  • O_O O_O O_O O_O O_O O_O

  • NS knows how to play axle ball lol

  • Hello 240p, we meet again you jerk

  • HE ALSO WENT INTO EB(EMERGENCY BRAKING)

  • STUPIDITY AT ITS FINEST

  • Badass Kick Flip by the trailer

  • It's fake.

  • I am amazed everytime I watch this how quick the Engineer got this train stopped! Incredible!!!!

  • how did this camera know it was going to happen...

  • is the train ok?

  • I logged over 10 safe driving miles and only got hit by one train.

  • THE CONCEPT IS NOT THAT HARD. HEAR TRAIN, SEE TRAIN, MOVE

  • "...did the train died?"

  • poetry in collision

  • i beat it didnt even leave a scratch on that train

  • im bet thomas the train would be like "FUCK!!!"

  • A train hits a "simi" truck. The title should be "I stole this video from somebody else"

    Illiterate and a thief, congratulations.

  • The arrogance of the trucking industry

  • TADINHU DO CAMINHAO

    DEU DÓ

    SERÁ Q ELE MORREU?

  • @Nbuilder1 it depends on the size and the load of the train too

  • WOW what an idiot truck driver. The truck was like a fly on the wall and the train was the fly swatter "splat". It takes at least two football fields to stop a fully loaded train.

  • @Nbuilder1 How do football fields stop a train? I always thought they used the things called brakes...

  • @DMagers what they mean is that it takes the length of several football fields for them to stop. With that much momentum a train cannot stop in 30 feet while going 50 mph like a car, they take a few dozen miles depending on how much weight they are pulling.

  • @xm377Moyocoyatzin Duh,,,, If you read the original comment it said "it takes several football fields to stop the train." I know it takes a long distance to stop, but that's not what the sentence said. It's a joke, son...

  • DID YOU SEE THE TRUCK??? NAME ON THE HOOD SAYS IT ALL...

  • ----- move!

  • damn that truck got knocked the fu(k out!

  • hey, wtf? move! BOOM! *2 hours to stop train*

  • Fail

  • the train should have swerved, bad train driver.

  • @dariod2007 its not possible to shop a huge train with in a second...........

  • @21koushik2009 you missed my joke, trains can't swerve. oh well....

  • I didn't hear a horn on this train, did you.

  • @kennethrobinson11231 doesnt matter the crossing lights were flashing i could hear the bell going off on them as well as the locomotive bell its up to the motorist to get the hell off the tracks

  • @kennethrobinson11231 Some towns the train is not allowed to blow its horn. this could be one of them.

  • @kennethrobinson11231 Would help a lot in this case)))

  • "ooh..be careful ...watch the old man walking slow..."

  • The driver of that train made no attempt to swerve to avoid that collision……

  • haha truckers always acting like there so big and tough. well now they know about trains

  • I just love the break squeal of a train

  • does that mean i wont be getting my package?

  • that wuz just a love tap!

  • what idiot would think that he/she could win a race with a train an a railroad crossing

  • You're a strange type o' person, bud.

  • 6 people wanted the truck to win.

  • It's funny how the Train conductor decides to stop after he hits the truck. It like he wanted to crash into the truck to show who is boss.

  • @RerailMe You GORMLESS jerk - do you think the train runs on rubber tyres!? Talk about gene pool - more like gene puddle in your case. What hope is there for us when there's morons like you around??!!

  • @telmas Hey asswipe, if you noticed on the vid, the engineer could have seen the truck from a distance and tried to stop the train or make it slow enough to not crash so hard into it. AND...the train maintained the same velocity until the truck was hit. Once he hit the truck,..THEN..he decides to put the brakes. I know it takes time to stop. Look how fast the train stopped after he struck the truck....if we wanted to, he could have put the brake as soon he saw it from the distance.

  • @RerailMe LOL D'ya know, the more you write the more ignorance you display! I've been driving trains for 25+ years and you know NOTHING!! All you see is a train hove into view in the clip two engine lengths! He may have just come round a bend or been braking from a much higher speed for a considerable distance! Jerks like you make these crass comments without the faintest knowledge of railway operation. Keep to ya models. More in keeping with ya brain size!!

