  • The so-called "core rope memory" didn't have 72K memory, it had 0K memory!

  • If you really think they went to the moon with that, you have got a serious delusion!

  • @hunchbacked call me deluded. I choose facts over anomalies every time !

  • Hunched still never offered any contradicting evidence, not a single shred of proof about the Surveyor-3 camera and shovel retrieval from Apollo 12 either, he simply refused to provide any yet dismissed every one I presented without any explanation or rationale, he just simply ended the conversation and blocked me for proving him false.

those pesky little facts are a bitch huh hunched ?

  • 1.30 gorgeous kitty

  • Wow, John Locke was on the apollo mission!

  • that's real program "hard coding" (2:25)

  • It takes the meaning of "hard coding" to a different level (2:25)

  • Margaret Hamilton I love you (^^)

  • What's amazing was how quickly things were changing during the late 60s early 70s.

The AGC had the equivalent of 68K rom and 4K ram and was composed of 4,000 discrete components.

By 1972 core rope was replace by rom chips like those found in the HP 35 and by 1976 they could have made the entire AGC a single board composed of 40 or so chips.

  • The apollo computers were actually a beast of a machine that rocks.

Some people claim that this computer was weak but when you look at the first home computers you got at home 11 years or later than 1996, they still did not match that computer in speed and memory. I remember the Z80 with 1 KB memory, I remember the TRS 80 model I with 16 KB memory.

Also these types of computers are still used in the Shuttle.

  • @obaeyens

    What are you saying?

Your X80 was more powerful than the Apollo computer.

And the shuttle doesn't use at all the same computer, it uses a much more powerful and compact computer.

The operating system of the Apolo computer which is described in the Apollo documentation is completely delirious and inconsistent.

You have absolutely no idea of reality, you live in complete delusion.

  • amazing.

  • @FatFreddy88 Give it a rest. That stuff is old and tired now. If you were alive at the time of the Moon landings, then you should have no doubts that they happened. If you were born after 1972, you have definitely been paying attention to the wrong people. Over the last 18 months the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has been photographing the Apollo landing sites in such high detail that the astronauts' foot prints are visible. It's only a matter of time for the hoax believers and they know it.

  • "If you were alive at the time of the Moon landings, then you should have no doubts that they happened."

I was 13 when they showed us that footage on TV. It was quite a let-down. I was expecting to see some high jumps and demostrations of objects thrown in lunar gravity. Now I understand why I was let down.

    3W's (dot) spurstalk (dot) com/forums/showthread (dot) php?t=144487

    (check link for gaps)

  • @FatFreddy88 Perhaps you were shown the wrong footage. A few examples of what you say you missed: John Young jumping off the ground while saluting the flag, Alan Shepard hitting a golf ball, Harrison Schmidt throwing his hammer and, the best of the lot, David Scott dropping a hammer and a feather. All these clips are available on YouTube.

  • @FatFreddy88 Anyobdy is free to believe in anything. And as a citizen of a free and democratic country, anybody is free to distribute his/her opinion in speech, writing and pictorial. But you should be aware that your opinion and belief, be it religiously or ohterwise irrationally driven (by paranoia caused by antiamericanism for example) does not change historic and scientific matter of facts. Especially when people don't even understand science, which sadly is widely spread.

  • @AirSimming

Fully agree on that. The past few decades there appears to be a general psychological tendency for people to think that a significant event must have been caused by something similarly major, significant or powerful.

However, I can't understand how someone can get sucked into a hoax belief system based on the premise that every scientist and engineer in the world is either stupid or lying.

  • @Rob260259 Getting sucked into a hoax belief system has one, or two kinds of causes: a huge portion of ignorance and/or paranoia/antiamericanism. Whenever people have no clue of something they have the choice to either get some education, or start to believe. People who didn't really benefit from an educational system chose the easy way and create themself a belief to close their gap of knowledge by pseudo-knowledge. It's basically a method to make themself feel better about their ignorance.

