Please don't delete me if this is off topic but just in case somebody watching this did not know the red herbs cannot be used alone, but you can combine them with green to make a full health spray which should (at least on easy) refill your health. Whenever I need to use one I give it to my partner and if you are using the AI as her if your health is not at least 75% full she will spray it both her and you to refill both players' health. I find this very useful.

are you playing the demo? because in the full version of the game, when he dies, the chainsaw is still running, and after a couple of seconds after you get the key off him, he gets back up and goes super-berserk, like the brutes did in Halo 2. You can't even run past him, he kills you, and there isnt any safe zone, you gotta go quick, so i dunno if that's a lie or the truth, but i think ur playin the demo

@EarthBoundReaper Yea, this was the demo, look at the date of the video, was about a month before the game was released. And I never heard about that happening with him getting back up, I never encountered it at least.

@lifemeansmore1 Hi the chainsaw guy only gets up the higher your level if your on normal he might get up, hard he differently gets up and goes berserk with the chainsaw which is when i recommend either legging it or getting the shot gun out

@jobFORjose Will take longer to kill him but just pick up ammo, depends how your handgun / weapons are specced if you upgraded them much, just keep runnign around picking up ammo if you're low.

As for the video. Nice :D I am trying to do him myself, at first I thought he was like the tenticle guy where you had to get him in the room to kill him, but now hes as good as dead when try this again >:) Thanks for the video.

Is there a better way to kill this guy, you just have a good shot and it will take only a few seconds without the need of the generator or similar things .. I for example I only used the sniper and his fists to kill him and I had no problem

RE4 was easier in my opinion, though I played that on easy, wheras I am playing Resi 5 onmedium... I liked resi 4 more though... theres hardly any ammo in 5, and if you do have some Sheva goes and wastes it all due to her being on of the most anoying companions in games ever.... True, but you can get a Shotgun at the end of Chapter 1 (its in the house before the house where you run into that 1st Las Plagas chick) using the Old Building Key, which you can get that earlier at the 2nd time you can use the assist jump.

This chainsaw guy, easier than RE4's? In the last game all it took to beat the chainsaw guys was to wait for them to take a swing, walk backwards a bit, knife them in the face to stun them, kick, knife them while they're down, and repeat.

That said, this guy hardly looks unbeatable. I wonder if you can use that old strategy on him though.