  • @telmas Dont defend the conductor of that train. He knows he did it on purpose. He wanted to show who was boss so he crashed the truck. Case Closed.

  • @RerailMe Equally, don't attack him because as I said in my previous missive, YOU KNOW NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!

And now the case is closed!

  • @telmas Telmas and the train conductor got married and lived happily ever after! What a great ending! lol

  • @RerailMe Subterfuge (go look it up) can't help ya now jerky. The more ya write, the stupider ya look. The situation ain't changed, YOU KNOW NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go play with ya toy trains LMAO

  • @RerailMe *facepalm*

  • @Trainaholic2946 *pimp slapped*

  • @RerailMe Say man, ARE YOU SERIOUS? No offense sir, but you could not possibly be that stupid, could you?

  • @hootenzie Yup! :)

  • @RerailMe When you see vehicles on the track from a distance you do not put on the brakes (unless you suspect the vehicle is trapped or abandoned). If you did that, you would never make it anywhere. You are trained to just keep going. That is basically the way railroads operate around the world.

If I applied the brakes every time a vehicle pulled in front of me or did something stupid, I would be constantly on the brakes. Fortunately what you see here is fairly rare.

  • @Boss302fan Thanks! :)

  • • Watch the Runaway Train video on this channel. Train was started by a 5 year old boy at the controls.

  • i bet the driver as like o dam what the fuck was that o just a train wait were the hell did my trailer go god damit

  • to me it looks like the "chuck Norris express"...it just flips the truck over and out of the way!! WAY TO GO TRAINS!! :D :D :D

  • ive been to truck driving school, and that is one of the questions on the test. "flashing red lights at a railroad crossing means what?"

  • What truck?

  • er hat ihn zerlejt xD

  • Train: Move it Move It!!! Truck: I cant ;( im too happy to move Train: Well move it or u will be sad1!!! Truck:No i will not move Train: O ye??? DIE MOTHA FUCKER **BLAM**

  • Ns taking one truckload off the road at a time!!!

    haha

  • PWND

  • train once again kicks the truck's ass

  • It's strange that you can hear everything as they collide and the train engineer never thought to blow his horn. I know maybe it wouldn't matter, however he should have blown his horn anyway.

  • @Donincal: Think before you write. Think about it old fart, the video clip starts 3 seconds before the crash. Yeah blow the horn 3 seconds before the inevitable.

    Go figure!

  • @lkfh Know what 's up before you eat your foot. This is the short video. The train had time to hit the horn and did not. It might not of made a big difference but the engineer should have laid on the horn right through the crash? Why didn't he? Wake up sleepy head. The rules of the rail or very clear. Put down the pipe and take off the head phones. You driving t a train.

  • Trucker getting owned.

  • Truck: This is madness!

Train; Madness? THIS - IS - SPARTA!!!!!!!!

  • Train: MOVE THA FUK OUTTA THE WAY! Truck: Awwww piss!

  • NS FALCON PUNCH!!!!!!

  • lol

  • norfolk southern power lol

  • Fuck you I'm a train!

  • Stolen video.

  • shit happens :)

  • i notice thing the train horn was NOT BLOWING AT THE TIME HE WAS GOING OVER THE CROSSING. so i think the engineer ducked below the controls at this point. do i blame him? no not at all. stupid truck driver does not know what a freight train is. so he decided to play smokey and the bandit on the train tracks. he is now the only truck driver i know with a freight train stuck up his ass.

  • raw uninhibited power !!

  • theres something extremely phallic about this video

  • failed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • DEEESTROYED

  • holy shit

  • i wondered why the train stopped instead of just going on about his day then i realised they had to exchange insurance info & whatnot.....

  • @uworryboutit haha That was good.

  • move your ass...literaly

    description fail

  • OWNED!

  • this should be a norfolk southern commercial.

  • @RyanSamuelBarry Lol - Norfolk Southern.....Getting rid of our competitors. :) with a smile. Lol

  • (sigh) Another truck bit the dust

  • The important thing to observe in this and all videos of railroad crossing accidents is that the train is moving with such a powerful momentum, that the truck doesn't slow it down a bit. It takes less energy to accelerate a semi from 0 to 40 in an instant than it does to slow a freight train, even a little bit.

