I am so thankful Steve Perry took me through my Journey for loving and enjoying Rock and Roll. And I am so glad the Journey goes on with Arnel Pineda for this generation. All that matters is the music man......may it flow forever for all our hearts.

There would be Naysayers towards Arnel regardless, but the truth of the matter IS Arnel has delivered with unquestionable talent and singing skill. He is superb and can hold his own for Journey and for all Journey fans. The Naysayers are just jealous and plainly out-of-reality. My suggestion to the Naysayers: Wake up and keep up.

it's really hard to top steve perry, he is a legend... but this new lead singer of journey is undeniable and really good.... a good singer and a good person!

after journey's appearance in oprah, steve perry sent a message to oprah thanking the band and wishing them well.

This is the first lead singer I have actually embraced since Steve Perry. Steve WAS Journey.

Augeri didn't work for me. He's talented, but I really felt like the band was just a shadow of their former selves and they should just call it a day already.

And the guy after him.... never heard him, but I was long over trying to follow Journey at that point.

Arnel Pineda is the first since Perry to really capture that old Journey spirit.

I'm back on board as a Journey follower.

Arnel is the man the real deal the man who landest the hardest gig in rock and roll today JOURNEY, anyone who can sing these songs night in and night out is an incredible talent.Three before him have failed including mr perry. He was here looking at possibly opening a bar/club in the future and checking out the situation. I worked with him doing sound and lighting in an HK bar/club/restaurant where he was performing. I like what he's doing now with Journey but his Queen and other stuff was also exceptional.

I worked with Arnel in Hong Kong a few years ago and knew then what a talent he was - you should have heard him and his old band do Bohemian Rhapsody, amazing! These Journey "fans" writing him and the band off with premature negative comments are clearly not real fans. Thank you to the guy who made and posted this video. I met Arnel in Hong Kong last month - same old likeable, humble guy. I'm very happy for him after a difficult early life.

Journey and Arnel got the best bargain out of each other. Arnel got the voice, relative youth, energy and stage presence they are looking for but not a clone of Steve Perry. And they, Journey, has one of the best instrumentalists, and perfect backing voice to complement Arnel. Bravo Journey!!!! may your legacy of quality music last for young people to emulate

The thing that makes Arnel great as a replacement is his attitude. He is not an arrogoneous asswad like other singers I have seen.

He seems humble, and that's all that's necessary rather he truly is or not.
