. I sought help from the Grace of God, my counselor, family and friends for support... I am a Domestic Violence survivor.I found myself.