  • did any one notice the rigs trailer's wheels and axles go flying?

  • looks like overnite truckload division.. less one driver..

  • If you look closely it is a four gate crossing. Meaning the gates directly in the travel lanes close first and then the second pair close to keep people from driving around. It looked as if the truck bypassed the first set and was driving across when the second set tried to close. Look ma I think I can (NOT)

  • More brakes? Come on, this is scary that someone would post that. A single locomotive weighs something like 140 to 220 tons. That is ONE LOCOMOTIVE! A loaded hopper car has 100 tons of coal in it, and there are usually 60 to 120 cars per train! How about this. Don't be a dumbass and pull out in front of a train. Look, Listen, and Live

  • @M1AShooter72 yeah but i have to say, thatr train stopped really quickly for something that weighs like a million tons

  • @USMANchampNO1

It can´t, but believe me, they will find out a way to make those trains stand still much faster. Maybe more brakes, or some other material that.

  • unless they plan on using some sort of retrorocket on every car on the train it is doubtful that any train on modern rail road tracks will ever stop much faster weighing as much as they do. You could always say put down more wheels and brakes, but that won't help. Say they did manage to get trains enough grip to stop faster. Better redesign the tracks then cause the train will destroy them trying to stop and would just end up a smoldering heap on the side of the track.

  • Do you have any idea how much energy it takes to stop something that massive? If you did miraculously create something that would stop the train on a dime, it would likely turn all the cargo, crew and passengers to paste with the sudden decelleration.

The truck should not have been in the crossing. Even if the crossing is not active yet, if it takes longer than 5 seconds to clear a crossing you need to choose another route.

  • And the final score is:

    Norfolk Southern- 1

    Tractor Trailer- 0

Seriously, I hope no one got hurt.

  • Vehicle with most wheels wins!

  • 10 outa 10

  • FALCON PUNCH!!!!!

  • Dumb idiot, trains win.......why risk so much to try to beat a train....?

  • the train didn't even noticed..

  • Actually, in an emergency stop, wheels can block and become flattened, which costs a lot per axle to fix.

  • 10 points

  • the gundam wing zero gundam can stop a train..

  • DAMN!!!

  • train wins by tko!

  • Trains love to smash trucks. It's freight competition.

  • Can you say owned?

  • I onetime saw the gates come down and almost trap a truck and the truck almost got hit by a fast union pacific I didnt have ny camcorder.

  • im sorry truck drives do this all the time, they always want to beat the train and gets hit for it. My uncle is a truck driver and he drives well but he knows a guy who tryed to beat a train and payed the price for it. Fucking idiots.

  • "A train hits a simi truck"

    A "simi truck"??

  • trains are a marvel of technology

  • Man,Thats Insane!.....Possible Suicide attempt!?......

  • My friend BJ was the person who recorded this. He is a avid railfan, this was jacked from his YouTube site shortly after he uploaded it. He started recording right after the train blew its horn, and the train was already in emergancy stop mode. The truck was already going across the tracks when the gates started coming down, traping the driver. This video was shot in Salisbury, NC, just north of the station, at a place called the Salisbury Wye by local railfans. Just telling the facts

  • the gates aren't strong enough to hold back a diesel semi truck.

  • Are you serious that this happend in salisbury.

  • Yea, i'm serious.

  • lol true

  • Driver may have panicked trying to get the truck across the tracks as the lights started flashing and stalled it. Meanwhile the gates are coming down and he hears the horn (before the film starts) this causes more panic and he stalls it again letting the clutch out. Now it is too late as he finally restarts and gets moving. Driving a rig isn't as easy as it looks. You just don't step on the fuel and go. Don't get me wrong, he definitely screwed up, but I'm only offering a possible explanation.

  • demonstration video

Didn't hear the train's horn, at all

someone with a camera just standing there right time right place???

