  • @MegaEvilpimp

    Thanks!:)

  • I like the clear Evans

  • @MightyTristar500

    Me too....at the moment1

  • Hey man, real nice sound you got there. Just a quick question, i've put some coated remo emperors on my kit recently and they sound fairly dead. What sort of tuning have you got for the coated heads in this video? (For the batter AND resonant)

Any help would be highly appreciated, cheers!

  • Far out man, you are awesome. Your drumming is brilliant!

  • By the way... any tuning tip on the snare? Thanks!

  • Man! I must get coated heads! Sweet! Nice drumming!

  • Coated for me :)

  • omg ur snare is so awesome its the nicest

  • coated

  • Great playing and great sounding kit! I have the same basic set but I use the 13x14 FT w/ legs. My toms are 8x10 and 9x12, what are your depths? And how is your bass set up? Ported, muffled, pillowed, etc. Gotta love the MCAs w/ vintage natural finish!

  • also what snare are you using. You got it tuned perfect

  • @tdfenix11

    It's a 14x6.5 Dixon/Brady Rosewood Snare. Thanks!

  • clears are so much livelier though

  • Great playing and you also saved me some money. I`ll keep my coated heads, thanks a lot!!:O)

  • @eigilsiren

Cool glad it was helpful, I've been using coated for years, but am experimenting again with the clears. They have a bite that I am quite liking for certain situations.

  • I gotta go with the coated. Clear heads always have this "plastic-y" attack sound to them which I don't really care for. To me the coated heads give you a bit darker and fuller tone.

  • @dblinkhorn32

Yeah I agree, although some music I've been playing recently seemed to need the bite that the clear heads give you. Thanks

  • Awesome lick in 1:08 -1:14 could you explain what that is?

a quick double with your feet followed by a flam and then 9 stroke doubles or Press roll?

Great job man you're a reason to continue practincing.

  • I prefer clear Evans G1 drum heads - sound brighter.

Nice Video ( as usual) !

  • Love Custom Absolute.Great sound. What kind of drums you was using on you other videos?

  • @LOUD7

Yeah I agree, other vids are an older Premier Genista and a Sonor Jungle. Thanks
