  • you should put it in a duck suit....

  • @khaotickiller19 u r sooooooo right about that that would be soooooo cool

  • i was totally thinking penguin, but then the ending changed my mind...

  • has it not been more than a month since your last video? i love your videos and dont want you to stop making them.

  • How come you didn't talk... You done it in your other videos.

  • @Sonic7227 Talking is boring.

  • I am not an english native speaker,I speak english only in english classes but I still can understand what he is trying to say and I still want him to talk in his video.

  • Nice work man, thanx for the vid.

  • ducks off wallace and grommet?

  • & so man created the duck.

  • I love it better when you were talking..

  • i'm danish and have no problems with his accent

  • @TheGuardianss1

FUCK YOU FOR NOT LIKING DENMARK!

MAYBE I SHOULD THROW SOME RØDGRØD MED FLØDE AFTER YOU!

  • do you no if you could write a programme for arduino.im only a beginner and a big fan

  • nice :)

  • I can do with a NE555?

  • DIPSTICKS!!!!

    ...That is all.

  • Where can I buy AXE230 microcontroller?

  • too good bossss....

  • cool ending and clear tutorial even without talking.

  • 1. Robots must never harm human beings or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

    2. Robots must follow instructions from humans without violating rule 1.

    3. Robots must protect themselves without violating the other rules.

  • @thebighat99 4. Above all, robots must always obey Skynet with total disregard to the first 3 rules.

  • This inspired me to make robots! thank you so much!

  • yeah wouldn't want to say a damn word now would you?! haha

  • loved the ending ! cool robot! well done

  • 1:15 he has a glue gun, costly servo motors, expensive microcontrollers BUT NOT A SHARPENER FOR THE PENCIL? used blade lol

  • @pranshavs Aaarh.. USD 14 servos, USD 16 microcontroller, USD 4 Glue gun, free sticks.. actually it is hard to do much cheaper ;)

  • @fritslyneborg and whats d cost of a sharpener? I think you didn't read my comment

  • sweet ..

  • wow thats cool!

  • it's amazing how long it took engineers to make a bipedal robot and now you can make one with spare r/c car parts xD oh and the halloween version at the end was frickin' awesome.

  • :D

  • Sweet {0_o}

  • Superbly balanced robot.

  • Thats great !

  • Why didn't you talk in this one at all?

  • btw I only look forward to these videos on this channel.

  • awesome

  • OH GOD,

    ITS HAUNTED!

Maybe the program needs to be debugged....

  • It's eating her... and then it's going to eat me... OH MY GOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDD!

  • I loved the ending!! :D

  • i wasnt expecting th last part lol

  • the montage of the clip is super

  • can somebody convert this to arduino code pls?

  • @ich3210 Arduino code would be much longer and more complex, that's why I'm not :) You can also just spend the USD16 and get an AXE230. picaxe. com/Search/axe230

  • @fritslyneborg i would do that but i will also have to by the programmer cable everything would cost 40 usd

  • WTF THE LAST PART

  • Amazing Idea. I don't use PICAXE. I have another project in my hands, but as soon as i'll finish it, i'll try to do an RC version with a PIC. Thank you!!

  • Smart!

  • I thought he was going to make a goose! :)

  • got this bitch last night 5:30

  • Is the hole in the deck at 0:08 the robot's outhouse? Or is it to sort out the small robots from the larger robots?

  • Good one ... Would be nice to make a kit for kids out of it ...

  • you can also make the feet by glueing 2 sticks together.

  • Good~ It's moving like goose.

  • I like the fact that no one was talking.

  • I didn't talk... because didn't need to :) And because I thought it would be fun to do a video like that -- for the sake of it :D Heck, who else shows how to make a robot without saying a thing? Original video even did not have the texts, my editor made me put them on ;D

  • @fritslyneborg most people who will build this robot understood everything you said lol

  • @fritslyneborg I don't care what people say, but I love it when you were talking coz you are funny and really nice and explain things clearly. I only subscribe to makemagazine so that I can see what cool projects you were gonna show and what you were gonna teach. YOU ARE COOL! forgive my youtube name.

  • I like to see people go out side the box -- You didn't talk... You didn't need to. Another well made video!

  • @coltharpphilip Spot on analysis -- Thank you :)

  • why everybody uses hot glue for everything? like there aren't stronger or better glue, even for wood. Can somebody tell me why hot glue is so much used in all these make projects?

  • @lordicemaniac Sure: A* It's fast, cooling down - done! B* It's strong enough to hold something well, but easy to take things apart again - and easy to clean completely off. C* It has it's own "body" - it can be used to support uneven surfaced, like the feet on this robot, they are not level, but stuck on a blob of hot glue it's no problem :) D* If something falls off, or you want to adjust, you can heat the glue, and re-mount. A matter of the right glue for the right job ;)

  • @lordicemaniac It's done as soon as it cools; no waiting to cure, dry, etc.

  • i love watching things ill never do

  • What NASA couldn't figure out!

  • The reason why he stopped talking is because a lot of people were complaining about not being able to understand him with his accent. So he took a different approach and wrote everything out for our convenience. Thumbs up.

  • If you are going to take a month to make a video without you talking, count me out.

