Madden has never been the same since it came to 360 and ps3. It was the best for ps2. From the Control of the game to the graphics. The tackling was reaslistic, to the speed of the players. You knew how to use each player.User catching was so exciting when you had randy moss on a fred smoot. Fade routes were fun to master. Now you have automatic catches on 360 the hit sitch can be made by almost any corner now. That wasn't seen on ps2 you know when you had Sean Taylor he was lighting somebody up

The trick to MADDEN 06 is to not try to use all the offensive controls. I never use QB vision, or strafe and a few other minor options and I still win 98% of my games in all pro mode.

To me, 06 is better in some ways. Its easier to do everything on 06 even on all-madden On 08, its no fun unless you turn most of the a.i. stuff down. then at least you'll have a fair game. There's more in the gameplay (when you're playing the game) in 06 then 08 and probably 09. Why did they leave some stuff in 06 which really started to ruin 06's chances of getting a good rating. The graphics are better, physics are better (on players).It moves slow but it looks good. 2010 is next in line.

The graphics, in my opinion only, look more realistic than 07, 08, and 09. It seems as if they made a sacrifice for a better frame rate by making the players look not as good (in terms of their faces, primarily) and also downgrading the crowd, etc. Again, this is just my opinion. I am very impressed with these visuals, even if the animations needed lots of work.