  • @AirSimming

    Just believe that.

If I believe in moon hoax, it's precisely because I have a high level of education.

If I hadn't it, I wouldn't see the problems, and I would probably not be a moon hoaxer.

  • @hunchbacked If you would have a high level of education, you would not need to "believe" that it didn't happen. You would be able to know that it happened and how it happened. In fact you are a believer based on missing knowledge. This is characteristic for moon landing conspiracy theorists.

  • @hunchbacked The moon landing conspiracy theory actually is nothing more than trolling. People who believe it didn't happen don't want to learn, understand and accept. They are defending just an opinion which is mostly based on a paranoid attitude against our system/governments (indirectly calling them liars and frauds). It is just an infantile provokation as a result from missing knowledge and the incapability to realize certain backgrounds and understand science.

  • @AirSimming

    Not in my case.

If I believe in the moon hoax, it's because I have much studied the APollo documentation anf footage, and I have seen too many anomalies.

The operating system of the AGC is absolutely delirious, and I must add that I am a professional computer engineer witha great experience of real time systems.

The electronic interfaces also are full of (intentional) errors.

There is nothing childish in my belief, only rationality.

  • @hunchbacked

    Cut the crap Hunch.

Do you actually know the difference between a schematic diagram and a block diagram?

Watch the latest video of Blisterhiker and learn something from it. And get your nonsense debunked.

  • @Rob260259

    I have watched it.

BlisterHiker has huge misconceptions, and he even says things which are outright wrong.

  • @hunchbacked

You said you are a computer engineer when you did your AGC video's, about a year ago. You also said that you were integral involved in the development of the first microcomputers. You also claimed your neighbour is an aeronautic engineer. And now suddenly and recently, you say you have aeronautics engineering experience yourself. Yeah. Superhunch. What a joke you are.

  • @Rob260259

My neighbour is an aeronautic engineer???

    Whe did I say that?

What I have always said that I originally was an aeronautic engineer, and that I then switched to real time applications in high tech industry.

  • @hunchbacked

Sure Hunch, sure. Tell us all about your video with those 'incoherences' in the electronics of Apollo where you showed us a block diagram, with a box labeled 'analog multiplexer', claiming that while there are digital multiplexers you had never seen an analog one.

You're too funny Hunch. In what French circus do you work?

  • @hunchbacked There is no rationality at all. You are a gasbag just like any other moon landing conspiracy theorist. If you have studied the Apollo Program, and if you continue to talk about a hoax, it is a good demonstration of how you don't understand science and engineering at all. That you claim you are an engineer does not prevent you from making a fool of yourself.

  • @hunchbacked It is the same issue as with climate change. A small fraction of people, mostly non-scientsts (or former scientists which never have worked scientifically in a serious way) make the badly educated people in our society believe, by pseudo-science, that humans have no influence on climate change. This is also mostly the same kind of people which believe in chemtrails or that 9/11 was staged by the US government. It is the outcome of a combination of paranoia and bad education.

  • @hunchbacked But the funny thing is that all this people claim to be particularly smart and to have discovered "the truth". I don't want to be offensive, but this kind of thinking, that the US government has faked the Apollo Program or 9/11 etc. can point to a soft form of mental issues which partly results in a loss of reality.

  • @hunchbacked In the end, it does not matter at all what people do believe. Science is not about believe. The Apollo Program, just like climate change as well for example, is not controversal at all. Outside of professional circles, way outside, there is only a small fraction of badly educated people, which try to fit their own hypothesis to back up their paranoid worldviews. As I said, it is nothing more than to troll by trying to provoke.

  • @AirSimming

I am going to make a prediction:

In some time (how much I don't know) people will laugh about the software of the Apollo computer.

I can promise you that, in my quality of professional computer engineer.

