  • El Abakuá es un tipo de folklore Afro-Cubano diferente de la Rumba,es originario de la region del Calabar y se canta en lenguaje Carabalí; los “toques abakuá” se ejecutan con unos tambores específicos (Kuchiyeremá,Elobapá,Biapá y Bonkóechemiyá) en estos “toques” se hace bailar a unos diablitos llamados Iremes. La manera de moverse de los Iremes,sus evoluciones, pasos, ademanes y gestos es algo fascinante, son personajes que bailan privados de la visión.
