Hi Manbal-
No. I I'm using the 212 WITH my CPu at 5.0 not because. I should be clear; my CPU is one of those 1 percenters ....I only need 1.4 volts for full load at 5.0. I could probably get away with the stock cooler for a short peroiod of time.
