    >MFW YOU FUCKING YANKS HAVE THE CHEAPEST FUEL WHEN HERE; WE PAY €480 FOR 600L OF FUEL THIS WINTER, AGAIN.

  • @patachu666 One of the FEW intelligent comments on this board.

  • I use a Babington Burner on WVO to heat my SHOP out here in Oilberta. WVO is easy to get here, nobody wants it! Totally free.

  • lol man i know this is an old video considering i just had some oil delivered and it was 4.88 a gal i wish it was only 2.31 a gal lol

  • 2.31 wow thats pretty cheap quit your belly aching

  • buy a wood stove a support your local economy

  • You certainly make a drama over a simple, every day event!

  • go WVO - it's free!!

  • this is BS.

  • I am looking for a video of someone dropping a lighted match into a beaker of oil. (it will just go out) and/or a photo of a beaker of oil to show that is just a clear liquid, not the tarry mess everyone thinks it is. :-)

  • nizmojoeblows: I am not trying to say buy this guy's video and infact if anyone paid for it, they deserved to be suckered. I am replying on your comment that it is possible if anyone have sludge in their system and the oil truck guy can stir up sludge causing clogging issue in the system.... or maybe they just delivered me bad oil.....

  • and you aren't the only one paying for oil--so stop fucking crying about it. you are a grown up, you should realize how the world works. if oil is too much money for you why don't you make some more fucking money? use the vast knowledge(!) you have to do it.

  • It's not about how much money you make, lots of times its how much money you keep. It's about the best value for your money and makeing sure that you get what you pay for. I'm just mirroring what a lot of people are already thinking about. The more people know about a bad company, the more they'll appreciate a good company. If you're a good company you need'nt be worried. Sounds like you're having a really bad day. Chin up work hard and fly straight and everything will work out for you.

  • if someone doing the filling, stirs up sludge some how in the tank that you own....it is not their fault. It is you fault for not having the tank serviced properly. You can't blame the "big oil companies" for a problem that the installer or homeowner created. And you definitely can't blame "Bill" who's filling the tank. You are very misinformed sir and I pity you.

  • but if that guy is lazy and just full bast on the nozzle instead of turning it on slowly to get the job done fast.... that lazy guy stirred up sludge and caused the burner to clog....... can I blame that deusch bag ?? unfortunately, it just happened to me.... and the new filter clogged 1 weeks later after refill.....

  • is you're tank outside? as someone has already stated, even with the fill hose valve just cracked a bit there is still a whole lot of oil going in the tank and any sludge that is in there is going to be stirred up anyways. The sludge forms ONLY because of water in the oil. Getting there by condensation or leaks. If you have an indoor tank almost all of these things are avoidable.

  • I am not saying filling a tank doesn't stir up sludge. I am saying it shouldn't be there to begin with under proper conditions. You should look deeper into the issue instead of at the tip of the ice berg. The fact is modern oil tank installations are engineered to avoid this exact problem. If installed in ideal conditions and installed properly sludge build up in a tank will go unnoticed.

  • @nizmojoeblows , I am in the Oil industry and Nizmoojoe is 100% correct. The tank in this Video must be VERY OLD or this guy has Never had the tank cleaned. I understand he tried to help but it really is Bad imFo

  • Did Bush and 9/11 really make you're entire country so fucking stupid? Yes sir everything is a cover up and a conspiracy...and 9/11 was an inside job to get more oil so they could raise the price right? lol man some people will never grow up.

  • @jbogs1 You're a moron, plain and simple!

  • you are not trying to help anyone out. Why don't you just tell people the "secrets" on here? for free? Why does someone have to pay you to supposedly save money? Go fuck yourself man. I will gladly give anyone on here more useful information then yourself and I will not charge one penny.

  • if you want to tell people some ways to save money great, but don't fucking bullshit people that don't know any better because you're a fucking loser buddy. People like you are the reason this place is going to shit. Buy a book--worthless fucking scam artist bitch.

  • Let me guess your an oil guy right? After your rant you cant be serious that I'm the reason the oil business is going to hell? If you treat your customers or prospects like the way you just responded to me your doing way more harm to the industry then a guy like me hands down!