  • i dont know about you but if i were the driver of that train i would have put on the emergency break and got the hell back as fast as i could. So i think that may explain the horn not sounding. as for the camera... well yeah seems a bit odd. even if it was an enthusiast i would have thought he would zoom in or you would hear him say something at the time of impact.

  • no texting while driving dude lol yo i gota catch the train home DOH i mean in gona bring my dog to the dog trainer DOH DOH

  • Christ!! hopefully no one was injured, especially the train engineer

  • they say a train takes a mile to slow down? seemed like it stopped pretty fast to me...?

  • takes a mile to slow down..... preferably without the truck infront of it :P

  • somebody is look'n for a job.

  • dude that truck got owned hard core. trailer did a 180. two words for the driver EPIC FAIL

  • OWNED

  • n1^^

  • Comment removed

  • Who was the truck driver?? What was he thinkin??

  • like a foot and a eartwig

  • If you happened to capture it, why not show more of before the collision?

Also, continue the video to show how long it took for the train to come to a complete stop.

That train slowed and stopped rather well!

  • Why no locomotive horn approaching the grade crossing?

There are many excellent professional truckers.

What is the problem with some truckers and railroad crossings?

All those signals were not enough warning for this trucker?

    Glad no one was hurt.

  • To answer question #1

Because he was probably on the floor after "big holing" it!

  • Thanks DH.

I thought the horn automatically sounded when train was placed into emergency.

Yes, I would watch just up to impact, then duck.

And the horn should not have mattered, anyway.

The crossing is already well protected by advance (RXR) sign, crossbuck sign, flashing lights, lowered gates and ringing bells.

What more warning does one need?

  • Horns do not automatically sound when trains go into emergency.

I am not certain, but this crossing appears to be a double gated no blow crossing. Again, I cannot tell from the video for sure.

  • I dunno. After all its a truck driver we're talking about. Maybe if the crossing signals were made over to look like breasts and the lights could be where the nipples would be, maybe then truckers would want to stop to watch them.

  • Funny.

As boy I claimed the (o) (o) reminded me of Dolly Parton!!

I cannot believe how truckers or anyone can misseeing such obvious and important signals.

  • cool

  • Trains unlike trucks and cars, cannot stop as quick! If you see a gate drop or lights flash, you better get the heck out of the way, or this will happen to you. We speed up going to crossings! Most trains locally go about 5-10 mph, which can do a lot of damage! Believe it or not - that engineer did not feel a thing, and train is NOT damaged!

  • Train: I have 100 times more shit to deliver than you, so OUTTA MY WAY!

  • some people dont know when to draw the line. Making trains hit large trucks for kicks is not OK.

  • lol trains like get the **** out my way!!

  • that was raw but was thr driver of the simi ok??

  • look at the axels on the trailer tumble down the tracks. lucky they did not dig in and derail the train!

  • lol out of the way cardboard box

  • That fool got knocked the fuck out!

  • that trailer flew

  • wow, that train stopped pretty fast!

  • no it really did..i thought they took ages to slow down.

  • under normal braking and at that speed it takes about a mile and a half to safely stop. That train was put into "Emergency braking" thats the same as if you slamed on the brakes and pulled the parking brake in your car. only diffrence is this train is a few million pounds more than your ride..LOL

  • Lmackattack

Slamming on your brakes with your foot is all that is needed .

Pulling the parking brake is worthless.

You need to learn a little about your vehicle.

  • Not really. 1 1/2 miles would be an extremely heavy train going very fast downhill.

Your analogy on pulling the parking break as you slammed down on the pedal is also wrong.

Emergency just means the engineer dumped all the air all at once and the brakes fully applied.

  • You are right!

It IS a full quadrant gated grade crossing.

Thank you. I did not look before.

If not near residences, I would still expect the horn to be sounded.

Otherwise, there is no need to not sound the horn.

Also, an engineer may sound the horn in a quite zone if needed.

So I do not undertsand what is happening here.

Nonetheless, horn is not needed with those good signals and gates.

  • SHIT, thats bad

  • Its not derailing its stopping really quickly

  • Wow...What was he thinking!!! and Y is it no one ever catches a derailment on tape. I have NEVER seen a train derail. cab cams not counting.
