Although it uses more energy, it's actually healthier to keep your PC on! The higher the uptime, the better (uptime = how long your PC has been running). I've actually had mine on for about a year now. A common analogy used for this is that it's like a boat. The longer it stays on dock, the easier it rusts. Anyway, that's only for PC performance -- if you're conserving energy then keep it up! ^^