  • The oil business is going to hell because it is an outdated, dirty way of heating a home. No one in a fucking fill truck is trying to screw you over like you are trying to make people think. Those people are doing their jobs, and doing them correctly. No one completely fills a tank, that would be stupid. I'm an oil guy and I have not touched the dirty shit in months. It's on it's way out the door and unless gas is not available to you then I suggest you make some changes.

  • if installed and maintained correctly, there is nearly 0% chance of any sludge formation on an indoor tank installation--like yours. most codes dictate that tanks now be sloped towards the burner (previous thought was tilt it away to have water build up on top of the oil) to simply burn any trace amounts of water that may be in the tank or oil being delivered.

  • oh man, I don't even know what to make of this or where to begin?....the lack of knowledge? or the minimal amount of useful knowledge that's being trashed and used in way never intended.....Jbogs are you the narrator of this video? What are the credentials/certificates you possess? You're videos are less informative and more conspiracy oriented and I think you should post a disclaimer in ALL videos you post denoting the fact that it consists of opinionated scare tactics and false information.

  • OBAMA IS A TERRORIST!

  • JBOGS1 Let me go out on a limb and guess you took a marketing course at a community college and you purchase fuel for your oil burner so now you are an expert. Everyone on this comment string is wrong and you are right. Why are you discounting the credibilty of a commentor that delivers oil and runs his own business. No one respects a basher. New people reading your viewpoints are having a laugh at your expense.

    Have a Happy New year

  • The world is flat... the queen and everyone else says its so, so it must be so! Its not your fault its called social proof. If you dont know enough about the subject you fall on the side of what everyone else is doing (right or wrong). That leaves great opportunity for the person that sees the big picture. Unfortunatly many businesses struggle with this. That's why there are so many business failures. You can't help people that dont want to be helped or just dont get it.

  • your video and the statements it contains make zero sense. he should have stuck the hose up your butt and turned it on "full bore"

  • you must be one of those pissed off angry oil delivery guys that hate their job, screw your customers, have no idea how to market your way out of a paper bag and don't have a clue on where to start. Do your self a favor and get another job

  • What does marketing have to do with anything? Everyone else is trying to give good advise and you seem to be stuck on marketing. Bug off.

  • I'll bet your a decent guy working hard at making a living & your missing the most important part of your business... MARKETING. with out it you'll fail or struggle along. with it you could dominate your market. In business it's all about marketing just ask all the big sucessfull brands in all the other industries. Considering your attitude towards it its no wonder your still struggling. Smarten up and pay attention to other industries dont listen to the dinosauers in the industry.

  • If I spent all my time worrying about marketing my company i wouldnt have time to take care of my customers. Obviously you have no idea how much it cost to run adds. Who is going to pay for those adds? My customers? Is that what you call customer service? Stick to what you know. Nothing.

  • This guy is running a newsletter on his heating oil secrets? Why not use this communication technology to help educate your nieghbor on common sense in the house. Instead this condescending gentleman is looking to possibly fleece unsuspecting homeowners with his low tech "secrets". Like past commenter specified just do not let your fuel run out and make sure you have the burner cleaned at least every other year changing the filter at the tank

  • Like the cliche ... common sense is not so common. Do your self a favor, come off your high horse and realize their are people out there that miss things that you consider common sense... and it cost them money. No fault of their own, if you've never been an oil heat customer it's easy to make mistakes

  • Letting your oil tank run down to near empty, in older tanks always involves a service call.

usually everything has to be replaced, at least cleaned, pump strainer, nozzle, and oil line blown out.

most service contracts do not cover this,,,for obvious reasons, such as people always let the oil run empty and want the companies to bail them out for free. how about not going to the casino, and buy oil instead?

  • If you fill the tank fast it'll kick up the sludge in the tank and you'll need a service call for sure. How about instead of having the companies bail them out for free... how bout' doing a slooow fill so the crud at the bottom doesnt get mixed and create a problem in their systems. It's about putting your customers 1st instead of putting yourself first. Thats the reason why so many oil companies are struggling. They need to learn good customer service and good marketing.

  • to Handle slude problem all you have to do is when you get a delivery shut the emergency switch off for about 2-3hours to let the crap settle back to the bottome of the tank and then turn it back on.

  • 15 minutes

  • That's a great idea. Even better have your oil guy fill your tank slooow so the sludge doesnt gat kicked up inthe 1st place?

  • If you`ve got an underground tank with that much sludge maybe it`s time to remove it.