  • @hunchbacked People already laugh about the AGC because it is a museum piece for decades. The same already is the case for the Space Shuttle GPCs (General Purpose Computers, consitsing of old 8086 processors), which are still in operation, and right now in space aboard Endeavour on Mission STS-134 docked to the International Space Station.

Making a prediction of something one obvisously has no clue of is not professional.

  • @AirSimming

It's not because it is old.

It could be old, but perfectly rational and optimally use the possibilities of the computer.

But it is not even the case: The operating system I have seen is completely delirious, full of absurdities, and the programs are full of syntax and logic errors.

I have started to program computers in 1973 (when the programs were still on punch cards), so I know what computers of the time were able of.

  • @hunchbacked If you would have looked into the AGC software, which you haven't very obviously, you would know what it is capable of. We (other developers and me) use it for our Apollo simulation, in combination with a newtonian physics engine that simulates the solar system. It brings the apollo spacecraft to the Moon and back, all based on historic data, just like documented. What you see in the following Youtube video is the AGC emulation (and my graphics by the way): watch?v=hyhI85Rd1kI

  • @hunchbacked What you are doing here is anything but "professional" or rational. You are trying to talk about something of which you have no clue of.

  • @AirSimming

Correction: That you think that I have no clue of.

I'm an aerospace engineer, and in the seventies I have worked on a program of simulation of a missile air-air on a hybrid computer (an analog computer coupled with a digital computer).

I am totally familiar with the computer and electronics of Apollo, I have full clue of it, full understanding of it, and I clearly see the incoherencies in it, and I also see they are intentional.

This weaving of memory is a joke.

  • @hunchbacked The AGC software does not consist of "intentional" incoherencies. Your claim, apart from your website, points out that you are very obviously neither an aerospace engineer, nor a professional computer engineer who is familiar with the computer and electronics or anything else or Apollo at all. You are somebody who is trolling in the internet by distributing conspiracy theories. You are free to do so. But be aware that your mental cinema does not change historic and scientific facts.

  • @hunchbacked Only your sentence, that weaving of the memory is a joke, does show that you really have no clue of the AGC at all.

  • @hunchbacked

    "a joke"

The joke here is you Hunch. I can't understand why you anxiously try to get deeper and deeper into the swamp you created yourself. You claim to have long ago worked on the electronic guidance system for some French missile. Were those tests a success? You also claimed to be a computer expert and to have taught computer science for a living. Your video about the block diagram is a laugh.

  • @Rob260259

I am not in a swamp; the swamp is Apollo.

I'm just trying to open the eyes of people who want to keep them stubbornly shut.

  • @hunchbacked

Why do you use fantasies and lies for these eye openers?

  • @hunchbacked

How about that French missile Hunch? Did it work the way 'you' planned?

    LOL

  • @Rob260259 And you have people who like to call themself "journalist", "autor", or "scientist". Those who write/broadcast all their nonsense and make money with their ignorance. But they are mostly neither journalists, nor scientists if you look into their biographies, and never serious personalities of professional circles.

  • @MarsFKA

I was 16 when the moon landings happened.

I remember that a film maker saw them and said: "It can only be fake".

I remember seeing photos of Apollo 11 in a magazine; later I have studied them and seen that they were full of incohrencies; the incoherencies were showing on the photos, and people were not seeing them so much they were fascinated.

  • @hunchbacked

"I do not understand it, so it must be fake"

  • @Rob260259

"I do not understand why it is fake, so it must be true"

  • @hunchbacked

It's true because credentialed scientists, physicists, engineers, astronomers, geologists, specialists in aeronautics, aerospace, dynamics, radiology, mechanics, communications, chemistry from around the globe have acknowledged the landings.

It's a shame that fools like you can puke their arrogance, ignorance, dishonesty and intractable conceit on internet just like that, trying to make them feel like mental big shots.

  • @hunchbacked The inconsistency reside in the subconscious memory as sort of a pimp slap programing called a false paradigm. Were people are forced to believe a lie. And than lie apon lie a society is control to believe something that is wrong.

