  • Maybe CBS will get the NHL back.

  • The balance of amount of sporting events between the Big Four networks and ESPN is almost perfect, but NBC and CBS need more summer programming.

  • You make all good points there. You're right about the "lag" too after the Masters - all they do have is regular PGA Tour tournaments, and with Sir Eldrick out, the viewership levels won't be as high (unless of course Tiger decides to return - no mention in his press conference though when that will be).

  • April 8-Remember that day...he'll be back!

  • Hopefully, in the future, this promo will end with "and coming in 2016, the NBA and WNBA" or 2014 Winter Olympics and 2016 Summer Olympics. We'll have to wait and see.

CBS Sports is fine with top properties, but they don't have that second professional team sport. The last time they did have a second professional team sport was in 1993. Also, CBS Sports is boring from after the Masters to the start of the PGA Championship in April-August. Still pretty good though.

  • @rjpsuh06 ESPN can have the WNBA (lol) and the olympics hopefully in 2012 the NHL

  • @crawford371 I don't really like the WNBA part, but if CBS gets the NBA, they also have to air WNBA games also. I don't think they'll get the Olympics. Probably because of a new deal with College Basketball. This year after the Masters, the only event that was worth watching was Strikeforce Saturday Night Fights, which had a brawl after one of the fights. It wasn't a CBS Sports event, but it was close. Dana White said the right deal needs to come in order for CBS and the UFC to come together.