  • Insurance companies are making money for the tank removal services. in NJ you can't sell a house with one. I remember having to pull one out because of it (Ins. Co's.) and the 55 year old underground double-walled, tarred out the ass looked like it was put in last week!!

  • no way its not a big deal.. I mean we put 800 gallons once a year and we dont hae to worry about it. that alone is worth not removing it. You do not need the heater running at all one day in the summer. Also since my orginal posting people Dealing with sludge get a product called FUEL RIGHT it is a bit expensive $12 for a bottle of it but it "SEEMS" to really help break down the sludge. my oil company is considering adding it to there fuel oil just to make it better.

  • Instead of letting your tank run almost out, why don'y you keep it filled? I own an oil company and it's people like you that are a big pain in my ass. Wait until you run out then call in an emergency delivery and when your heating system messes up you blame us.

  • The fact is you are to blame! If you filled the tank sloow instead of full throttle you'd have less problems, happier customers and long term have a financially healthier business. Oil guys need to look at their business from another perspective if they want to be sucessful.

  • Oil trucks pump 77 gallons a minute on full flow and 56 on low flow. Even on low flow if a tank is empty or less than 1/4 you are going to stir up sludge. It has nothing to do with running a business ,ass.

  • Its all about running your business. Piss off a customer or they think you did them wrong your business is screwed. If you pump it fast and kick up sludge and their furnace shuts down guess what you're the bad guy and they leave you. Take it slow and reduce the chance of a clog up your a hero and they love you. Your telling me keeping a customer has nothing to do with running a business? Who's an ass now?

  • Your the hero because their system didn't mess up? Don't think so. If I deliver oil and leave and their system doesnt mess up you really think they think it's because i didnt fill their tank fast? Where are you from?

  • I take it you live up north, in the south Oil fired furnaces and boilers are rare, we use natural gas, LP, Electric heat and Heatpumps...Oil here is 2.50 a gallon !!

  • i live in NJ and we get natural gas heat

  • there were no secrets revealed thanks for nothing!!!!

  • why do you have to piss the driver off he is just doing his job

  • This is why you use a filter on all fuel and oil. Check and replace when necessary.

  • So you are not looking forward to the oil delivery truck . Here's a real simple way to not see it pull up in front of your house . Don't place an order. If I were the driver, after the 4th time you bitched directly or indirectly about the price of oil, the amount of the bill, the amount of oil , etc. I would have told you that you should get gas heat .

  • use coal!! cheap as hell!!

  • WOW!!!...this is pretty much the most worthless video on youtube...nothing more needs to be said...

  • @Hubilizer20 This guy says a whole bunch of nothing! It's all a bunch of babbling. This guy's an absolute clown.

FYI, I'm in the hating oil industry for over TWENTY years.

  • @Hubilizer20 Seriously... I thought there was going to be a POINT at the end. but No, just a dude whining about the price of oil like a little girl. Heres an idea, convert to NAT GAS, or install a wood burning stove, and you wont have to cry so much any more..

  • Help! my Home heating Oil Delivery guy filled my tank with gasoline by accident! (filled truck with wrong stuff) I had over half a tank of oil so im guessing theres only about 25% of gasoline in there. This is all I have to heat my home and they can't fix it for a while. Can I still run the furnace? it seems to be running now just fine...

  • 1- meter at the back of the old shit ... probably stealing you ... 2- you'd rather have oil in suspension than in the bottom, the problems occur whe you run out of fuel because the soil is sucked in the line that goes to the furnace, instead of the oil. otherwise it doesnt matter so much ...

  • if i was the driver, i would have beaten your ass,,, with that fucking camera!

  • If you were my driver I would beat your ass because you look, speak and smell like your from East Rockaway!... ie..Lowlife!

  • eastrockaway11518

if i was the driver, i would have beaten your ass,,, with that ing camera!

    -----------------

Whip him with the oil hose. Once he's knocked out, the oil man sprays him in the face with oil to wake him up! No savings with my method!!! o.o

  • @99minerkc Better yet with the nozzle from the hose! This jbogs is an absolute moron.

  • atleast there is no monthly charge like saying having a meter at your house or paying tank rental on lp gas..in ontario it is illegal to have an underground tank unless you want a big hassle

  • natural gas is pretty fucking bad also!

  • I'm looking at a $10,000 fillup this winter. $4.30~ gallon on the spot market today. No where but up is the price of oil going.
