on the english version you just have to level up enough to change to the master class. it kinda makes the master crown useless... and the forging system was also changed, you don't have to sell weapons and earn forging points. where's the challeging part of the game now?

There are. They're just different for every class after first tier, and can get pretty high.

Mia is a prepromoted swordmaster. That was the third tier class change, sword saint.

I guess Mia isn't a Prepromoted Swordmaster in this game and I can't believe that you have up to 60 points for skills in this game! a lot better than the standard 20 or 25 in FE:POR.

do you have to use a master seal to promote units or can you lvl them up to promotet LV1 class?

The Units promote from first tier to second tier upon reaching level 21, and to reach third tier, then you have to use a specific item, which name eludes me at the moment.

They're called Master Crowns, and I believe you get a maximum of 13. Only 18 people can reach third-tier in a single playthrough, not counting those who already come in as third-tier, like Oliver and Stefan. Elincia, Sothe, Micaiah, and Ike all get automatic story-based third tier promotions, and Mist uses a different item to become a Valkyrie.
