  • this helped with revision. Thx

  • Some fruit and vegetables are acidic in their natural state but after they pass through the digestive system and mix with the digestive juices they leave an alkaline ash. Meat products after they are digested leave an acid ash. Please look up "Alkaline Food Chart" on your search engine for further explanation.

  • @Micgeo65 that is true!

  • very good :)) 10/10

  • @MrGreenvision

in the blood or urine ?

  • Eating food with a low or high pH dosn't make much diffrence for your body.

The food you eat wil become acidic after landing in the stomach acid and getting dissolved by it.

It's the content that matters for your health.

Also, if you eat alot of acidic stuff, you might experience sour regurgitations, and if you eat alot of alkaline food you might experience a hard stomach and getting a hurting stomach.

Your teeth on the other hand dislike acidic food/drinks, they disolve by the low pH.

  • Hi, do u have an idea if chick peas r alkaline? I found sites that list it as alkaline but found also sites (mainly from the US) that list is as acid

  • @msn7777 All the people living good lives do this. My physiology teacher who was a marathoner told me the same thing. He had NOTHING to gain from telling us about the pH scale.

  • Becareful Lemons and otrer citrics are acids, they are made of Citric acid, it all depends how ur body absorbs them, the blood is a buffer solution and it turns the lemon's acid into it's alkaline base, all this alkalizing is fine, but there are other chemical reactions in your body than acid/base, anti-oxidants found in wine which is a bit acid, but still contribute to your health, because they participate in oxydant-reduction reaction, they save your DNA

  • Why does my doctor say I need to have 6.0...I have 7.0 or 7.5

  • dr. sebi has said that spinach, broccoli, tomatoes, carrots are all acidic. they are unnatural hybrid foods. there is alot of confilcting information when it comes to what foods are on the ph scale, i dont understand the conficlting views ...seems it should be a simople measrurement

  • What about oranges? They are acidic.

  • Oranges, grapefruit, lemons, lime, tomatoes, etc. As long as they are in the "raw" state (not prcoessed in any way, shape, or form) will have an alkaline pH on the body. To confirm, eat nothing but oranges and grapefruit for the day. Then take a pH strip and check your urine. You will find the pH to be alkaline. Note: lemons actually have a very high alkalizing effect on the body. Hope this helps.

  • @gth670x oranges are about 9.1 pH but lemons are about 2.751. a wasp sting or a bee sting? bee is acid and wasp is base. people think wasps are similar to bees. really, they're only in colour and they both have a sting
