I miss anime network on demand days when i paid 7 dollars a month for episodes in the middle of the series and bought adv dvds for $30 and got 3-5 episodes. It may sound crazy but that was when anime was enjoyable for me. A collection is useless now. I also miss my (wut ppl now call horrible) dubs. I had a lot of fav voice actors/actress. Now sum ppl just annoy me bout it. My dream to watch anime nonstop has become a very depressing nightmare.

well about the anime on tv, here in Holland we dont have much japanese Anime on tv because there is '' too much blood in it, violence,nudity etc.'' ( bunch of crap ) so if we wanna watch it, we either have to download it or watch online. so it helps a lot when people set up a site for these people. :)

I imagine the reason this doesn't work outside of the US is because of contracts and such, i.e. ADV Films (who dubs and produces these titles in the US) don't have the authority/arn't allowed to show these titles outside the US. I imagine if a European company did a similar situation that us American viewers wouldn't be able to access it.

I tried the service - and managed to launch the player, watch a jumpy commercial (bad streaming) and just as the anime I selected to watch loaded it - it crashed my browser! The service is well designed and has a great selection, but the tech side needs a bit of testing (and maybe another streaming partner). BTW I'm able to watch YouTube, DailyMotion, and CNN videos all without crashing.