  • @websuspect

That's the story of geocentrism; people used to believe in geocentrism for two reasons:

    1) the theory of geocentrism had existed for a long time, so it had to be true, because, if it was strong, it would not have existed for a so long time.

    2) The theory of geocentrism was supported by the public authorities, and the public authorities could not be wrong, for, if they were wrong, who would be right then?

That's the way falsehood can be perpetuated along time!

  • @hunchbacked And that would refer to Platos? Alagory of the show puppets on the walls of the cave. Although Geo centrism as you put it is more sophisticated than Sock puppets.

  • @hunchbacked you should know about falsehood better than anyone.

  • @1MtnBoy

Oh yes, I know, for I can clearly see it.

  • @hunchbacked I think your a genius, I don't know why NASA has never sought your advice. I think you could finally get us to the Moon. I think you should call them and offer your clearly superior clarity.

is that clarity the reason you blocked me during our last PM session ? as I answered all your AGC questions one by one ? which you blindly dismissed yet refused to offer any explanation why ?

that's a unique version of clarity you have there, ignore facts, claim anything without proof. genius!

  • @1MtnBoy

Oh sorry, I was not even aware I had blocked you, it was not intentional.

Sometimes I want to answer and I click the block button instead because it is misplaced; it has happened to me several times today; I am furious against Youtube because Youtube does not even ask for a confirmation; Youtube is full of bugs.

    I have unblocked you.

  • @hunchbacked wow, that's very decent of you. Thanks.

  • @1MtnBoy

I didn't intend to block you, I made it by mistake.

Generally I realize I have hit the block button by mistake, and I immediately unblock, but for you I had not noticed it.

I was wondering why you had suddenly stopped to pm me, but I thought that you had said to me all you wanted to say.

It is very exceptional that I block somebody; if I do, it is because he has particularly upset me by an extremely provoking attitude.

  • @hunchbacked only my wife thinks I am extremely provoking sometimes, lol.

    fair enough, thanks.

  • @1MtnBoy

    No, you are not provoking.

You know I have not even blocked the one who once called me a dog rapist and that my mother was savagely raped.

This shows that I don't easily block.

But it may happen that I am so irritated by the attitude of somebody that I finally block him; he really has to have gone over the hedge to deserve that; most times I quickly unblock him.

  • @hunchbacked Well, now that you have been polite enough to unblock me, perhaps you would like to continue our conversation ? and explain how the Surveyor-3 camera & soil scoop were returned to Earth without Conrad and Bean landing on the surface and removing them from the probe.

  • @1MtnBoy

About discussing with you, there is no problem, I am always willing to discuss with Apollo believers.

Often the discussion ends with the Apollo believers blocking me because I did not agree with them.

You can always propose me all the arguments you want, but I strongly doubt you will convince me, because I really have seen too many anomalies to be that easily convinced.

  • @hunchbacked I propose no arguments, I simply ask that you be truly objective as I present a couple of facts that will compel anyone who is claiming to be truly objective examining the facts at face value. I only ask the same zeal and logic used to support your "anomalies" be used to examine mine. only these are not anomalies they are simple facts. easily verified by anyone.

    * how did the camera & soil scoop from Surveyor-3 get back to Earth, and on display at the NASM, if not for Apollo-12 ?

  • @hunchbacked LoL, you really need to drop that "anomaly" line. You seem to like to use it as a catch all for anything you suspect that is not immediately explained. There are "anomalies" everyday in ordinary life, you don't need to go around adding more into an already complex subject simply to fuel doubt about something simple but just not completely understood yet. If you truly examine the evidence for & against the Apollo landings you must admit the facts far outweigh the anomalies 100 to1 ez

  • @1MtnBoy

I am not talking about some anomalies, I am talking about an incredible heap of anomalies, and in all domains: Photos, videos, mechanics of the flight, electronics, computer, control...