  • not actualy explaining anything this sucks

  • Just a quick note about the threadlock... You should apply it to either the bolt or the nut (or threaded hole) before you assemble them... Adding in afterwards is not that efficient.

  • wow, amazing, and very simple

  • all this needs is a tri-beam laser rifle...

  • Superb! You are a big inspiration to my daughter and myself for our projects. Thank you.

  • @Thothalas Great!! Thanks for letting me know, thanks :) I have a daughter myself ;)

  • Are you able to write the commands in the arduino program and then send it over to an ATtiny 45 or 85 instead of using axe230. If you don't know how to upload arduino code to an ATtiny 45 or 85 you can check out the video with Matt Richardson.

  • Don't be shy... Talk to us. Anything is better than silence. Nice little robot!

  • That was great :D

  • lol i want one

  • tolles Video! its a great project!

  • duck :D

  • has the host become mute?

  • that thing is awesome!! Im going to build it! Order me some servo's and a microcontroller

  • great! just great! i promise one day to try arduino or something and create my own mechanic friend:)

  • I liked the ending!

  • it walks like a retarded duck :)

  • Good Job!!!!

  • 1:19 Love that sound! :P

  • Fantastic idea, execution, & video!

  • thumbs up if you think Kipay makemagine videos to make

  • This is starting to turn into a porno guys..

  • ROBOSAPIEN V1!!!

  • Why is there no talking in this video ? ... its retarded !!!!

  • crazy and cool

  • that is awesome!!!!

  • Frits rules. Great stuff one video after another!

  • great easy project, gonna make it sometime!

  • i cant find the mikrocontroller where can i find it and where can i buy the programmer?

  • @ich3210 3:08 :)

  • @fritslyneborg yes but i cant find where to by it

  • It looks so silly... I need to make one :D

  • Awesome horror movie there! :D jk. ;] thanks! really nice project ;]

  • this guy has way too much free time, i wonder what his job is lol im jealous

  • duck duck...servo

  • LOL funny robot! : P

  • I like the new format.

  • That's one cool robot, hehe

  • haha, nice

  • that was adorable XD

  • dam cute

  • Great video! Good job telling the story without narration.

  • Now we just need a talking robot.

  • I really wanna make a robot now.

  • @BiscuitNGravyTales Great :) Then it was worth it all :)

  • Awesome

  • did someone lose their voice or something?!:)

  • No narration?

  • don't watch this video with headphones and if so make sure the volume isn't up too loud >< scared the hell out of me at the end lol

  • is the programming JAVA based?

  • Could be done with only 2 servos... there are many examples around... Penguin, Toddler, others...

  • That was extremely awesome ! Great video!

  • Any project with a severed doll head is OK in my book!

  • make started being good ,Kipkay started being bad.

  • christ you're adorable. cool bot!!

  • this is Donald Duck! :)

  • drunken ghost

  • @SuprHibpy Picaxe chips are programmed in a version of BASIC specifically designed for use in Education. I know this because i use them at my school.

  • @keits96 Picaxe is more suitable for that robot! It is smaller, and you don't need an arduino to control 3 servos, that code is very short. Also, it is always good to experiment with a whole load of platforms.

  • Job well done.

  • Incredible!!!

  • nice project thanks for sharing it

  • Build, build, build.. BREAK! ... Put it all back together.

  • Great Job

  • Lol @ the end :DD Why he used PICAXE? Arduino FTW!!!

  • Good job bro!!

  • I really enjoy that even with your limited time frame your putting out these great DIY. However, why aren't you talking at all?

  • Nice work

  • OMG A PINGUIN SITAH!

  • Great job ;)

  • are you cutting the wood with a saw for metal ?!

  • @liquidus2172

Its a hacksaw, it can be used for a bunch of things.

  • @MarshFacev2 it's designed for metal and plastic, but you can use it for wood, but that will take longer than using a proper hand saw and the metal support will stuck if you cut a large piece of wood, so it's useless!

  • The last clip made this whole video worth the wait :D

  • lol love the ending

  • That looks super easy to build I have never written my own code so I'm wondering if it's hard to write

  • cool!

  • Nice, I also would like to hear you talk to us!

  • @justadbeer this video is made form lots of short clips, if he talked while making this it would sound rubbish

  • @24853765 Yeah...I know your right. I just enjoy hearing him talk. I can hear it in his voice that he really gets excited about what he's doing & that makes it that much more fun for me : )

  • @justadbeer agreed

  • @justadbeer or an background music

  • @justadbeer thats overrated

  • nice robot but next vid could ou at least talk why did go through this whole vid with no voice over did you lose your voice if you did i understand but still if you cant talk at least pot some music in it but still good robot and could you make it atonimus next time???

  • this is qwacktastic :)

  • make a robot that can burn a mini house and also like a fire truck kill the flame

  • reminds me of the old tin wind up toys i had when i was a kid

  • yawn.

  • @TheLegoboulder well if your touching the metal part of the glue gun itl melt.

  • Woow! Maestro!

  • Lets see it burn and walk at the same time.

  • I JUST UN SUBED

  • @4gungun You sir. suck...

  • please make more like this!

  • great video, but what happened to your voice?
