@galactusx2 Pinhead died quite a few times, well technically. He's already dead, so he just got sent back to the gateway. Are you referring to Doug Bradley (the actor who played Pinhead)?

@jix212dx Each movie is different, but all originate with Clive Barker's "The Hellbound Heart". The series concerns the "Cenobytes" (Pinhead, etc), demons of a sort, specializing in extreme S&M. There are those who seek their "pleasurable" torments, and others who resist.

Cenobytes are summoned and dismissed from our reality w\the box. The general rule, though, is that the opener must desire the torments.

Read up on Wiki or watch on youtube. Some movies are great, others not so much.

@jix212dx Do this movie a favor and just DON'T TOUCH IT. Someone who doesn't respect original horror does not deserve to touch this classic. Doug Bradley (Pinhead) himself has a vendetta against remakes, he even has a t-shirt about it.

@jix212dx There is a box called the lament configuration, if you solve it and are a sick person with a lot of desire it tears you apart and takes you to "Hell" (not sure if its christian hell or what). there, the Cenobites dwell. they are demonic beings (used to be humans) who relish in extremes of pain and pleasure and they will introduce you to both for the rest of eternity.