That makes really a lot, too much to be ignored.

  • @hunchbacked I never said ignored. I said be objective.

let's be realistic. Even if hoaxers had 1,000 anomalies to list, the supporting evidence is in the order of 900,000 individual items ( and I am being generous ) that is still 900 to 1 in favor of Apollo !

As I mentioned earlier we could take each item you have 1 by 1 and I will debunk some of the classics for you if you like ? but if you do not wish to be sincerely objective, and maintain preconceptions ? there's no point wasting time.

  • @hunchbacked even if EVERYTHING about Apollo-11 was suspect. you still did not answer the question regarding Apollo 12.

how was the Surveyor-3 camera returned to Earth ?

  • @1MtnBoy

And what tells you that this camera was on the moon?

  • @hunchbacked Facts.

    assembly and launch.

Surveyor 3 took over 6,000 pictures while on the Moon.

The video and pictures of the Apollo 12 crew cutting it off and bagging it up.

    lab analysis pictures at JPL.

the obvious physical damage from UV exposure on the plastic case and the Nylon wire ties on the wiring harness in plain sight at the NASM, also the portions of the case cut off for analysis.

then there's that pesky "serial number" fact.

this camera serial number ends in #3

    proof enough.

  • @hunchbacked let's not talk anomalies let's talk about facts for a change, how about that Surveyor-3 camera ?

  • @FatFreddy88 The Apollo Program is an historic event. Much like the Holocaust and 9/11 as well. What individuals do or rather want to believe about it is irrelevant in all objectivity. Credo quia absurdum - Belief is an irrational effort of will and does belong to subjectivity. In context of the Apollo Program, the opinion of average Joe does not matter historically and less than ever scientifically.

  • They had better well test the program before weaving it, LOL!

  • Anyway it's not really the AGC which was guiding the space ship, it was not powerful enough.

Analog computers were much more efficient, better mastered, and very reliable.

All AGC could do was to provide a human interface, and realize some functions the analog computer couldn't do, but it couldn't have controlled the space ship alone.

  • hanks God Microsoft did not existed in the 60's, or the empire Space Race to the Moon would be fucked up.

  • What a surprise. The series has been taken down due to copyright infringement... you know what, youtube? FUCK you. I'm so tired of this fucking website. You just don't care.

  • ZUKE696 IS SUSPENDED

one of the best channels creators and submitters has been deleted by you tube, utter stupidity, and to keep videos on creationists and anti science nutters doesn't make sense, he was the ambassador for scientific journalism, and he will be sadly missed

  • @srosefx

    I second that!

  • @srosefx

For your information: Zuke is back!

    w w w . youtube . com/user/Zuke969

  • @Rob260259 yeah i just found that out, cheers matey. long live free assess to documentary material

  • @bigfist255 - you moron. die.

  • Amoebas don't die. They vanish...

  • Moon landings aside, this video has incredible video quality.

  • capcom had many sims where the 1201/02 alarms were thrown in to train so they knew what these alarms were yet show us an old clip of a training sim when showing apollo 11 to make it look like mission control are worried.same as the lies that everone watched the landing live which is a lie! No one saw the moon landing live.

  • I've got 6 gigs of ram.... lol

  • i laughed out loud

  • That is incredible. I never knew about cord memory.

  • L.O.L. Method. The world is a funny place.

  • indeed

  • how did they comed back from the moon a life..

  • LET US COLONIZE THE MOON NOW!!

  • ahhhhhhhhh. those were the days.

  • 2:50 I think we should still call it the LOL method

  • lol method? These engineers were awesome.

  • "We made it up as we went along"

    Like most software ever written.

  • So true...

  • What is show is this a part of? I want to see the whole thing!

  • Thank you for the link

  • @200609 It's called Moon Machines (six episodes), you can buy it on Amazon.

  • the lol method.2:50

  • Thank you so much for this!
