I would have loved the Japanese voice/language option. I mean, Falco's voice sounded too ... stereotypical for a Yankee voice. Sonic's is annoying with some quotes. Pit's sounds mediocre (Lani Minella does better with little boys and women than she does with teenaged boys), and Ike's is not very good. Heck, I find myself mocking one of Ike's screams when he goes off screen any direction but up; and, when Ike screams when flying into the background, it makes me think of that one Spacehog song. XD

I do like Jigglypuff's Japanese voice a lot, but thank goodness they still stuck with Rachael Lillis to voice Jigglypuff. I know they replaced a lot of Pokemon voice actors.

And I'll always love the job Junichi Kanemaru does in voice acting, especially Sonic. Some things you don't need subtitles for.

But Lucario's Japanese voice... He sounds a lot younger. Which I'm not saying that's bad. It's good. I prefer it over Bill Roger's job a bit more.

It seems that most of the different things the announcer says are pretty redundant. I mean, what's the point of saying "Pikmin & Olimar" in one version then saying "Olimar" in another? Same goes for the two different intonations of "Pokemon Trainer". Is there any reason for this?

The english voices are way better, i never liked japanese voices in video games, they're really annoying. Also in brawl, they sound really unenthusiastic, and plus the only way you can have kickass taunts like falco's is if they are in english.

When Brawl came out in Japan and everyone in America and Europe was hyped as fuck I always used to watch Japanese videos of Brawl on Youtube... and I thought Ike was soooo badass, I always imitated that "SEN...ZU!!" :D But when it came out in the rest of the world it was kind of a letdown that Ike didn't sound as badass as in Japanese. "SEN...ZU!!!" is way more awesome than "Aetheeer..."

Had there been an option for the original voices, I also would want an option to switch -certain- voices - not all of them.

Fox and Sonic are similar sounding, Pit's is different but more unique, David Hayater's Snake is iconic, and the timbre of Wolf's voice and everything about it is great. But Falco's (the accent), Ike's (too goofy), and Metaknight's (what?) are atrocious. Oh, and the assist trophies. Lyn's voice makes me cry.

I'm not fond of ZSS either but that can't be helped.
