You guys get to check out this spot in kingston, its the eddyville bridge that's 60 ft and then if you climb the arch its 90 to 100 ft its scary but allot of fun

lol, I am the former "fat kid", and I am lucky enough that I have never really messed up cliff jumping... Most of these places are in my home town so I've been doing this for a long long time...

When we shot this we measured all the cliffs and bridges here are the heights I remember...

Furlongs Bridge - 53' from the deck

Fawns Leap - 25' from main rock 40' from tree & rock

Mosquito Point Bridge - 25' from deck 40' from top

The Cove - 12' from main rock

furlongs is the best. I go almost every weekend. It sucks though cuz the highest thing you can do is the bridge which is only 80 feet =(

This is all surrounding Hunter Mountain, most are on the same road as hunter a few miles before or after the mountain. There are also a few shots from another place in East Durham off of 145.

The bridge is off of 145 behind a bar called furlongs. There are 3 lights on 145 in East durham and it is the last one as your heading west. Turn right and it is 100ft from the road...

Let's all be careful how far we spread the locations of these wonderful jumps around. As any of you can attest who've been going to the Hunter are for at least a few years, a number of these jumps have been absolutely overrun with assholes. Ratz hole has gotten so crowded with drunks and partiers, there are days you can't get near the ledge to jump off. Then later in the day, they all bring their grills, boom boxes, little babies, and grandmothers up to Fawn's Leap.

LOL, I've been jumping at these places for the last 20+ years and the one thing that hasn't changed is that it's always over run by people who don't respect their surroundings... That's why locals like me have been cleaning up after people from off the mountain for decades...
