@claireandmatt1 because of Disney they cancelled selling the family-edition of ghibli dvd's here in europe, seems they want to make more money, like always...
@claireandmatt1 but I will absolutely watch it, but as it will not come here in the cinemas I go for english-dvd's, here you can't buy, so expensive...the family-edition would have been payable, and they were allready able to order some time ago, but then Disney took over Ghibli and they cancelled
@claireandmatt1 I know (but then Disney took over Ghibli)...the porblem here is that the market is not big enough for good animes, so they have to be more expensive when they want to earn money (and mostly german audio is really bad, specially non-ghibli-movies...)
and Disney-productions are also expensive here too...its sad, with better prices more people would watch I guess, because they mostly dont run here in cinemas, but I am fine with english- or US-dvd's, because I prefer to watch with japanese-audio and english-subtitles...
@1Miako Oui, même si au debut j'était perplexe vu que c'était Aoi Teshima ( je connaissais la chanteuse mais n'avais pas un souvenir impérissable de sa voix trop monotone (mais qui fait son charme pour certain ) ) et non plus Joe Hisaishi pour la musique. Finalement sa colle bien au film qui est vraiment magnifique <3
It was released in November, 2011, in Taiwan. There was quite a lot of promotion. They even organized an exhibition featuring the original arts from this film. I believe the exhibition is still going on in Taipei.
Hopefully by Christmas time, this movie will be out. idk
