In '75 or so I heard a Paul Harvey story about the pop rocks and soda and how it killed a kid. In this story the kid had eaten a whole case of them. One of these display boxes held like 50 or so pouches of the stuff. Paul Harvey has a reputation for reporting nothing but the truth though I am sure some fake stories got past. If this one were to be true I think it would take at least the said amount in the clip Paul Harvey spoke of. More than likely too much to safely ingest to begin with.
